    Must listen for Steel players
I recently discovered. Like the instrument, the episodes are ever-green. I started with the bigger name guests but maybe like even better the ones with players I didn’t know.

    One of a kind
If you know who b0b is then this is the podcast for you

    👌
I’m glad someone decided to make a podcast solely dedicated to pedal steel. There’s not exactly a surplus of interviews out there of some of these older, or even newer, steel players. I’ve really enjoyed the episodes I’ve listened to so far

The one show I love listening when on the road.
This is a great show to listen to, with great content and lots of information if you’re into the Pedal Steel Guitar world. I love it and enjoy it ever since I discovered the show. Keep them coming, Bryan.

    All Good In North Carolina
Recently purchased my first pedal steel ... I wanted to get a good foundation, so I started listening to all the pros on the Pedal Steel Podcast discussing their philosphy and tactics ... It has been a perfect for getting me into the circle and beginning my path. "Before you start anything, go talk (listen) to 5 professionals." Optimistically, Will

    Good stuff
My first pedal steel comes in next week and I’ve been listening to al of the available episodes n preparation. Good information for anyone interested in the instrument, the players, or just the music they made

    Pedal steel in traffic
I have thoroughly enjoyed a number of your pedal steel podcasts and will work thru all of them. Great for passing the time of my commute and I really do escape into the room with you and your guests, (I know you and your guests aren’t really in a room and yet, there we are). So please just keep doing what you are doing! Oh! Except for one thing. One thing I would change. Please, please, please write and perform an intro theme song on the pedal steel guitar! Or....with permission, use something existing on the pedal steel. I don’t know, “Rainy Day woman” comes to mind. Every time I start a new episode and the music kicks in I think I hit the wrong pod cast.... NASCAR, NFL....(btw I don’t listen to either of those). 😎 Otherwise, stellar!

    Best steel guitar podcast
Also I think the ONLY steel guitar podcast! Brian, please have the guests submit a lick to teach listeners something new! Or perhaps have some playing in the episodes like "No Guitar Is Safe" by Guitar Player. Please get Travis Toy and Lloyd Green.

    Wish there was more content!
Love the podcast and as a new PSG player this has been a super informative look at how tried and true players conceptualize the steel guitar. Please make new episodes!!!!

    Professional and Informative
Bryan does a fantastic job with this podcast. This is very well done and has a bunch of good insight. It's not often steel players get something like this to enjoy. This is very refreshing. Keep up the good work!

    Great for all PSG players!
I’ve been playing for about 4 years now and since Bryan has started this podcast I’ve been an avid listener. I live in NYC and don’t get to talk steel with many folks. I find his insight, reviews, and interviews encouraging and incredibly informative. I’ve picked up pedals, software, bars, and even lessons based on his reviews, interviews, and recommendations. I only wish he was able to put the podcast out more frequently. YOU ARE HEARD BRYAN! Keep up the good work.

    Great Job!
Having been taking lessons on pedal steel for about 2 years I still have a long way to go. Bryan's interviews are well done. I really enjoy hearing how others have started out and how they got to where they are today. Lots of great encouragement by everyone interviewed. Keep up the good work.

    Great stuff
Love this podcast! If you like pedal steel or play, give it a listen. Bryan can you do review of the Strymon El Capistan? I thought I saw on the forum that you recently got one. I'm currently using an MXR Carbon Copy. A good pedal, but I find it adds a little high end to my tone. I'm looking for good clean delay that doesn't effect my amp tone. I hear the El Capistan is pretty good. Anyway, thanks for the great podcast and see you on the forum and around town.

    Gear/tech and music!
Bryan does a great job of synthesizing his extensive skill as an engineer and musician in this podcast. Check out his great review of Riffstation as an example: he gets into the nitty gritty of using the software like any tech guy might, but kept the discussion relevant to how it may (or may not!) help you grow as a musician. I look forward to hearing more of these!

    Informative and well done
Bryan Daste's Pedal Steel Podcast was a fun discovery. I appreciated his insightful comments regarding the use of Riffstation as much as I enjoyed the general vibe he creates within the podcast. I will be eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Great insight and in depth info!
Bryan does a great job combining his skills on the steel with his knowledge and understanding of audio engineering and the latest tools available. The show is a great way to get into steel or to learn new techniques and get inspiration from a seasons player!

A New Refreshing Podcast for Lovers and Players of Pedal Steel
Bryan Daste has a great presence and is very easy to listen to. The product review for Riffstation was very detailed and it was great to hear someone with a working knowledge of the product give their likes and dislikes and the time spent with the examples of the various tools within Riffstation were really great. The interview with Matt Buetow was in depth and a great start to the interview process. With Matt being newer to playing, it was refreshing to hear how supportive the music industry is for people of all levels of ability and truly inspiring to hear that a podcast such as this is determined to show respect to everyone interested in learning to play - not just the seasoned Steelers. Congratulations, Bryan on your first podcast. I look forward to hearing more.
