behdhhf5 starsI would just like to say how much I love listening to you! I work at a hotel doing housekeeping 3 days a week and I listen to you the entire time. I have listened to every one of your episodes so I’ve tried to find others that are as good as you, but I have yet to. What I end up doing, is re listening to one that you have already done. I also was wondering if you could cover the murder of Brenda Powell. I apologize if you already have. I looked but never found it. Thank you again for making my work days more bearable!

KSL2246Terrible narratingThe narrator is chatty and nauseating.. she keeps interjecting her opinions rather than just concentrating on the facts of the case..

Misty Mae MiddletonAmazing and captivatingKendall has a way with captivating and down to earth!! She share true crime stories with empathy and compassion. She keeps the stories real and honest. She has a heart for the victims and loves to give back to the families.

P**1981Electric Forest Festival100% the officer was correct when he said that everyone going to these music festivals goes to do drugs!! I’ve been to these festivals and I’ve never met sober people there!!!

ewhatsupwithyaShe needs to work on storytelling skillsHer eps are all over the place. Rants, background info, current details, etc. it’s a jumbled mess. Decent podcast but I wish she would work on her storytelling.

FlaMicheleSpectacular Suzanne Simpson EpisodeThank you for the spectacular episode recapping the Suzanne Simpson murder. I have been following this case via several different podcasts, but your podcast included several details that are new to me. I also enjoyed that you didn’t pull any punches calling a spade a spade with reference to Brad’s lack of character and compassion. I would like to see you cover additional episodes once the trial begins.

KitKatt32761Okay podcast but has issuesWhile I don’t mind this crime podcast, and like the host, the editing and writing is TERRIBLE. Too many times the host verbatim describes, say, an interview and then we listen to a clip that just says what the host verbally said and offers nothing in it being included. Like what is the point? Either just keep it stated by the host or the audio clip and move on. Audio clips are also oftentimes pointless in general and unnecessarily long to the point it’s confusing why it’s even included or meander or add little value. Not to mention many of the audio clips are so hard to hear, again, why bother? Many times the commercials are set at a way older setting than is needed. I swear, do these podcasters understand the English language? Wrong verb tense or wrong use of a word…it’s rather sloppy and embarrassing. And annoying. Maybe the visual format is more effective, which is what this podcast is based on—the audio version of the YouTube version. if so should be edited accordingly and not just slapped on a podcast. Lastly, the more recent years of this show has a TON of commercials. Literally 3 min of content then a bunch of commercials…seriously? Half of each episode is nothing but commercials. Again, an ok crime podcast and I do like this show tries to show the victims as people and not just about the crime—but I wish quality was important to these people.

ShaSha827Latest episodeYou didn’t actually start telling Nicki’s story for 15 minutes. All the fluff with “she just lit up a room” doesn’t need to go on for that long.

Kburr23My new go-to true crime podcastI have been listening to true crime podcasts for years, even considered starting my own, but this is the first one I have came across that goes on a deep dive about the victims before they were killed and I absolutely love that aspect. They deserve to be known for all they were not what happened to them and I believe it says a lot about Kendall that she focuses on that. I also love that Kendall is super respectful to all cultures, she never has passive digs, always stay neutral. I will be recommending this podcast to all my true crime fan friends.

MAAAADSUSLove it!❣️I don’t understand why people go on podcasts & complain about ads when… they can literally just skip them. The ads are the reason they can continue doing more episodes that they want to listen to in the first place lol Love it❣️
-
Gus SteadKen-dullKendall, your podcast was okay, but I unsubscribed when I heard you blatantly lying about gun registration in the “Bart Simpson” episode. What else do you lie about?
-
Melish TexWhats with the photo😂I like the show and I like the host, but what is with the Tinder style profile pic as your host photo? I want to listen to you talk about True Crime, not date you or join your only fans. Geez.
-
dbdusj ghfishchendExcellentI recently started listening. I enjoy the variety of cases, but the host is fantastic. This show will keep you interested

Sweet.Breee⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I love this podcast. I’ve been listening for years. Kendall is an amazing podcast host. Her voice is nice to listen to and she speaks fluently. Sound quality is on point. These episodes are actually researched and Kendall is extremely careful to not spread misinformation. I love the genuine kindness she has for victims’ families. Outstanding podcast hosted by an outstanding human.

zhoee14Love it butI love to listen to Kendall Rae. The only thing that turns me off is when she plays actual footage. It’s really distracting. I feel like I’m listening to a good story and then she plays the loved ones and I can hardly understand the static. I feel like it wastes time when you could just say it and it would be clear and I’d understand.
-
BeataenglertLove this podcast!I really love her podcast. So much better than many others out there and she doesn’t sound fake like she’s reading and being dramatic like on Crime Junkie. She sounds natural and so good at telling the heartbreaking stories. Highly recommended!
-
9twelveDisgusting“I’m not here to kink shame” after reading about an offender who was searching the ABUSE of TEENS and TEEN SA?!? Why WOULDN’T you shame him?!? Gross….
-
AbrunkStarted out strong, but…When Kendall Rae first started this series it was really good. You could hear the passion in her voice as she told us these stories. Within the last year, maybe two, it’s almost unbearable. It’s even hard to take it seriously. She even sounds like she’s boring herself. There’s no passion, nothing but frustration. I understand these cases are very frustrating, but don’t act like it’s a chore to tell the story. If that’s the case don’t bother podcasting.
-
Barbie FoxLove Kendall Rae!I came across her podcast on YouTube. I’ve only been listening for a few weeks. She’s excellent!
-
AvstelugaSame old stories and too many adsWe’ve heard all of these cases sooooo many times before. Kendal sounds completely unenthusiastic about them. And way too many ads.
-
jpopo101TerribleAwful person who uses these cases and exploits people and cases for personal gain
-
kaylaracineExcitementI love Kendall and her voice soothes me to sleep on a nightly basis. To say I was excited to see that she’s back from her much deserved break is an understatement. Love the pod and all things smile Higher. Highly recommend ❤️

HaL:))PodcastI love the new cover picture!!
-
__tabbycat__My opinionI enjoy this podcast and find the host’s voice very soothing, which makes it a nice listen. That said, many of the cases covered are well-known to those who follow true crime, and I’d love to hear more about lesser-known stories. I agree with other reviews mentioning the frequent ads—they do feel a bit excessive compared to other podcasts I listen to. Still, the content is engaging, and I keep coming back for more.

L.Bun99Love love loveLove the newest episode and the new profile picture!! ❤️

Xx HMFIC xXLeave out your opinionsI’m new to the show but a long time listener of True Crime Podcasts. You are a great speaker and the editing is awesome, one thing that makes this hard to listen to is your constant opinions and favoritism towards women. I have 2 daughters so I love empowered women, just please leave your opinions out of the story and just state the facts and witness accounts please. The show would be much better. Other then that keep doing what your doing!

Oakley Fight Club5 ⭐️ PodcastAbsolutely 💯 love ❤️ true crime considering earned both degrees in CJ, work in the field. She does a great job covering the stories, explaining/detailing the crime, covering facts/ evidence for the prosecution. She does a fine job being a victims advocate considering most CJ systems are not necessarily sympathetic towards those affected by crimes. Let’s help this podcast grow & go, spread the word for more subs, rate/review so we get more content. This is definitely a 5 ⭐️show strongly recommend.

SteSoMaOpinions and swearingToo many opinions! “My personal opinion” “I think” “he should’ve” “they should’ve” that and the swearing omg! I thought I would try a new podcast after coming from another one I have an hour drive from my house to drop y kids off at daycare and the amount of swearing I had to take it off almost immediately.
-
LJohnson2011Too opinionatedJust get to the story. I can’t handle how much time she spends sharing her own opinion and name calling. We all agree that they’re scum. Get to the story already.
-
Rakster124AmazingOne of the only truly ethical, victim centered podcast - and the work Kendall Rae does outside of the podcast is amazing. I’ve been a true crime podcast fan for so long and this one is so under rated - wish I could rate it even higher
-
Jesus nuggets 4 lyfeMercedes VegaPlease make sure to do an update on this case, as a suspect, has been arrested and is being extradited back to Arizona from Tennessee. The media is focusing so much on calling her an exotic dancer and forgetting to talk about all of the great things that she was that I feel like you could do justice for her by taking all of that negative energy off of her story.
-
goodshmokinToo many adsGreat show but so many advertisements!

Claire2028July 31Hello I’m a listener to this podcast. June 30, 2024 me and my family tragically lost my uncle from a ranching accident. He left behind his son (8 years old), his daughter (4 years old), and his unborn daughter. On July 31 of 2024 my baby cousin was born. I am so sorry for the family’s loss of what I know of this woman, she was a wonderful person. Jamie (if I spelled that wrong I’m so sorry) your doing so well and I’m so proud of you. I hope you have the time to grieve. I thought as a life has entered the world, we lost another so tragically. I know this murder happened a year or two ago but it still counts as something right? Rest in peace April

baroness4teaApril Holt ShowI love listening to this podcast and have listened to them all. The only one I found very boring was the episode titled above. It could have given pertinent info in a way shorter podcast.
-
ellaoh22New listenerStraightforward, well-told, and the host real/funny. Glad I found this podcast!

AntiliasNot bad, but there are some issuesI’ve been listening to this podcast off and on for a couple years. To be honest, it’s kind of my back up if my favorites aren’t available. And Kendall does a good job supporting victims and getting the story across, but I get the distinct impression that she really likes to hear herself talk. She has a habit of saying the same thing over and over. Sometimes it’s in the form of rephrasing the same thought three different ways and frequently it starts with “like I said”. There’s a lot that does not need to be repeated, and it tends to just drag the story out. I will frequently lose interest in the story about halfway because of this. I really want to like this podcast more.

CassiA17BuggLove thisListening to the newest episode about Amish Blanchard. This hits home because I lived in Auburn during that time. My hometown is 20 mins down the road. I still pass by where she was abducted all the time. I went to the same community college as her. This case rocked our community and it still does to this day. We will never forget. Rest in peace Angel. 💜
