    What happened?
The use of censorship I feel takes away from the victims and the power of those words like no Stephanie she wasn’t ā€œR -wordedā€ she was brutally raped say it what it is and be an adult about it

    Unsubscribing
Her husband seems kinda stupid. He asks questions about things she literally just said. -ā€œAnd the killer was the dadā€ -ā€œWait, so the killer was the dad?ā€ Also keep ur phones on silent. Can’t stand hearing ur notifs vibrating. Super distracting. One more thing, pls keep ur liberal comments to urself. Not everyone is a democrat.

She goes deeper and farther than most podcasts and documentaries, not to mention she does in either all one or parts. She helped me learn more about cases then others

    SA R Word
This would be a good pod cast if there wasn’t a ridiculous amount of unnecessary self censorship. Rape isn’t a bad word and saying ā€œr wordedā€ is just stupid

PLEASE COVER THE MUSHROOM COOK STORY
I have refused to listen to anyone’s coverage of The Mushroom Cook story, I believe from Australia, because no one would do it better than you

    Case Idea
Hi Stephanie, I am a big time fan and I have a case idea that is still going on right now but I think will be interesting once it’s done. I know it’s about a newborn’s death but in my town (Manchester, New Hampshire) someone put a baby in a pond at a park here after it died. The case is still ongoing and will most likely not be done for a while but I think it might be interesting.

I absolutely love this podcast! She has such talent! Her husband seems to ask the questions that I’ve just been thinking . The way she re-tells the stories is so amazing and definitely keeps you wanting to hear the entire story. Great Teamwork!

    What up with Disney???
Okay so… why is every dark case I’ve heard have Disney involved ā€œ and it all started with Disneyā€( ruby Franke) and ā€œshe got a new job at Disneyā€ ( daughter goes missing after snuggling with 37 year old step dad) omg Disney is evil??? Me and my family went to Disney for 7 full weeks staying at a hotel in California my uncle got a divorce and this guy broke in to our room we called the cops but still very scary this was all at the Disney land resort like anyone else getting weird vibes from Disney it’s like sexist Walt Disney is haunting families….!!!!

    I like Mr. Mango
Mr. Mango is the best part. I completely disagree with the previous commenters stating otherwise. I do wish he would talk a bit more, actually.

    išŸ’— rotten mango :))
i listen to these everyday when i get ready for school and i find them to be very enjoyable :) i think some of the lower reviews are not very accurate when explaining why they dislike the podcast, becuz 1. mr. mango is being told the stories, which is why he is quieter, becuz he is a good listener :) and 2. i do agree sometimes she can be a bit biased, like the criminal of the story is always the bad one, but not always because sometimes stephanie only has 1 side of the story to go off of, meaning she can’t really help but be on that side when things could be different for the other. i really really like that she does topics in other countries and not just america. i found her on youtube in like 2021ish from the ones where they make the food, and then i found this one and its my mission to finish all of them :)) anyways if u read this much than thanks for reading lol and literally slay stephanieee šŸ’—šŸ˜

1 Hour Of Stephanie Talking Interrupted By Mr.Mango Saying Thats Crazy
It’s still amazing though and Mr mango gets his time to shine in baking a mystery and moral of the story!

    Love it!
Stephanie has grown as a true crime youtuber / podcaster. I’ve been a fan of her for about a year.i found her videos off Facebook then YouTube then now this app. If you listen from her older post and now post you can tell how much more confident she is when telling the stories and I am so proud of her for that. I love how she covers stories from around the world and the US. Keep up the great work!!! As a military family my husband and I listen to her whenever we travel. And we’re always like ā€œ oh my gosh I think there’s a story on Rotten mango about this placeā€ lol Thank you!
  • corley2122
    Just makes things up.
She constantly makes things up doesn’t even take the time to see if 2000 calories is very little for a child to eat or not. Just says that’s not enough food with extreme confidence. Which in turn makes you wonder if the facts she states in these cases are actually facts or she is just making things up.

    Imagine
Listening to a podcast where you’re forced to listen a bunch of acronyms because these soft sentences of humans can’t deal with hearing actual words.
  • Thebestallycat
    This is ridiculous tbh
You guys (other reviews) need to stop bullying the ā€œco-hostā€ her literally husband what does it matter to you if he’s not putting anything towards the stories? He’s not in the podcast for us but for her… she basically telling him and us the stories if you don’t like it maybe watch someone else because he’s been in the videos for years. Thanks love rotten mango!!

    I love Stephanie soooo !!
I watched her from YouTube. And then I switched to podcast. Her and her husband are so funny. lol I’ve listened to almost all of her stories. And my goal is to finish it lol as an Asian American myself I can relate to some of the stories when it comes to the Asia countries. I think that’s what drew me to her YouTube. She covers stories not only in the US but also around the world. I’m currently on dialysis and she makes the time during treatment go by faster. Thank you to Stephane, her husband ( Mr Mangobutt) and her team.

Bring back the unheard of cases!
I love this pod & been listening for years. I love how it’s stories outside the US and dif cultures rather than the popular US ones. Lately it’s been mainstream & I wish she would go back to doing cases that are outside of US or not covered by other people /:

    The perfect podcast!
Stephanie is great at captivating my attention with the story she tells at the beginning. I appreciate the way she retells the events and the amount of research that goes into each episode. Her husband is also an asset as he says the things we’re all thinking and even asks clarifying questions.
  • Amy_246
    I loveee Stephanie!!!
You know when I listen to this podcast my mom tells me that isn’t it disturbing cuz it’s true crime and it’s scary but Stephanie make the true crime even better and she kinda makes it funny 😁
  • BriKitty88
    Love… but…
I cannot stand the overacting and dramatic monologues of every store. It makes it so difficult to listen to.
  • abbymck
Has good and not so good aspects
This podcast has good topics and dives into a lot of subjects I haven’t heard of, which is great. My biggest issue is that she states her opinion as if it is objective fact. There is no nuance or grey area, it is all black and white. Additionally, it can feel extremely judgmental and gives validity to internet trolls who leave rude comments by including them in the story. Commenting on the way someone puts food into their mouth as if it makes them a bad person is really gross and also contributes to fatphobia and food shame. I’m 20 minutes into episode on the TikTok mom and feel like the table is still being set for the episode. I don’t know where this is going, and not in a way that feels exciting. More wondering what the broader point is. I like her voice and don’t have a problem with the quiet cohost, I just wish it was more fact based and less about what she or the internet thinks about the topic or person.
  • She’s Swiss
    Never disappoints
Stephanie never fails to WOW me with the news’ stories she elects to cover. Her presentation is capturing. The stories are easy to follow no matter how complex the story. Above all, her reporting is incredibly accurate as I always follow up to learn more and look at images. I think Stephanie would be successful as a true-crime author. I highly recommended this podcast for mature audiences.
  • WalmartDisliker
    Cohost kills my immersion
Stephanie does a really great job at getting me immersed in the story than her cohost ask some really obvious question or says something dumb. I tried starting to watch from the earlier episodes and realized that. I later tried to watch more recent episodes and realized that it still persisted.
  • Laufey_Lover
    hooked
idk how you do it but I listen to you a lot, you give great reports on crimes.
  • bipipister
    Absolutely spectacular
I’ve been a longtime listener of Rotten Mango, and it never fails to keep me hooked! Stephanie does an incredible job of thoroughly researching each case while delivering the story in a compelling and engaging way. Her storytelling style makes even the most complex cases easy to follow, and I love how she balances the serious nature of true crime with moments of thoughtful reflection. You can tell she puts a lot of effort into making sure each episode is informative and respectful to the victims. I absolutely recommend this podcast to anyone wanting to dive into the psyche and story behind true crime.
