I found your podcast a little while ago. I too enjoy a good bourbon. Rather than jumping in to the latest podcast I started at the beginning. I made it up to George Poteet. Great show condolences on loosing your friend.

I love this podcast but have to leave a mediocre review as I want to give zero stars over it. After hosting true fabricators and automative enthusiasts- you have Brendan Schaub on the show??? I can’t even imagine how much this poser must have paid you. Having a compulsive liar who couldn’t tell you the difference between a frame to a driveshaft on a reputable show? Sad.

I mean it’s named Oil and Whiskey, if that doesn’t do it for you then not sure what else to say. In all reality though, love this podcast. Great interviews and guests, although I think the best parts may just be the guys rambling or going after each other. If you stick around to the whiskey review (hopefully) like I always do, the best parts are usually around the time they assume no one is listening around. Except me and the couple Aussies! Keep it up guys.

I love this podcast, I haven't missed an episode. I always like hearing people give their “Best Advice You’ve Ever Gotten”, most of the time it resonates with mine that my dad gave me. “Don’t ever give up, there’s always a way.” Keep it up boys!

I listen to a lot of podcasts while writing, drawing illustrations, and editing photos for owner’s manuals and internal documentation for Revology Cars. I was looking for another good car podcast to add to my listening queue. I found the Oil & Whiskey episode with Ruffian Cars episode and was sold on the long-form interview format and the funny banter between Jeremy and Phil! A great Standard Questions list! I also enjoy the automotive guest selections. I’ll have to deep dive on the old episodes. Oil & Whiskey is a new favorite “Must Listen” - Tony Huntimer

Good insight and a great time. I feel like I’m at the table drinking and hanging out with the crew there. I’ll claim to be one of the three listeners that makes it all the way to the end. Keep up the good work.

I'm the other half of Brad- the owner of the two firebirds which Troy Gudgel (no R - silent, rolling or otherwise) from BBT built. After hearing you guys talk shop, go through pockets (which Troy had more s!@t than most women have in their purses), the comedy (technical tampons made me almost pee my pants), the banter, the whiskey, etc, your show will now be part of my entertainment during the day. Great show - great team - even if I can't tell the difference between a Gen 3/4 LS and Gen 5 LT....at least not yet! Ciao! Maria

These guys crack me up, my kind of humor and really like hearing the war stories and car talk. I’ve been in the industry for 16 years working for Steve Cook Creations and a lot of the guests are heroes of mine. It’s fun being a fly on the wall as they answer a lot of questions that I have. Look forward to each new episode and even dabbling in the whiskey world now

I’m a home shop builder and I’m finding it very interesting and inspirational to hear all theses story’s from top builders of how they got their start. It’s keeping me motivated and to keep pushing!

Pretty good podcast. I work in a collision shop and listen often while doing monotonous work. Guys are pretty funny and have a good sense of humor. I do wish there was a little more about cars and less about whiskey and knives. Maybe more about guns too. But that’s just my opinion. Keep it up guys!

Great Listen if your a Automotive enthusiast, it’s cool to get a inside look into some of the industry’s Top performers

I’m a newcomer in the industry and this podcast keeps my fire lit. I always look forward to Mondays in the shop but this just adds to it!

I found this podcast and thought I’ll give it a try. After that I was hooked. It’s now my first podcast of the week ( I’m a truck driver) definitely well worth a listen. And definitely brought back memories of when I was a chrome plater up there in Schaumburg Il. Definitely miss those custom cars.

The podcast has some really insightful content into the car building community. You can tell after listening that they have worked to get to the level there at. There a little ruff on the the guy wanting to start there own shop seems to be a common them with them and there guest but other wise a pretty cool listen.

I have been a fan of the Roadster Shop and the amazing work they put out. I love this podcast. Great guests with good insight into the industry. I look forward to each new episode.

Really nice to see a group of guys that enjoy what they do. Awesome guest so far and I’ve actually been able to connect some dots in the Hot Rod world. I own a small Rod Shop in Tx and have used your products and I’m very pleased with the quality. Nice to hear your prospective on the market.

Amazing podcast and guests!! Instead of glove box there should also be some kind of a segment where u guys talk about what’s new out there and what your trying new On builds. Or where the industry is going.

What a great show. Great guys, fantastic builders. They take you behind the scenes and keep you captivated. It’s real, it’s honest and let’s us all know how it is in the hot rod world. They ask all the questions and tell a-lot of the stories most enthusiasts want to hear. Keep it up guys!

FINALY SOMONE DID IT, and leave it to the RS guys to do it. A pod cast that has all the in site and stories I’ve been wanting to hear. I listen to a lot of pod cast in the shop and I have been searching for a podcast that had the focus on the shop owner. It’s nice to hear their stories and conversations about there shop, and their trials and tribulations. AMAZING! Thanx for putting this together.

Really great first show! They had me engaged the whole time not wanting to miss a word and listening to the struggles of the “internal artists” vs running a profitable business was a great section of the podcast. As a Chef, I can relate to that struggle first hand and having the right clientele makes such a huge difference in the direction that you can grow towards. These guys are genuine and I’ve experienced their hospitality first hand, being a “fanboy” and showing up unannounced, I was given a full tour of their shop. I am definitely looking forward to downloading the future shows!!
