    Opinions Over News
This podcasts reports completely unverified facts to push their agenda. It is very one-sided and opinion based instead of responsible news coverage.

    Great Local Coverage
Whether it’s something global or national that is affecting Ohio or something going on locally they do a great job! I find myself wishing I could join in on the conversations.

    Facts Optional
In the most recent episode I listened to, Chris Quinn seemed to be “surprised“ that a judge rightfully struck down OMB‘s disastrous decision to hold all federal spending. If Chris doesn’t know that Congress has the power of the purse, and the Impound Control Act prohibits the White House from spending money in ways that Congress hasn’t authorized, I’m not sure he has any business hosting a news podcast.

Chris, please stop talking over the others!
I enjoy the podcast and find it informative. I appreciate Chris’ passion on topics, but find it rude/frustrating when he talks over the two women speakers. Otherwise, I enjoy the podcast :)
  • Core-rupting my ears
5 for Lisa, Leila, Laura 2 for Chris
The way Chris speaks over and louder than others on the podcast is astounding. I stayed for their insightful input but the brashness of Chris makes it difficult to listen to many episodes. This sentiment was solidified when production was halted as a result of his health issues; there should be no reason informative programming should be halted rather than allowing the assignment editor to "guide" the discussion. Chris, your tone gives me anxiety.

    Great news source
I look forward to this podcast every morning. When they aren’t able to have it, I’m actually a little bit sad. Thank you so much for taking the time and doing all the research to get us clear and accurate news.

    Great news podcast for Ohio
I’m from Toledo Sandusky area but still find this podcast interesting and informative. Has a great flow and good interactions with coworkers.

    Keeps me in the loop!
These folks keep me up to date on the happenings in Ohio. I have to admit, I live 3 hours south of Cleveland, but I still find them relevant. I get sad when they are out for the day bc I’ve just gotten so use to tuning in daily. Thanks y’all!

    Eyes on Ohio
Thanks for this podcast. The visibility it offers into Ohio’s state government as well as daily-life governing choices & struggles of Ohioans is important - and not just to natives of this state. Insight and information gained can be a valuable tool in addressing our own state government’s function/disfunction. And how can we build a better functioning federal government upon a set of poor, crippled or corrupted state/local foundations?

    Dave Joyce
Dave is my rep and you’ve got him wrong. He comes across as nice guy but votes 95% with MAGA Rs, including Trump. Was he appalled by J6? Defended them to me when I wrote him about it. Did you not see him on the floor just before McCarthy’s 15th ballot for Speaker slapping McCarthy on the back and laughing with him? Sycophant to McCarthy? It was appalling. He should have been working with his own moderates and the Dems to vote in a decent R Speaker if he cared one wit about our country. So now he’s getting attacked. Boo hoo! No sympathy. Lay down with dogs and you get fleas. Lose the thought that “nice guys” should be voted in. Nope. They lay down and vote as ordered. He spoke up,on a Sunday show @ weeks ago to only back down 4 days later and be the lapdog he is. And now feels empowered to balk at Gaetz until McCarthy will tell him to back off. He MUSTNGO!

    Today in Ohio
This has become one of my favorite podcasts for news because it covers Ohio and Cleveland news, including what’s being talked about in the state house. Definitely recommend this podcast!

    State Rep. Loves the Pd
As a State Representative in Ohio I never miss this podcast. Chris Quinn’s sense of humor is great, his colleagues are enjoyable to listen to, and I enjoy their perspective on the issues. I hope more and more northeast Ohioans will listen to keep up on local and state news! BTW, love that bird! Chirp, chirp😉

    Taking a stand on Democracy
I found the podcast good , However when talking about the Boston rd interchange . It was said both cities would benefit from it . Not true the study they paid for clearly shows no benefit to Howe and 82 . All previous studies have shown no benefit to 303. Strongsville will be the only one benefiting considering they want to extend the Foltz parkway to Boston . This is from a previous article from Sen Pattons son in law “We have a huge stake because the whole point of the Boston Road interchange is to connect it to the industrial parkway,” the councilman said. “Our stake in the industrial parkway is a lot bigger than Brunswick’s stake.”

    What bird?

    That bird!
I find the sound of that bird so distracting. Can you find another place to record or to put your bird when you record?

    Tough truths of Ohio going-ons
Great Householder coverage and other Ohio news. I notice some negative reviews feel there should be “other side” views. Unfortunately there is a sad element of uninformed citizens that receive propaganda versus news that often includes outlandish conspiracy theories- that’s not responsible journalism to share this as opposing/ other views. I just wonder how one can exist in this bubble and not wonder why even international news opposes their narrow views?
  • Big Bragiole
If I could rate this zero stars, I would
Chris Quinn is a pathetic excuse for a journalist. He is an uninformed bigot dead set on ensuring everyone in Cleveland has to hear about his first world problems. Unfortunately for Chris, I’d bet their listener count tops out at about 5 per day. People won’t make the mistake of coming back to this twice.
  • tessalanna96
    1 star is too high
If you want to listen to an editor who likes the sound of his own voice way too much…boy is this the podcast for you. Completely unfair and biased journalism.
  • 7437-lock
Especially good for keeping up to date on Ohio legislature
And this legislature NEEDS the press to keep an eye on it that’s for sure
  • Mb4242
    Chris Quinn Ruins It.
Chris Quinn Ruins It. Reporters do their jobs mostly and report the news they’ve researched. Quinn is so so so far left that it hurts the show by him almost encouraging them to join him. Enough with BOTH extremist points of view.
  • PaulLovesTacos
    Long time first time
I’ve been listening to this show for a few years and really love the coverage. I especially loved the energy this last week from all of the ladies while Chris was on vacation. Keep up the great work!
  • Soulsizter
    Todays podcast was spot on
Loved the statistics and the discussion of foster care, children services, and trauma. Very well said. Thank you! More local news shows need to break this down.
  • davidjeffries
    Enjoyable!
Great podcast that really brings local and state news to life. I enjoy listening to the reporters give their opinions and show their personalities. The only negative is that the logo reminders me of the Chicago Cubs.
  • CLE Listener
    Nothing New
This podcast serves no other purpose than to be an outlet for “unbiased” liberal journalists to state their grievances with the world and to be a mouthpiece for Chris Quinn to drone on and on with his opinions about everything going on. MSNBC already mastered this concept, which started 25 years ago. This podcast is doing nothing more than trying (but not succeeding) in copying what they do.
  • Sean Paddy 94
    DISGUSTING
It is absolutely a disgrace that the editor of a major newspaper chooses childish hurtful and juvenile rhetoric when trying to report the news. I cannot believe Chris Quinn can morally resort to petty name calling that happens on a kindergarten playground. I’m further amazed his own colleagues seem to enjoy and support such awful behavior.
  • ThunderRoad07
    Best Ohio/Cleveland news podcast
Lisa has done the impossible; she has made Leila likable.
  • robinohio
    Each Day
Valuable information and thoughtful ideas about our city, NEO and the state. It’s now part of my routine. They really have a good mix of ideas, questions and smart down to earth talk.
  • Daniel ND
    Great info
Great way to stay informed about our local issues
  • CleverLandOhio
    Socialism posing as local news
Typical liberal biased team pawning off their with one sided view of politics as fact. Trump obsessed. If a triggered snowflake wants confirmation bias reinforcement, this podcast is for you.
  • Deliyah087
    Overly Partisan
I would respect “news” organizations like the Cleveland Plain Dealer a lot more if they just admitted their partisan bias. What a disservice to the uniformed public.
  • fp134
    Love it
Very informative and fun, I love all the different perspectives from the journalists. Would enjoy more guest spots from journalists to dig into their stories that are covered.
  • Boofer Deuces
    Very informative and engaging
I have listened to this podcast regularly for the past 20 months. As a Plain Dealer subscriber, I find this podcast provides additional depth to the stories covered in the newspaper and on- line at Cleveland.com. I have also learned how the editors think and plan to investigate and report on stories meaningful to us in Northeast Ohio. The discussion about HB6 and Ohio’s handling of the coronavirus have been particularly interesting.
  • SlimCed
Might as well listen to cnn
Bad podcast; I was interested in hearing about Gov Dewine possible primary yet the host starts the show about the potus “failed coronavirus” response which is a cnn/msnbc talking point. Deleted and unsubscribed. Need balance
  • HuffmanD
    Quality of podcast editing
Today was really bad. Please go back and fix it so it’s the quality podcast we all enjoy. Thank you!
  • Csb0104
Love the journalist but the host needs to let them talk
I enjoy this podcast for its coverage of local Cleveland news but the host, Chris Quinn, seems so rude or short with the journalist as they discuss their stories. I wish he was a more active listener.
  • SheriDH
    Good topical discussions
As a former resident of NE Ohio, I find this podcast informative. I like the perspective of the reporters too.
  • Future Jarhead Officer
    Partisan
Complete partisan hackery. No opposing opinions hard to detach the opinions from the news. Overall terrible.
  • Duncan Scott
    Great local coverage
Great podcast. Gives more in depth coverage for issues happening in north east Ohio.
  • owlxi
    Wanted to like it
Gives good info about city, I even like the format (they say it's new format), but really shows liberal leanings. . . would love if they had someone to push back or balance it out. I thought I heard they were looking for regular people to be on their opinion board. A friend applied, said they never heard back. Guess they don't want people who think differently from them?
  • Erikp57
    Too long
Why is each episode so long and why do they cover so many topics? It’s a slog. Cut this up into smaller bite-size pieces (maybe 15-20 minutes apiece) and then I’ll listen. I don’t want to sit through topics I don’t care about.
