Like a warm hug of self care
I found this podcast at the perfect time and I’m absolutely loving it! As a new mom in her early 30s who has always loved skincare I was so excited to find Amy on instagram and learn that we were in similar life stages. Her podcast was exactly what I needed as I am learning to take care of myself again postpartum. The advice that I have gained from Amy and her guests has encouraged me to take those extra few minutes in my day to commit to my routines and take care of myself again. I’ve learned a lot from her episodes and appreciate her commitment to evidence-based medicine. I would highly recommend this podcast to anyone wanting to learn more about skincare and wellness as Amy delivers information with the perfect mix of science and self care!

    The best skin focused podcast!
If you are into skincare/ skin health then this is the pod for you! I found the skinthusiast pod early 2024 and have basically listened to every episode since then without ever being disappointed. Amy is a wonderful host, well spoken, and has years of education behind her to backup her professional opinion and experience. By far my favorite skin health podcast.

    Love this!
I first found Amy through her recent inte TV Jew with Dr Shannon on the Dr Shannon Show! I am an Evlo member and I have purchased and started following so many of Amy’s tips so far! I love her advice and how it is just easy to follow and she recommends various options for all types of people whether you are a skincare junkie or novice . This is a great podcast! I listen to it while walking on the treadmill!

    Thank you!
This podcast is beyond helpful! The most recent episode about how you transformed your hair was so encouraging and offered amazing guidance on where to start if you have damaged hair. I first heard about the podcast from Dr. Shannon’s Show and I can’t get enough of it now. Thank you for all of the great content!
  • Whitli
    So good!
Recently found Amy’s podcast and Instagram and am loving the content! I love to solos and also guest episodes and I appreciate being able to hear tips and tricks from a professional when there is so much content out there which makes it hard to know what to listen to!

    Amazing resource!
I look forward to each new episode - Amy does such a great job at helping me weed through the many skincare products out there and determine what I truly need/what is scientifically backed. I am now pregnant and truly appreciate the episodes on pregnancy skincare, as it can be challenging to navigate. The lifestyle episode on nutrition and balancing blood sugar was also fantastic and so helpful. Thank you!!

    Amazing!
Learning the in’s and out’s of skincare has been a passion of mine the last couple years. This podcast keeps me well informed from experts I can trust and I look forward to listening as often as possible! <3 This also convinced me to get NuFace and I’m so excited to start.

    Love this podcast!!!!
I listen to a lot of podcasts AND I am a skincare junkie! Finding this made my worlds collide and I could not be happier! I love the guests and also the solo episodes because I love the Q&A section! Even though I am 57 and my skin concerns are different than a younger listener’s skincare concerns, I do have a 25 year old daughter who listens to my advice! So I always tell her about the information too! Thanks for such a wonderful weekly podcast!

This podcast is a game changer!
I found Amy on my for you page on instagram and had been following her for months before I decided to give her podcasts a try. I’m now in the process of binging all of them! She is so knowledgeable (uses actual data and studies) and very transparent whether it be in regard to price point or debunking myths. I love her solo episodes, but also find her guests to be great as well. I also recommend going to any podcast episode on which she is a guest - there is always quality content coming from her! If you’re new to the show I’d recommend starting with her first full episode about building a routine - this episode and a few others helped me to truly streamline my own skincare routines. Now that I’ve found this podcast, will never miss an episode again!

    My favorite podcast
As a licensed esthetician, I have picked up so many amazing tips and product recommendations from Amy! This podcast is packed with so much useful info for consumers and professionals. I love how much research she does on products and Ingredients and sorts through the overwhelming amount of products out there to find what is really going to be effective. Every time there’s a new episode available, it makes my day! I love listening. :)

Favorite podcast I’ve ever listened to!!
I’ve always been interested in skin and hearing the ideas of different providers, but have yet to find a podcast like Amy’s! Her voice is so soothing first of all, you can just tell how kind she is! I’ve learned COUNTLESS information about skin, gut, products, treatments, routines, tips, devices, brands, and interesting information from other providers and guests she has on the show. She explains things in such a digestible way and really takes a non-biased approach to explaining research or trends.
  • Booklistener247
    Smart and fun
This is my new favorite!!! I love the credentials standing behind Amy’s advice and information, but she also enjoys beauty and skincare. I enjoy hearing her take and getting information from a professional that’s not social media. I loved the episode with Leslie Baumann and the 16 skin types! What a revolutionary idea! I will keep listening and recommending this podcast!!
  • Jennaynay24
    My new favorite podcast!
I have learned so much since I discovered this show. Amy is an expert in her field. She presents you with evidence based information in a format that will help you to learn, while keeping you entertained. With all the misinformation out there about skincare, it is so refreshing to find someone that is not trying to sell you something. This podcast will give you the insight you need to make informed choices. If you want to learn about skincare, exercise, health and wellness. Then this is the podcast for you!

    Love this podcast!
I’m a PA student who is about to go on her derm rotation. This podcast has been so helpful for me to learn more and especially on topics PA schools dont always teach. I’m incredibly grateful for the work put into this podcast and will be a long time listener! She has also helped me with my own skincare routine and hopefully I will be able to teach my future patients as well! 💓

    Enjoying this podcast so much!!!
I discovered Amy on another podcast I listen to and I quickly became obsessed with listening to all of her episodes! Every topic and guest has been so interesting and informative. I have taken a lot of suggestions and recommendations from her. I trust what she says! I love that she does her research and how she likes the science behind things. I have throughly enjoyed listening and following her on instagram as well. I get so excited when I see she has a new solo episode, those are my favorites!
  • sarahsginsworld
    Never prescriptive, always helpful!
Amy seems like such a kind and thoughtful person. I’m so grateful for this podcast because she’s literally sharing her wisdom, expertise and experience at no cost to the listener. She’s not selling or pushing any one product and in fact really advocates for simplicity. She takes skin type and budget into consideration when giving different recs. She has a variety of guests and experts on. She explains things thoroughly and really is just generous and wants to help folks protect their skin and feel good about it and in it. 💛💛💛💛

    Balanced and Realistic
I was introduced to Amy’s podcast by my sister a couple of months ago, since then I have binge listened all the episodes. I have found them to be both balanced and realistic. She recognizes everyone has different amounts of time and money to spend on skincare and tailors her recommendations to fit everyone’s needs by letting you know what the absolute basics are but what you can add if you want to. She recommends products in a variety of price points so it can fit just about everyone’s budget. I always thought I took pretty good care of my skin but her recommendations have helped to up my game, especially since I started using Vitamin C. Thank you so much Amy, I know the long term benefits to my skin will be even better than the short term results. Holly in Tennessee

Truly amazing content and so insightful across all skin and beauty topics. The guests on the podcast span a wide range of specialties and areas. I’ve not come across a podcast episode I haven’t liked. 5 stars! My favorite guests so far are Dr. Sam Ellis and Dr. Shereene Idriss (how I found you since she was on your episode). Keep it up!

    Tuesdays Are My Favorite..
..because it means a new Skinthusiast episode has released! As a woman who recently entered her 30s and also has grown up loving all things skin, hair, and beauty, this podcast has been such an amazing wealth of information and is delivered in the most relatable, enjoyable format. I have learned so many things from ways to level up my haircare routine, transforming my skincare routine into something that is clinically effective, and has made me so much more conscious of products I’m investing in. This podcast goes even beyond these topics to discuss ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle and I love learning something new every week. Amy asks the most thoughtful questions and each interview is so fascinating. I recommend this podcast to everyone I can!! As someone also in healthcare and seeing some the pitfalls of social media with misinformation, it is great to have a reliable and evidence-based podcast to turn to each week, and makes my morning commute a happy one!

    Such a treat
I love listening to the content Amy provides. I love the dynamic perspective and evidence based approach to all things health and beauty! As a nurse practitioner trying to get into the field, I find this very helpful and from a personal standpoint very informative!

    So much good information!
I was bumbling around one day without anything to listen to when I went on a search for skincare podcasts to fill some time with something I love. I was so excited to find this podcast! Amy is a PA! I AM A PA! We are PAs! It felt like the recommendations she gives and the questions she asks her guests are so well-informed and prudent, which makes so much sense since she’s a medical provider and understands this world of skincare in a way many people cannot. But it’s not just that; she breaks it down into manageable, easy-to-understand bits that are easy to digest and to incorporate into my own skin care. It’s also helped me direct my teens to some helpful skincare routines and enforces my Sunscreen-or-Die mantra that my kids love so much (ha!). I also love that she doesn’t play into the MD vs PA vs NP infighting that can be distracting from the important education she is providing; everyone has something to contribute! And her spotlight on companies that are doing good in the world is so wonderful! LOVE this podcast, I cannot wait to listen to every episode!

Thank you so much Amy!

I’m so thankful I found Amy on Instagram, which led me to this podcast. Thank you for introducing me to so many amazing skincare brands — I love your interviews with brand founders as well as others in the medical field. I started a new skincare routine thanks to your advice and I have so much more confidence after just a few weeks. Thank you so much for making all of your content accessible for anyone who needs it.

    My daily pick me up!
I’ve been a long time skincare and make up lover, so I was so pleasantly surprised stumbling across this podcast a few weeks ago! As a new mom of two and full-time teacher, it’s hard to always squeeze in time for myself. Not only does this podcast help me find time to do this, but it also recommends practices, routines and products to assist me in getting this (minimal, but crucial and necessary!) me time. I especially loved the episodes where Amy walked us through her morning and night routine, as well as when she features other experts on her podcast in the field. Thank you for this show, Amy! -Lauren

    First time listener
I am a first time listener and just finished the hyperpigmentation episode during a walk (not during peak sun hours, of course!). I love that there is a focus evidence-based medicine. I was pleasantly surprised that the episode was so consumer friendly. I am a medical professional in women’s health, but have an interest in dermatology because I think it is a very interesting field. I have already made sure to follow the podcast and will be listening to more episodes. Thank you Amy!

    My weekly skin fix
I always look forward to listening to this podcast weekly. I graduate this month from NP school and am going into critical care like Amy when she started out but I do have a soft spot for skincare/beauty industry. She does a great job incorporating both the “influencer” side with the medical field and makes skincare seem extremely approachable! I am constantly trying what she recommends and can’t wait to purchase this weeks new finds.

    binging!!
I’m a derm PA in Florida and started this podcast while riding my bike, and now I’m 5 episodes deep day 5. Enjoying hearing and learning from several dermatologists and derm providers!
  • Gensannic
Love the skinthusiast page and podcast!
I’ve followed Amy’s IG for some time now and starting listening to the podcast when it came out. I’m in the medical field but practice in critical care and I have a love for the derm world as a patient. Being in your mid 30s brings about a great time of embracing who you are and loving yourself- starting with your skin! I love following along and learning from all the derm providers out there and I have to say Amy really covers it all and simplifies a lot! With the constant marketing ads and info overload, she’s a wonderful resource in this space!
  • JaneCash8
    You will binge these episodes
I listen to a lot of podcasts throughout my day and I really enjoy learning and taking away information that I can then apply. It’s not everyday that I find a podcast that is a joy to listen too but also fulfills my interest in dermatology while providing recommendations. I definitely binged out and was sad to make it through them all so please keep them coming!

    My weekly go to! ✨
I have been following Amy for years on Instagram and love her insightful and data backed information for skincare products. Using her recommendations over the years, has helped me maintain my hormonal acne, but also make my skin truly glow! I recently listened to her newest episode about the importance of preconception- and as I am currently going through infertility myself, this information was truly helpful, but also made me feel reassured about the lifestyle changes I have been incorporating. Thank you, Amy, for once again delivering an episode with amazing information!

I love how Amy has brought in experts in each area to discuss topics that are hard for us to get. The passion that exudes from Amy and these experts to share knowledge and inform the public are such a blessing and I’m so thankful. Amy is incredibly nice and I’ve reached out to her in DM for episode ideas and she heard what I was needing and was able to guide me to which episode of hers I should listen to! I am always nervous to engage with people in the social media world but Amy was so welcoming and kind! Thank you Amy for being you and being so open with your knowledge and expertise 🫶🏻🫶🏻
