So I’m late to the game because as a working parent, I’m late to most games. However, as soon as I listened to episode 1, I realized this is basically the soul of this show. Liam and Sam are honest about their audience and content, which I love, almost as much as I love their honesty about work, parenting, and life. Some podcasts are polished through some sort of filter intended to showcase perfection; if you want that type of podcast, you don’t deserve “All Work And No Play”. This one is for the people who want to exist in humor, wit, and sincerity about the delightful chaos that is life without the commitment of anything more than pure than Sam and Liam’s friendship. And the fact that it happens once in a whenever makes it even more appealing to the child of the 80s and 90s who’s just trying to make it through the day. Mostly, their friendship is the most genuine thing to exist, and as a result, is the heart of this podcast. So if you have one better half like these two do, you will appreciate everything about this show for exactly what it presents as and more. And if you want a moment of respite from life’s usual miseries, tune in to this dose of joy.

This podcast has made a journey. It started as just a conversation between friends, a place to catch up. It is still that conversation, but it is now much more as well.

I’ve never been happier to form a parasocial relationship. I listen to these guys when life gets to be a little too much and they help to center me and remind me to relax. Super grateful that they started doing AWNP UNP-ed for quarantine. It helps.

Love this podcast. Liam and Sam are great together. They feed off of each other so well. Makes me laugh out loud and keeps me entertained. If you want a podcast just for some great tomfoolery and a few laughs. I highly recommended it.

Any fan of basic nerdom or Critical role will enjoy this wonderful bromance and the early look before the infamous D&D game happened. Such a big fan!

This is my favorite podcast on Itunes. My only complaint is that i need more, but as the title says these guys are all work. When a new episode posts it's a rare treat!

Great podcast

Malaysian listener here--very fun podcast. Wish it updated more, but the whole point of it was to get two busy friends to hang out more, and they're hanging out on a weekly basis with another project now (and Critical Role is amazing, so I'm not complaining.) Absolutely worth checking out if you're a fan of Sam and Liam. If you're looking for general VA industry info...you'll pick up some broad themes, but this podcast doesn't focus on the gritty details.

Very entertaining, a joy to listen to

I discovered these guys from their weekly D&D show on Twitch, "Critical Role." I love the show so I wanted to give this podcast a try, and I'm really happy with the content. Liam and Sam are both really entertaining and it's great that they're taking the time to connect with their fans.

If you’re looking for VO/VA advice or inside info about the business, Liam & Sam do a good job of telling you right off the bat that you won’t get that. This type of podcast - just a couple friends sitting around kvetching and talking nonsense - is right up my alley, but it might not be up yours. Still, definitely give it a try - the amount of fun these guys are having talking with each other is worth listening to.

It's a great podcast to listen about the daily lives of your favorite VAs! Their friendships and crazy adventures are very hilarious!

But I'm still waiting on the Drunk Quest ep. Seriously, that would be awesome.

Funniest thing ever!!! I love how you guys have fun making fun of yourselves. It shows people that laughing at your faults or things that embarrass you is better than keeping them inside causing you to feeling bad about yourself. Very inspirational. Also hilarious!
