I am actually stunned by this interview with George Packer. Rendered speechless save the occasional gasps and groans. Journalists owe it to the reader to dig for deeper truths, not gobble up and churn out whatever nonsense is being shoveled in their direction. I’m honestly embarrassed for Packer — to be this gullible and fawning. I’m in awe Tim held it together (5-stars for Tim). Agree 100% JD is a sociopath: Mean and physically, ethically and spiritually grotesque. And I’d rather roadtrip with a velociraptor in heat.

there are definitely some guests i do not agree with but that’s one of the things i like about this show. also Tim makes a good faith effort to steelman opposing viewpoints. If there was a true conservative podcast of this caliber (ie serious) i would gladly check it out. in the same vein i would hope some conservatives might be able to listen to this. you are not gonna agree with it but there are serious and good faith arguments made. take it for what it is: a source of opinions first and foremost.

Love the pod. Tim is an excellent host and interviewer, and I always enjoy the guests. My only minor complaint is that I miss the old theme song. Please bring it back! The new one sounds too much like the theme to People’s Court.

I love the truth the sarcasm and the humor. Sarah, Tim and JVL are informative and cover the stories that we need to cover. They aren’t talking 30 mins on Biden and what he did or didn’t do. Love you guys.

I like this show. Just listening to Pete B - it has reminded me of why the Dems lost, and will lose again. Bernie is right. there are no free and fair elections with the Democrats as long as they have super delegates, it's an elitist party. They do not know how to speak to the everyday person. They don't understand that their bureaucratic care speak does not resonate. people don't need to be managed. They need access to their own lives.

Complete agreement with Tim’s take on Vance’s character. Also, there’s no automatic virtue or vice in being from Appalachia or anywhere else. Opportunists and liars exist in all corners of our society.

This podcast is my touchstone, and Tim, you are a national treasure. Still, I hadn’t yet taken the time to write a review. I was compelled here now just to say— not everyone hates Jim Comey! I’ve loved him forever (even through the Hillary thing). I buy and believe his reasoning, and I think he is a stalwart and a Boy Scout, and someone who convincingly acts out of principle, honor, and integrity, even when the personal costs are high. I would give my right arm to live in the part of the multiverse where the entire government is staffed, top-to-bottom, by the likes of him. I’ve listened to this podcast for awhile now and it does offer many valid criticisms of Trump which isnt tough but keep in mind it does seem they (Tim Miller) are still trickle down Regan repubs. The last episode titled “Hamas sugar daddies” was the last straw for me. I didnt listen to the episode but yea go ahead with bagging Trump but nothing about an unabashed, out of control government who we ( Regressives and Dems alike) are sending the tools of destruction to. Also if your so outraged why dont you offer some fixes like who to contact and what to do. The more I listen it seems like this is performative politics for clicks. We can access this news easily, come at us with more than pearl clutching Tim.

Tim speaks to my soul on all levels. I love how he doesn’t shy away from real questions and real answers. And this episode with JVL was definitely the Goldilocks just enough moment. I laughed until I cried - at work in a very Trumpy world, and I don’t even care what everybody thinks. I love that Tim comments on current sports games, too. He’s totally relatable and snarky without being hateful. Love the show.

I have been listening to the show since day one. I have found much comfort in the words of Charlie and now Tim. Listening to show with JVL: Economic Tsunami is Coming I had so much anxiety I wanted to throw up. We cannot be the boiling frogs. No one is coming to save us. No one is immune to these outcomes. We are responsible! In an age of instant contact we need to be able to come together. I really am feeling like I am going to lose it but want to create something better instead. I am involved in a couple of initiatives but need to do more. If this episode didn’t make you hit the panic button what more is it going to take? The clock is ticking very quickly…

Tim is a pretty smart guy and I agree with him on most things. I wish he would take some vocal coaching classes. He has an annoying nervous laugh syndrome. He can barely get two sentences out without the nervous laughter. A frequent guest Bill Kristol has the same affliction. When they both are on together, it’s a nervous laugh Palooza. Guys your show would be a lot more entertaining if you would take care of this speech quirk.

Tim Miller always stands on the side of democracy. He brings the conversation and interviews that we need. These are horrific difficult times & we need ppl speaking the truth. We need for ppl to understand what is really happening. Tim Miller does a great job doing it. He brings facts and truth. He will also let you know what we can do during these times.
