I love, love, love the new ideas for the SEC to place 4 teams into the CFP based on SEC driven play in tournament. I particularly like the regular season 1 vs 2 both getting bids along with the winner of 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5. Higher ranked teams get home field. This plan increases each team’s opportunity based off on field performance, offsets the impact of a tougher SEC schedule, and eliminates CFP committee bias / drama. This could totally be done in the future. I Remember starting 2026, the CFP format doesn’t require unanimous consensus; the big 10 and SEC will dictate the terms. If a 14 team CFP had played out this year, it would have eliminated all the subjective nonsense that came with comparing SC, AL, Ole Miss, Miami, and SMU. Something like the following would have resulted, which would have created an opportunity to settle this season’s questions on the field. 1 - Oregon 2 - Georgia 3 - PSU 4 - Texas 5 - ND 6 - Indiana 7 - Boise State 8- OSU 9 - Tenn / SC 10 - SMU (ACC reg champion) 11 - ASU (Big12 reg champion) 12 - AL / Ole Miss 13 - ISU/Colorado 14 - Miami / Clemson

Pearson, Wes, and Chris are fantastic co-hosts with really great chemistry. The shows are always interesting, informative, and often funny. I’ve tried a lot of different Gamecock podcasts and this is by far the best in my opinion. Whether you’re looking for game breakdown or recruiting insights, it’s all here.

The various podcasts in the network keep it fresh. All maintain professional insight and discussion without delving into sports “shock jock” territory that seems to be on the rise with other outlets. Production seems to be crispest on Fowler’s “Get Cocky” - which coincidently seems to be the most controversial of the broadcasts. All are excellent and a must listen for any Gamecocks fan.

I have enjoyed listening to this podcast. The banter and back and forth is entertaining and represents how most gamecock fans feel. Keep up the good work!!
