Will always try to limit voices it feels threatened by. I tried to make a comment on their IG once and now my comment is hidden. Starting to get suspicious that the claims of toxic culture are true.

Every episode has challenged me to do just this! I am new to the community, but feel so much thought provoking thoughts with every episode. I get the amazing opportunity to hear Erwin in person on January and am truly anticipatory of the shift that will happen. Thank you for showing up in your authenticity, vulnerability and true glory of both your gifts!

Listened to a few episodes because it is listed under “Entrepreneur” and found it not only boring but extremely disingenuous. This is nothing more than religious doctrine masquerading as “entrepreneur.” Listener beware but also keep your kids aware from this sort of talk.

I love how Erwin and Aaron present their opinions but invite listeners to make their own judgments and research. They don’t always agree but show you can love through disagreement with anyone you interact with. I look forward to every episode as it is a great mix of faith and culture rolled up into one with transparency from Erwin and Aaron that reflects on their growth and struggles.

I really enjoyed this episode; it spoke to my heart, so thank you. I’m a newer Christian and I’m sharing my testimony tomorrow at both services at my church. I started listening to this podcast toward the beginning of the transition to Mind Shift. It is the #1 pod that I look forward to every week. Not only does this content add so much consistent value to my life/leadership/thinking, it has introduced me to so many other great thinkers. If you’re looking for a conversation that rocks the boat and forces you to think outside your echo chamber, subscribe and listen weekly. Take the time to scroll back and listen to the previous Mindshift conversations. The fluid topics and principles have become building blocks for my thought life. Any title that mentions overthinking is a great place to start.

Truthfully, no other podcast has captured my attention like this one has. I started with the Mosaic podcast(and still listen every week) and wanted more! So I searched Erwin and truly struck gold. Something about the wisdom intermingled with the rawness of family relationship (I feel like I’m hanging out with my family). It both makes me want to hang out with them in their kitchen and also inspires me to keep cultivating my relationships with my family and friends. I love how we get deep nuggets of truth followed by a funny family story or disagreement’s. Since I’m new here I’ve literally been listening everyday! I’ll be sad when I have to wait.

Love the discussions, both Christian and non Christian stuff. Love the way Erwin can look at and dissect things. Aaron has matured a ton over the last few years and has gone from battle ready to the just being at peace with where he’s at. Hopefully one day, my son and I can have these same talks. Comeback better than Beyonces country song! Keep it coming! Used to really love this podcast. Love both of their inputs but it seems that lately it’s just one big advertisement for their different stuff

I think I’ve listened to an episode everyday since finding this pod. Their discussions make me think. I love that sometimes they disagree and discuss until they come to some sort of resolution, bridging the gap between different generations thought processes.

I learned about the podcast only a few months ago and I couldn’t stop listening until I was caught up… these two guys, their content, their conversations, have become instrumental in the changes I am making in my life. I have been following Erwin since he was guest speaker at my then home church in early 2000 and was greatly impacted by the 2002 book Seizing your Divine Moment, and more recently, The Last Arrow! Great Stuff! Looking forward to Mind Shift release! Food for thought on Mind Shift podcast .. I enjoy the father son banter at the beginning of each episode. I feel the second episode was a little much for someone who might be jumping on this episode without context or listening to previous episodes of Battle Ready leading up to the transition. Update: November 22, 2023 Aaron & Erwin, You have definitely found a good cadence, and finally got guests! Congratulations! Food for thought.. I find the new length of most episodes 1-1.5hrs a little long…. Have you thought about splitting them up into two parts? This would also help with listener retention and give you double the content for each recording session.

I am a day one listener of this podcast since it’s Battle Ready days. Was my favorite podcast for years. Highly recommend archive episodes from the first few years. Since the change to Mind Shift, however, the podcast is often focused on self-promotion - the wisdom and insight from before are missing. I hope they are able to course correct in future Mind Shift episodes.

I realized the battle ready podcast was rebranded when I went to listen at the end of running a half marathon. How appropriate. Completing a big goal has always created a follow-up difficult transition period in my life to figure out how to increase to greater heights and greater goals. Aaron and Erwin relate this to so many important areas that directly apply to hungry and urgent leaders so we learn to die more to ourselves and live to our fullest potential.

Love the dialogue between them! It has helped me think through a lot of nuance with understanding culture and humanity along with keeping my faith strong. Thank you!
