Better than the original

It’s so disappointing to see Phil afflicted with TDS. What was once a great radio show and later podcast has been ruined by his extreme political views. Phil is so woke now he got rid of all the characters that don’t look like him….weird.

Phil is an International radio treasure that needs to be heard. If you want to forget about the insanity of the world for a half hour and laugh so hard you may cry then this is the program for you.

Phil always has a brilliant funny show.

I was really excited to be a member of the BSP but just canceled because of lack of any tech-support and trust me it’s needed. Their website is filled with glitches.

I started listening to Phil in his Miami days. Back then he took live calls and I admit it took me quite a few days to figure out what he was doing but that is the level of genius that he brings to his show. I lost track over the years when he left Miami but always missed his show. When I saw that he was doing podcast I tuned in and again, was immediately hooked. If you cannot appreciate the sheer brilliant insanity that lives in Phil’s head then you will never get his show. I for one am a devoted fan.

Hey Philk, what happened to your black characters, Robert, Mavis, and that reverend guy, that you made money with for decades? Maybe you should donate a portion of the millions you made while culturally appropriating, to BLM. You’re a disgusting, fat, unfunny, woke clown

It’s been twenty years since listening to my first Phil Hendrie show and he still astounds and entertains me daily. Just watched the Hendrie Documentary and was inspired to memorialize my admiration and devotion in a five star review. I’d give 100 if I could!

I’ve listened to Phil for decades at this point. First on LA radio and now online and simply put, the man is a genius.

Endless promos for a worthless BSP. Little to no effort put into the show. A once great show and talent, is now garbage. Phil is a leftist, infected with Trump Deranged Syndrome. He’s nothing more than an angry, old man that hates his audience. One would have thought that with his relationship with Jackie, as well as consistent voice over work, that pays him handsomely, he would be happy. Rather, he hates his audience more than ever and his show reflects that. Update: He just announced that he’s still wearing a mask…what a douche!!

Reruns, best offs , that’s all in last 4,5 years , great shows were back 2014-2016, now it’s sad

I just found Phil on Podcast! I use to listen to him on KFI then one day he wasn’t there anymore. But thankfully he’s here! Must listen funny and wow factor that he does all the voices. Awesome! 😁

I love and miss this style of comedy

I’ve been listening for over 20 years, best comedy on radio and now podcast! Absolute comedic genius! If you don’t agree with his politics, just don’t listen to those episodes. You don’t have to agree with something to find it funny, learn to laugh at yourself at little.

Been listening for decades now...he and his cast of characters are incredible. Seems in recent years the show has shifted from primary callers to more of a back and forth among characters. I preferred more callers but i would imagine you’ve got to change it up every now and then. The show is still the best though...wish it was on Sirius XM. Wish i could find that episode with the Church of the Living Waters. I nearly drove off a mountainside I was laughing so hard. Come to think of it this happened several times :)

First found out about this show on a random station one late night on a drive a few time well over 10yrs ago. Been subscribed to the podcast for awhile now it’s great, Phil is so creative!

Ted invented the aluminum wrapped potato.

Howard stern desperately attempts to copy Phil Hendrie , but unfortunately for stern , he only has a fraction of Phil’s level of talent and skill.

Some of my favorites are Elcott the next step, Jay Santos of the citizens, auxiliary police, Steve Bozell and his antics and I love listening to Larry Grover and his mother Gloria. Phil is amazing and comes up with so many funny characters.

Always look forward to a new or rerun episode Love the names of his characters and all their quirks . I wish he would stay away from all politics, Can’t get enough of Gloria Grover. It is a marvelous experience when ever I hear the show. Thanks for the entertainment

Select episodes are priceless but not worth a subscription plus the “thousands of hours” advertises are mostly multiple reply’s of past shows. Plus the BSP website is poorly constructed and inconsistent on format and content.

Hello Phil, I used to tape your shows on cassette when you were on KFI in Los Angels. Where can I get a copy of the Super Bowl Package with Ted Bell giving tickets away and egg salad sandwiches. I must have played that 100 plus times

The need to insert liberal political views into a comedy podcast is sad but expected. Great talent but the personal views being forced into the shows are not what people want to hear, as we listen to comedy to get away from that stuff…

Excellent bit of podcasting. Phil is a comedic genius. The funniest satire I’ve ever heard . Keep up the great work.

Have listened to Phil for 20 years and loved this show until the belly laughs stopped. He had to take many of his best characters offline because of wokeness, even Robert, so he only does white, straight characters. He seems to have lost his taste for the absurd. It’s basically prairie companion level sedate with impersonations. Shows are extremely short now. And the really incredible episodes like Bob Green Today have now evaporated. He needs to pull some old characters out of the dust like the guy who could only lie and try to scam people. I think he’s lost interest at this age and is in effect retired. Sad, I used to laugh so hard I would cry, now I think I am listening to lake Wobegon. The 3 rating is for old times sake and maybe hope of hearing something funny

When there are a bunch of trump fluffers whining about Phil’s politics in the reviews, it makes one wonder how they ever understood Phil’s satire in the first place

Getting worse

Phil Hendrie is the best comedy ever. Lately there are more and more repeat shows from within last year or so and ao we are listening to same shows over and over again. Not much new material is coming. What is going on Phil ? Are we done with this ? Nobody is going to pay for repeat shows. If you cannot make new shows anymore at least okay from last 20 years on random basis - one hour everyday. Not repeat over and over again same shows. They are funny once or twice not 20 times. That is why you have lost one star so clean up your act soon

Yes ive been a fan since forever but even though its the best podcast show ever it's irritating how Phil constantly promotes his bsp saying its only .39 a podcast like he does a new show everyday. He doesnt. 5 or 6 days a week its a recast. 1 or 2 new episodes a week maybe. Hey Phil, at least porn has new stuff Everyday.

I've always been amazed that a show like Phil's is even possible. Always something to laugh out loud about. Easy to suspend disbelief even when things sometimes get meta.

Phil should definitely keep his politics to himself. I’ve listened to him for 20+ years, I think he’s a one-of-a-kind comic genius, but the show sadly has become either repeats or short 30 minute bits of asinine political commentary. Not renewing my BSP, and I will miss Phil of old.

The Voices of Walter Schumann has changed my life.

I’ve been listening to Phil since early 2000’s back on AM radio. Kept me laughing, therefore awake during a graveyard shift, thereby keeping me alive, while operating heavy equipment on a live freeway! What he does is revolutionary, groundbreaking and possibly a little bit insane? But he is the most talented comedy artist ever! And seriously, I attribute his show, one fateful night, to keeping me alert, when I would, ordinarily be very drowsy, as a result, enabling me to prevent a potentially fatal accident! So yeah, I think very highly of Phil Hendrie, to say the least! Also love this Catscapes one episode Phil does almost a feline version of Bobby Dooley call-in. Hilarious!

I miss the irate callers, but his characters are top shelf. So glad I found this. Either you get Phil or you don’t .

When I listen to this show I have to hear an ad for big pharma and it’s completely tone deaf. Please, for the love of God, drop this ad campaign.

I work the noc shift as a hospice nurse. The only thing that makes me giggle in the dark is Hendrie.
