My absolute favorite podcast on the planet

Brian’s commentary is not only spot-on factual, but he also has a voice that’s easy to listen to. The subjects at hand are interesting as can be, many of which I’ve never known of before. I only wish he had time to do more episodes, but with all of the NHRA work I understand why he can’t. There are numerous topics that I hope he CAN have time to discuss one day

Dork-o-Motive Podcast is literally the best, most informative, most fun podcast I’ve ever listened to, and I’ve listened to a lot. Brian gives us the history on things we otherwise would have never known anything about, and he does it with a passion you won’t find anywhere else. I like several podcasts, but I LOVE Dork-o-Motive.

Great stories about transportation history. Hoping there will be another episode on mixing aviation with the car. Maybe before the jet car. Like cars in the early 1900’s with Merlins. The heavy equipment episodes are great too. Thanks Brian for all the hard work you have done!

If you’re a gear head or a petrolhead or a fan of engines and horsepower you need to give this a listen. Brian Lohnes is an announcer for NHRA too fuel and a fantastic story teller. He has unearthed the rare and fantastical side of Autorama and all things engine here for you and me. Cannot recommend this podcast enough.
