And I used to love this pod but recently it has truly turned into the self indulgent male comedian hour, where humorless male C listers are given free reign to talk entirely about themselves. An hour of Brendan Walsh regaling in being arrested for having brass knuckles at 16, which you can tell he thinks is so cool even still. Please return to a Chelsea-first, caller-first style!!!!

… thought this pod was not a great fit for me despite me being a fan of hers. I didn’t really *get* the sound effects. BUT THEN. She was on Conan’s pod and it was a fun listen, so I thought I would go back and check hers out. So glad I did, because despite some of the abruptness and jumping off track, Chelsea’s warmth comes through. You feel like she is genuinely having a good time. If you’re skeptical, start with an ep that has a guest on it. Paul Scheer’s and Tim Heidecker’s are good ones.

I tried listening for the first time but just can’t get over the editing. Are they trying to fill up time? It’s beyond annoying and feels like something a tweener would do. Grow up and knock off the annoying repeated sound bites.

I love that I sometimes don’t know if a commercial has started or there’s just a cool remix playing 😎

I was so happy to find out that Chelsea’s podcast was returning and it is as delightfully silly as ever! Chelsea’s irreverent humour can make even the dreariest of caller interactions entertaining. This is an excellent accompaniment to a long drive. If I were to rate this on a Chelsea Peretti food test scale it would get a solid “good”.

my favorite pod. She influenced Tim heidecker to start Office Hours. She’s one of the greats in our world. Grateful for the sincerity and lack of sentimentality. Listening on a surf trip in baja at the moment

As a long time listener of the pod, I believe Chelsea has become at least 5X kinder to the callers even though they don’t always deserve it. Maybe I’m a little meanie at heart but sometimes the hang ups make me laugh SO HARD. And she’s 1000% correct to hang up like 90% of the time.

So few podcasts are funny anymore (Pete Holmes’ podcast is now a sermon when it used to make me laugh 😪) But CCP makes me laugh out loud and her most recent ep with Natasha was perfection. We love you Chelly P!!!! P.S. please have Jordan on for a “GARLIC” sequel.

This is the most ridiculous and hilarious podcast. Chelsea reaches a niche area of my comedy interests. So glad I found this, you can’t be in a bad mood listening to this

I love Chelsea’s brain and humor, haven’t encountered any similar comedians or podcasters but god I have started and had to turn off so many because the guests can’t finish a thought or sentence without being cut off, you guys are talking about interesting things but I can’t follow at all, Pete Holmes as the most recent example of this, I like the stream of consciousness nature to some extent but if it was just reigned in a tiny bit this would be incredible

Original CCP already had it all - the laughter, the tears, the highs, the lows. This reboot with the added focus on sound design is everything I never even knew I needed. Thank you!!
