Outstanding, permission-giving, freedom-making sex ed podcast. Perfect blend of radicalism, history, social theory, science, interviews, divinity, and skill-building. It matters to me a lot that hosts Chris and Charlotte are parents and have faced illness—their work is so grounded, so textured, and so beautiful. Must listen. My favorite episode is “What is sexual freedom?”

I have been following Chris and Charlotte for some time now. I love their podcast and just recently I also started their online “All Access Bundle”. To say that it is life changing it’s to say the least. It has helped me take my sex life to the next level, it has empowered me, and given me a confidence I really needed. My partner is just as excited as I am about this course (pun intended!). I highly recommend checking out both their podcast and their online courses, definitely the best you can find out there!!

I’m 22 years old and have always had a sexual passion for as long as I remember. I have spent a long time longing for a relationship or connection where I can explore and we can learn each other, and be open for play and pleasures. Although I have had very little time having someone else to be like this I have for a long time worked on “filling the bucket” as you’d say, however solo I can only get a small fraction because I love conversations and talking so your podcast has helped a lot with my desire to learn and I hope to become financially able to support your classes and continue my erotic journey with you two! Great podcast. Can you up the volume a little bit my truck is loud.

Please try to be more trans-inclusive! Inclusive of non-binary AND binary trans folks. The hymen episode gave me dysphoria. Say “assigned female at birth” or AFAB instead of “female body”; that would be so much better! Also, we (trans men and AFAB non-binary trans folks) aren’t women, but those sexist ideas still get pushed on our bodies, because many of us have vaginas & don’t get bottom/lower surgery. Anatomy doesn’t determine gender, and I just feel like that wasn’t totally acknowledged (in that episode specifically).

Updated review: Three years later and still loving the pod. In addition to being a wellspring of knowledge, I'm constantly floored by the clear articulation of ideas in the show. I very rarely feel like I'm listening to a highly edited piece of audio, and neither do I feel that I'm listening to anything that should have ended up on the cutting room floor. The quality of production and performance matches the quality of the content. Review from 2016: The ladies are a delight, I love their frank discussion of sex of all sorts. I'm working my way through the backlog, can't wait to hear more!

Intelligent discussion about pleasure and helps to shift your mindset towards a more sex positive outlook. I learn something new with each episode. It’s also nice to go to sleep to with a sleep timer. Their voices are so calming/relaxing.

Show was great when it started, just information packed show and sensible. Eventually became agenda driven where every podcast has a spin on a patriarchal society that has suppressed females. Stick to providing information and common sense sexual issues and drop the agenda.

They have great chemistry on air and make the topics approachable and often inject humor and encourage listeners to explore new erotic territory without taking themselves too seriously. I have learned so much from this podcast and think it is an amazing resource for anyone (single, coupled, otherwise) who is looking to deepen their understanding of human pleasure.

This is an amazing, permission-giving, body-positive, self-valuing, validating podcast! Chris and Charlotte do a great job of talking about the feelings behind sex and the mechanics of the physical aspects of sex in an inclusive way. I don't know how I stumbled on it, but I'm glad I did.

With any question asked by a listener they come across informative and directly. They don't make you feel embarrassed as they are like teachers explaining their reasoning and techniques on how to relate to your partner and overcoming your own mental blocks or inhibitions. Keep up the good work!!!

I really like this podcast. My wife and I have been married for a while and we wanted to try to spice things up. I tried some of the other podcast, but in an episode they spend half the time just talking and then answer questions. These are short, but informative, and if you like the idea, they put great resources in the notes. My wife and I listen to one each day on our way to work and then talk about it after we get the kids to bed.

Chris and Charlotte, the hosts of this podcast, are phenomenal sex educators who will tackle any topic, no matter how taboo it is (or at least you think it is!). That being said, they are remarkably accessible even for more people seeking just improved "vanilla" experiences with their partners. They are great for answering questions submitted. I would recommend it to anyone. Top notch!

I could have saved thousands on therapy bills if I'd discovered this podcast sooner. What a gift! Chris and Charlotte touch on such a fabulous range of topics, and bring to each their unique blend of humor, compassion, insight, and genuine passion for sex and pleasure. I am learning so much about my body and my partner's body, and so many new wonderful ways to bring both of us more pleasure, and to more fully experience the pleasure we're having. For people who have struggled with recovering from trauma or have had a hard time feeling normal or enjoying sex, this podcast just might be the key, or at least help you find the keyring. And for ANYONE looking to learn more about how to achieve bliss in the bedroom, cue up an episode that strikes your fancy, and dive in to the pleasure!

So hey guys! I'm listening to this podcast because I'm interested in taking a real stand in terms of my sexual life. I'm tired of flopping around, and letting other people define how my sex life is supposed to go. So, I'm 2 episodes in, and I already feel empowered! Chris and Charlotte are such a dynamic duo. Their interest in sex goes deep and broad. Not only are they able to dive into the details of sexual skills like good "mechanics," they also can talk in depth about the emotional and spiritual aspects of sex and sexuality. When I listen to their passionate and playful discussions, I feel their good intentions and love pouring forth. This podcast has helped me to have a more profound appreciation for what pleasure is and can be-- it has the power to take us to other dimensions, as well as the power to help us feel more deeply connected to each other in this world.

I alays learn something from these intelligent and thoughtful women. My only complaint is that I wish the podcasts were longer. I'm always disappointed when they end. They al always worth the time I spend with them each week.

You can't go wrong with these two. Been listening to them for years. They are passionate about educating listeners about sex in all its forms. They are compassionate, respectful, personal, and live what they talk about. This is more than quality information. You will, in the end, feel that they are your friends. You can imagine talking with them, completely open and honest about any sexual topic, and not only would they welcome you but make you feel accepted. This is a rare find.

Chris and Charlotte do a great job of breaking things down to their simplest parts, providing great common sense solutions to tough problems. What stands out more than anything for me is that they are non-judgmental and inclusive; it is about people, not about parts. Every episode has something for everyone, straight, gay, lesbian, bi, or transexual. And I love the give and take between them. The episodes with just Chris or just Charlotte are missing the energy that comes from the interchange between the two of them. Listen to every one of their episodes. and then start over and listent to all of them again.

What a great show. informative, well produced and always interesting

I sampled several different podcast series on "how to improve sexual intimacy..." I believe Chris & Charlotte strike a fabulous balance of their own scholarship, professional and personal experience along with guest experts and listeners' questions. They manage to make incredibly intimate topics open for frank discussion and explanation. Congrats to them for striking a balance that makes listeners comfortable while also encouraging them to expand beyond that comfort zone!

This is a phenomenal podcast. It is fun to listen to, interesting, and informative. I love listening to various sex and relationship podcasts, and this particular one is my favorite. At first, I was a little bothered by the frequent mention of the online courses this lovely couple offers, however I have gotten past that and now I look forward to when I get to take them! These two women are very educated, and have something to offer anyone who takes the time to listen. I have learned a great deal from their podcast, and have greatly enjoyed sharing it with my husband. Our conversations frequently touch on things we have learned from this podcast, and I’m excited for every chance we get to explore what we’re learning. Charlotte and Chris are very adept at staying on topic, and listening to them interact with each other is a pleasure.

Speaking of Sex is easily among the world's top ten greatest podcasts. Even top five, maybe. When it comes to sex advice, this podcast is the finest widely-available "periodical" in the English language, in any medium. This podcast's hosts are named Chris and Charlotte. They virtually always present information in an accessible, practical way. Likewise, they always focus on how real sexual pleasure is best achieved by real people, in light of any relevant emotional or medical concerns. But what's truly impressive is that even without relinquishing their plain-language/no-bull style, Chris and Charlotte reveal themselves as dynamic advocates for change in our cultural ideas about sex. In other words, they serve not only as coaches to help us personally attain more pleasure, but also as analysts to point out root social or psychological causes of common sex problems. This is important because we listeners frequently need advice not just on techniques; but on attitudes, expectations, and even general facts regarding what sex is. An episode called "Shattering the Greatest Myth", from mid-2014, is the epitome of what I'm trying to explain, about how ambitious and special this podcast is. My only tiny suggestion for improvement would be to expand the "show notes" within the iTunes subscriptions, with references for further exploration, for each episode. I would appreciate those notes, even if the references are very informal and even if it means cutting each episode's length in half, to give Charlotte and Chris time to compile the notes.

I just started to listen to it and its like a tv serie on Netflix i never get bored N always want to listen more. Excellent program very instructive and knowledgeable by the end i think i am gonna start to listen to it again and take notes. There are so many excellent topics N tech. They are just EXCELLENT i never thought i could enjoy it so much.

Seriously, there are so many podcast that try to provide some of the where, when, how and why of creating sexual pleasure it’s a crowded field. I will stick with Charlotte and Chris as a main source of information and branch out from there. With a no nonsense, concise, sometimes funny and always understandable delivery of the information I’ve enjoyed any topic they choose. For me they are effective and efficient in providing sexual education and they’ve always added to my knowledge just sometimes more than others. I always come away with something new. Whether it is a technique, a certain perspective or simply suggestions about what to try to illicit a particular outcome, they always deliver something useful and occasionally thought provoking..hmmm. A gift and thank you ladies.
