    Best comprehensive podcast
Incredible to have access to new science, and even better to hear it explained in a way that’s clear and accessible to everyone

    Sci-YES
Talks science- check, interesting and challenging topics- check, applies science to real life to help understand how to better operate in the chaos- check. This podcast is incredible. Every time I think I listened to the best episode, I listen to the next one and found something more enlightening. The episode about diets with Dr. Gardner had me overnight making more thoughtful choices about the food I eat. I have been in ISF therapy for a year and this episode was spectacular. Lastly, the episode on addiction was groundbreaking for bringing awareness about an illness that ravages families, speaking from a sister, daughter and wife of an addict. I would love to see an episode about the recent changes coming from NIH on animal testing and how AI can advance research by minimizing exposure to animals in pre-clinical studies and humans in clinical studies. I need the Hubermind on this one! Thanks for all you do!

Was great, now not so much
I discovered Dr. Huberman not long after he started this podcast—it was excellent and I learned a lot. Now, the content and guests reflect what seems to be a shift from science to opinion, even inserting politics, which is truly unfortunate. I miss the quality of the early episodes.

    Unscientific Science
I used to be a big Huberman fan and even saw him live once. He’s an interesting guy and has a lot to say. On the other hand, he seems very stern about health. His dogmatic approach to health creates more shame and guilt than whatever he’s trying to help with. He is patronizing to his audience and learning about him outside of the podcast I can now see how calculated his persona is. I haven’t learned in well over a year now. I think he just oversells what he talks about and exaggerates claims like only one study being the be all and end on a topic. He’s too trusting of “the science” in a way but at the same time is skeptical of “the science” when there’s political motive.

    Boring
He tries to sound smart when he talks it’s so annoying. I don’t believe he’s really that smart. He’s like Tim Ferris .

    Thanks for Backing Kennedy
Continue supporting those people you feel are making the world a better place and continue to give those individuals a shared platform. It’s unfortunate that some people bash such a wonderful show, and wonderful person due to their personal biases.

Let your guests inform and educate the audience!
I tune in to learn from guests. Huberman interrupts to speak about what he does, likes, thinks, or believes in a virtue-signaling style that is off-putting, but worse, interferes with the guest’s expert and better studied information. He argues with Dr. Gardner’s impeccably researched and proven facts as if needing the Dr to put the stamp of approval on his less than optimal dietary choices. Surprising that Huberman is still reluctant to present Plant Based Whole Foods as the —proven time and again, superior way to approach nutrition for optimum health, longevity, and well being for humans, animals, and the environment. Please continue bringing experts to educate yourself and your audience in WFPB nutrition, agricultural and marine scientists to learn about the environmental impact of food, and medical doctors practicing lifestyle medicine treating people holistically to get at the root cause of disease and promote health.

Contracts of love and money- Wow.
The salience of this episode striking. It is brimming with valuable information that I wish I had known before marriage and a subsequent detrimental divorce. It’s incredibly pertinent for navigating and building a successful, honest, and safe relationship.

    Stop legitimizing Kennedy
I love this podcast and have learned so much, but you need to stop casually legitimizing Kennedy. He supports pseudoscience, says vaccines increase the chances of getting the diseases they prevent, and takes random chemicals to treat himself. It’s dangerous and you know better.
  • it’s not about you
    self-important
Every title/subject of this podcast “seems” fascinating. But, whiteout fail, Dr. Huberman inserts himself into the subject material, and makes it seem like he choose the host for personal gains/knowledge he can apply to his own life, under the guise of assisting general public or people other than himself. He even coopted an episode on WOMEN’S PHYSIOLOGY, trying to use himself as an example/gain information to apply to him. A lot of the information is interesting, but I never end a show with much take-home. Even as someone who’s run over 70 marathons and is quite into recreation and fitness I find most of his episodes just simply inapplicable. I’m recreationally quite serious about my health and it’s not that he “goes into he weeds” too much - i’m very STEM-oriented and I just don’t think much of the information he provides is that applicable to many others than himself. He also is out of touch. He operates in some AI-vacuum where actual human/social influences are out of his peripheral vision. Take one of the alcohol episodes: he seems to grimace/condescend on those choosing to engage in behaviors his research proves are physiologically antagonistic as if it’s as simple as math - it’s not. It just comes off as ignorant and extremely self-righteous.

    Excellent source for medical insights
Amazing episode with Dr Chris Palmer. Dr Huberman is one of the few Sources I go to to get medical insights from leading experts that come on the show. Thank you

    Pseudoscience
While I think this podcast started with generally decent information, it has devolved into pseudoscience. As a scientist, I know that much of what he confidently claims as truth is pure nonsense. Huberman seems to have fallen victim to audience capture and bro podcast culture.

This podcast has changed my life
I’ve been listening to Huberman since 2021 and he has completely transformed my life. Helping me develop habits and behaviors that will serve me for a lifetime, I’m forever grateful for this podcast. If you’re a human looking to enhance your life in every way possible, start here!

A lot of useful insight while also pushing wild health claims..
Been listening for years, and while a lot of topics & guests are insightful and address important health trends, it’s hard not to feel subject to wild claims that seem to promote his sponsors and sometimes opinionated guests more than being rooted in any type of actually scientific studies. IE his mantra he repeats several times each show of 1G protein to 1lb of body weight. While it is overall objectively true that most humans, especially Americans, don’t eat enough clean protein that ratio is BANANAS- the only time those numbers hold up is for a professional bodybuilder getting ready for competition. Setting that as an objective goal without any context sends people down a rabbit hole of consuming way too much synthesized protein and/or way too many calories to hit those numbers which can cause adverse effects to the body. The big problem is that a lot of people seem to take his show as the gospel so when you have this big of a following you have to be very careful to back your claims on numerous unbiased scientific studies, not on your sponsors and sometimes radical guests.

The episode on menopause is incredibly comprehensive and informative. Thank you for making this information available. More people should be talking about this.

    Doesn’t let guests speak
This man clearly thinks the world of himself. Won’t let guests talk— yikes (more so women, too..) I’ll pass.

Surprising Topic but thoroughly enjoyed it!
I totally wasn’t expecting to see an episode on pets but I enjoyed hearing what we can learn from their behaviors and I enjoyed listening to your conversation with Dr. Westerlund.
  • JorgeSexto
    (Almost totally) amazing
Andrew Huberman is always well prepared and well researched. His breadth of knowledge about each topic is astounding. He is able to hold a wide breath between the details of the science and what that means on a practical level as well as a psychosocial level. The part that often has me wanting to stop listening is that he'll ask a question and ask it seven more times before letting the person just answer the question and then that person will start to answer and then Andrew will interrupt within two sentences. Andrew, you are totally awesome, but please have a little self restraint with this. Thanks!

    Great discussions!
Fascinating scientific discussions on every podcast I’ve listened to. Negative reviews are hilarious! I wonder how healthy the haters are? Putting yourself out there trying to help people is a thankless job these days. Way to go Huberman! I’m a healthcare provider with 11 years practicing, btw.

    Please interview better!
I like a lot of the information on this podcast, and I especially like listening when you have therapists on. But when you have them on, you talk way too much. Please do some research on how to interview people because you don’t give them enough of a chance to talk and share the quality information that they have. Lori Gottlieb and Richard Schwartz barely got a word in edgewise.

Shocking News: Scientist Has Opinions. Internet Implodes.
It’s truly horrifying when someone as educated, well-researched, and profoundly helpful as Dr. Huberman dares to think independently. Imagine…gasp…listening to Joe Rogan, or acknowledging something like MAHA. Clearly this negates years of neuroscience education, groundbreaking research, and hours upon hours of free, life-changing content. Thankfully, the review section is here to remind us that anonymous strangers with zero credentials but plenty of outrage are the real experts. Bravo. If you’re the type of person who needs your science spoon-fed through a political filter, maybe stick to TikTok wellness tips. For the rest of us, Huberman’s work continues to be brilliant, informative, and refreshingly free of ideological hand-holding.

    Great Info.

    Joe Rogan jr
The unfortunate thing is that there is good information here but he’s MAGA adjacent and has a hard on for Joe Blogan which is a hard no. Just give your information and leave your bro opinions for your friends, Bro.
  • jc 194
    Starting to wonder…
He shares lots of good info, but with the recent touting of MAHA (not inherently bad if coming from a non political perspective), I do need to understand his position on vaccines before patronizing him further. This country is getting mixed signals about vaccines from MAHA leadership and that’s a real public health issue.
  • nspappas
    Completely Disappointed
Dr. Hyman was great too bad this arrogant, misinformation spreader kept interrupting and focusing on himself. Probably no surprise to those of you who listen. Those who are considering listening I wouldn’t bother - unless you are also one of those entitled white males who are only interested in themselves and living forever- which good luck with that b/c at what cost to the rest of us.

    Overblown
Every episode is 3+ hours because Huberman treats them like a therapy session. And now he is touting the MAHA agenda? I’m out.

    Disappointed
Very disappointed by some of the comments made by Chris Palmer. He referred to girls starting to menstruate as being thin and attractive several times. This is inappropriate by a health professional, it sexualizes children and promotes thinness. He stated obese moms are twice as likely to have autistic children, and as an afterthought later, it turns out men have the same statistic. This is a familiar trope of blaming the mother.

    New format
The approach I listen to today on fat loss is so much better than the previous format you have used. You jumped into the subject right away, your advertisements were spaced throughout your presentation. I also loved your brief summary. Thank you for your work. good luck keep it up.

    Reputable podcast
Andrew continues to produce very good podcasts and remaining neutral and scientific in his approach to data. Thankful he isn’t promoting MAHA camp or ideology here as science should not be political. He doesn’t alienate and validates as appropriate but isn’t shoving his views in our face. I will continue to listen.

Staci Whitman - Opinion versus evidence
Dr. Whitman rarely cited published evidence for all of her claims of what is important and her recommendations. I kept waiting to hear about the randomized trials. She acknowledged on a few occasions that there was an association with the factors she mentioned. But that’s it. Never talked about the studies and any limitations of them. Very disappointing that Dr. Huberman just gobbled it up and even expanded it with anecdotal experience of friends who died of pancreatic cancer. Dr. Huberman, You can do better.

    Too many commercials
Commercials are so bad now. I usually stop listening to podcasts that start to aggressively peddle supplements. It’s really quite simple how to stay healthy in both mind and body. You don’t need supplements if you follow the blue zone diets with consistent exercise. So why even try to get people to buy expensive supplements. It’s greedy. Also, all these middle age podcaster dudes are 100% doing steroids…lol…what a crazy world we live in.

    Life changing
Each episode has given me easy things to change to improve my health. The headache episode was literally life-changing! After adding the recommended supplements, I haven’t had another migraine! I’ve been seeing a neurologist for years for this issue and am a physician myself but had never gotten this info- why don’t they teach us this in medical school??? Keep up the great work!

    Alcohol
Boy oh boy. Episode 86. Thank you for explaining in terms that are relatable, what Alcohol does to our minds and to our systems. It was all the information I didn’t want to hear at first. I am now very grateful to know the truth. The reason I haven’t reached my health goals. The reason I have relied on it at days end for years. I’ve known that it was holding me back but, details help me face it square on. I’m very thankful Dr. Huberman. 👏🏻

    Sponsored by BetterHelp?
BetterHelp has faced lawsuits for unethical practices, including mishandling user data and questionable therapist qualifications. It’s frustrating to see Huberman promote a service with such a problematic track record, especially when mental health care should be handled with care and integrity. Please do your research when it comes to sponsors you give glowing reviews about. I seriously doubt Huberman or anyone he knows personally would use BetterHelp for his own therapy. He recently interviewed the founder of IFS, and you definitely won’t find a qualified IFS therapist on BetterHelp.
