One episode cannot change your life
This is an insulting podcast tormenting those who struggle with “treatment resistant” conditions and live in situations of crisis.

Maybe it’s “connection”?? When you were both talking about the positive health (physical and mental) impacts of spiritual and religious practices - I was thinking that we could probably look at this from another angle. Maybe church or spiritual thinking is the medium but I believe it’s a connection with others (or nature) that are the true root causes for mental and physical health improvements. All the religious and spiritual people i know are more connected to people and nature. Also, I’m a practicing Buddhist - which probably jades my beliefs a bit. ;) Thx for a great episode!

    Backwards ego-centric mindset
The general attitude of this show seems to be: How can I realize and manifest that I’m better than others. I just can’t listen to this. It’s the exact thing that is wrong with our world and society.

    Pl let the guest speak.
Mel has great guests and great conversations but I feel we don’t get the complete benefit of the guests’ knowledge and ideas because Mel continues to talk more than the guest. My request - please let the guest speak. Thanks

    Regurgitated information
I had listened to the show for quite some time but decided to stop after I was getting sick of her talking over her guests. Nonstop interruptions . She’s just so full of herself! Also was getting sick of listening to her chain smoker sounding voice.

    Science doesn’t prove things
Pet peeve of mine. It’s impossible to scientifically prove anything in the affirmative. We seek to disprove things. It’s all the math we use allows. We accept, after decades and decades of finding no other suitable explanation, that one explanation, or hypothesis, is likely true. But prove? With one or 10 studies? In the affirmative? No. We can only disprove. It would help people understand science and scientific speech better if we all used correct language. Thanks!

Why are Americans so easily scammed by narcissists like this scammer? What is it that makes Americans so stupid?

    Helping through the hardest days
I’m a natural skeptic so I am always a little wary of motivational speakers, but let me tell you Mel just comes across as so real and genuine and vulnerable. She offers the best advice and has great guests on the show that provide really helpful and actionable insights. I’m not one to jump on a bandwagon but I’m pretty sure if Mel ran a cult I’d probably sign up. I’m kidding but this podcast has truly helped me on some rough days and I know I can hit play or open one of her books when I need to reset my mind in a more positive direction. She lets you know that you aren’t alone and then arms you with the tools to get back up again. Thank you, Mel for spreading light when things feel heavy.

    Dr. Lindsay Gibson episode NO.
You don’t have to like your parents, but you do need to take responsibility for your own mental health. Blaming parents gets you stuck. Move on. This interview and author is a tale as old as time. Nothing new here. Unfollowing this show. Nothing new or interesting.

    Incredible. Insightful. Astounding.
This podcast is exactly what I’ve been needing in my life. Mel Robbins is like a friend talking to me about issues I’m experiencing. Thank you 🙌

    Amazing podcast!
Every episode I’ve listened to has been truly incredible! Can’t express how much Mel Robbins has helped me find clarity, purpose, and happiness in my life just by listening to her remarkable research, insight, knowledge and guest speakers. Give Mel Robbins a listen. You won’t regret it! Love you Mel!

This podcast is a life changer
Mel gives the support and advice that I never knew I needed. I had found myself overwhelmed with the news cycle and feeling helpless in the direction of my life. One morning I decided to try a podcast instead of doom scrolling. I found Mel and I’m never looking back. Each episode helps me better understand myself and the people closest to me. I leave each episode feeling calm, motivated, and with the energy to face my day with a positive outlook.
  • Not just for athletes!
    So glad I found you!
I’m on a long road trip from Austin to my summer home in Chester, VT during a transitional time in my life trip. Listened to your episode with Jay Shetty twice (the second time to take actionable notes). I am three years out from losing my partner of 40+ years to pancreatic cancer. I am looking forward, not back, and creating/recreating my script. Thanks for so much great inspiration about wellness and possibilities. Will be a follower of the podcast for sure.

    Go Figure
This podcaster has taken New Age guru-ism to a level that flaunts anyone can scour the internet or use AI to share info with listeners who seemingly don’t know how to do these things themselves. Please stop giving 5-Star reviews to someone who not only does your lazy work for you but also significantly appropriates what another person had already come up with but listeners give this podcaster credit instead. No matter the info provided in this platform based mostly on New Age beliefs or substance that intrigues but is like eating a dessert that gave a momentary “happy” feeling then the sugar level drops, the reality comes back that you’re still unhappy or having to seek the next guru’s epiphany that lasts as long in real life as the need to take a breath. Oprah Winfrey started this guru path because she felt a higher power blessed her life in gaining fame and riches when in reality people, mere human beings, saw her talent and simply hired her to do a job they felt she would do well—and she did so in an authentic manner that pleased audiences in that time. Yet, strangely, Oprah gives no credit to these mere human beings who hired her, helped launch her lucrative career. This podcaster has a team that searches the internet on the topics and people who wrote or represent the ideas shared in each episode—that’s it. Listeners get the flavor of the week they can easily look up and read themselves devoid of ads or repetition in order to fill the need of time for a podcast. Then again, perhaps this podcaster outsourced for its 5-Star reviews as another podcaster’s forum in Apple reported is a common occurrence…that’s what I figure is going on to keep it high on the charts.

    Mel is so relatable
I already thought that Mel was relatable and then I listen to the latest podcast about being a mom and I just cannot relate anymore to her thank you, Mel

The friend & subjects you didn’t know you needed!
Mel has conversations as if you are the friend in the room too. Her way of communicating and making people feel seen and validated is unmatched. I almost have to remind myself if I saw her IRL, she wouldn’t know me bc I feel like I know her as a close friend. By far my favorite podcast to listen to and it feels as though it’s every subject I never knew I needed to hear til I listened. She is life changing for me and how I engage with people around me. I could never thank her enough and one day wish to hug her in person to say this. 🥰

How did you let #285 air?
Shocking you let this play. I’m literally concerned for people hearing a message to avoid supplements and MRIs that have helped so many people detect early health issues. One of the most recent supplement published studies was on the aging population and collagen supplements. It showed muscle retention. Thats pivotal for that age group. This is so disappointing
  • dallas61
    A little repetitive
What started out as repetitive is now completely formulaic. Mel says the same thing to start every episode and it takes 5-10 minutes to do so. Mel seems to think her audience is not smart the way she repeats everything and breaks it down for a 5 year old. Give your listeners a little credit. Mel has decent guests at least some of the time but has anyone else noticed the round robin interviews of a set of podcasters? They are all just interviewing each other without many of them being experts in anything. I’ll do your show if you do mine is how it seems.
  • MJWR 2023
    Dr Topol
Love you Mel! I really enjoyed the episode with Dr Topol BUT his position on supplements is so concerning to me and I think can be very much misunderstood by the audience. If a person has low vitamin B or D for example, supplementing is extremely important and will absolutely make a difference to their health yet Dr Topol is telling us that there is no evidence to support the use of supplements and that they are only making a difference in our urine?

    Lost it
She had a “WORLD WIDE sex expert” on and said having sex before bedtime is bad and having sex on dates should not be the best part of the date . . . . . Excuse me B! Who the heck called you an expert?

    Plagiarized pop psychology
The Mel Robbins Podcast is a masterclass in saying a lot without actually saying much. Mel’s delivery is confident, sure—but the advice? It’s oversimplified, surface-level, and often feels more like recycled Instagram captions than meaningful insight. What’s more frustrating is the lack of originality. The now-viral “Let Them” theory, which Robbins presents as a transformative mindset shift, wasn’t even her idea. It came from Cassie Phillips, a mindset coach who shared that concept long before Robbins ever mentioned it. A quick Google search is all it takes to find the real source. Giving credit matters, especially when your entire platform is built on “life-changing” ideas. If you’re looking for depth, substance, or genuinely original thought, this isn’t the podcast for you. But if you’re fine with motivational fluff repackaged from other creators, then Mel’s got plenty of that on tap.

    Episode 283 on Friendship
Loved this episode. I especially enjoyed the tree analogy of friendships throughout a person’s life. Awesome. Thank you so much! 😀

    Great guests, too much fluff
Mel has great guests and often in the middle of the episode there is good content, but she spends SO MUCH TIME telling you how important and life changing what you’re about to hear/are hearing/just heard is that literally it drives me bonkers. Just do the interview, stop telling us how we are about to hear the biggest news of our lives every other sentence in EVERY interview!
  • Nel_95!
    Best Podcast!
I feel so seen by Mel and love how down to earth and approachable she is. I always love having a new podcast pop up on my page and getting to learn alongside her from incredible guests.

    Diverse, probing content
I’m really impressed with this podcast! Mel does such a fantastic job of bringing on a wide range of guests, which keeps things so interesting. What I especially appreciate is her interviewing style – she really knows how to ask those insightful questions that make her guests delve deeper and truly unpack their thoughts.

    Friendship
I really needed to hear this to help me be better and to heal from those friends I have loss. It’s a great pod I shared with friends

    Best podcast ever!
Episode 282 with Jay Shetty was the single best episode on any podcast I’ve ever listened to. Just as Mel was impacted and emotional, I was also. Jay has a perspective on life and living that really opened my eyes on why I do what I do and what I need to do differently for my own life purpose. Thank you Mel!

    Seen finally.
I’ve never felt so seen. Being in your 20’s right now is literally crying 1-3 times a month. But 20s with possibilities is my new anthem. Thankyou!

    Ep 281 #1 Weightloss Doctor
This episode is amazing! Thank you for Validating the feelings, and struggles faced trying to loose weight. It was an emotional episode for me. Mel your questions were right on point and Dr. Rocio Salas-Whalen your answers were so well Explained. Ive shared this with so many friends. I wasn’t success using GLP1.

    Good
Good but the introductions take wayyyyyyy too long
  • SMM328
    Repetitive
Some ideas and advice is helpful but I find her introductions and even beyond that to be so repetitive and just feels like filler. A streamlined show without so much digressive self-pondering and promotion would make this more appealing.

    meh
repeating something many times doesn’t make a good podcast. also, learned nothing new.

    Good guests
I love some of the guests Mel has on. I frequently find that Mel speaks as if she is the expert though instead of letting the experts share and then Mel add in her personal experiences/opinions.

Jay Shetty shares timeless wisdom on finding clarity

    Weight loss doctor episode
Terrible podcast. There is so much info that this drug is bad for people. This is not promoting people to take responsibility to educate themselves on things like ultra processed foods. Really bad guest Mel. I’m sorry but people do need to take responsibility for their health. Not just take another pill

I like to tell people mel is my therapist!

Weight loss episode is harmful. Please do not share with loved ones.
Mel is great but the recent episode on weight loss was a little much. It felt like she was really selling weight loss and that if you care about your loved ones you should share this with them. I wish there had been any type of awareness around eating disorders and potential triggers at the start of the episode. Also, this is one endocrinologists take and there are a lot of arguments around correlation vs causation with health issues that correlate with obesity. I found this episode triggering and worrisome and I’ve had years of ED therapy and nutritional work. Please don’t send this to a loved one who struggles with their weight or body image. I would recommend they see a Health at Every Size certified nutritionist to work on a plan for them individually without fat shaming them or saying their weight means they have a “disease” of obesity. This was upsetting language despite good intentions.

    Weight
I’ve been dealing with this weight issue for the past 38 years. I’m so tired of it. I wanted to go on Z pound but my doctor basically said I have to have diabetes or a heart attack because Medicare won’t pay for it. I’m so so irritated that only the rich or connected can go on this.
  • Lread0906
    Pushing to Share
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like Mel is always pushing to share and sort of treating the audience like an mlm might treat their family. I sure do enjoy her guests, but I also feel like she really plays up how important the information is and how incredible her guests are. I don’t know, it feels not entirely honest about how this is just another interview wellness show. Which there’s nothing wrong with, to be fair, but I don’t want to be told to share this episode every 5 minutes and for the intro to every episode be a 7 minute lead up.. when we could just jump in? The style feels pushy and grand standy. That said, the guests she has on are very intelligent. I don’t know that Mel really asks or challenges her guests much, but they seem interesting and I have learned some.
