CJ Omg all Names TakenQuick witted fun with a dabbling of "probably" scienceLove these guys! I first saw Andy Wood on Jeopardy back in 2020 and just fell in love with his calm voice along with his humility and intellect. When he mentioned a podcast I immediately tuned in and found Matt and Jesse just as adorable, quick witted, humble and smart! What a fun trio of friends 😀

Mel CavendishMixing my two favorite podcast subjectsI love your podcast. It’s the perfect blend of my love for humor and science

CambriamavenGreat and amusing discussions of science and cultureThis podcast is good enough to prompt me to actually write a review. It's where I actually learned about LIGO and gravity waves in one show and utterly absurd pseudo-science and stand-up stories in the next. They host They address current issues, reading recent science-y news articles and then discussing with their guests, who are usually scientists, comedians or both. Not a lot of nationally known names, but I can hear those folks anywhere. Their guests are always interesting and smart. Subscribe now- if you didn't subscribe after reading the first sentence of this review. (edit) I recently went back into the back catalog and listen to some to I recently went into the back catalog and listened to some early shows. I find myself laughing out loud at least once an episode and grins every few minutes. I was obliged to become a dedicated listener the moment Andy mentioned Sigue Sigue Sputnik. No one else I know has ever heard of this weird 80’s electronica band. I owned their album on cassette and 21st Century Boy and Massive M-M-Massive Retaliation were doing etched in my brain by the second-hand clove smoke. Well done. Keep making more, please.

AmbiverbalInsights into comedy and scienceListening to Matt, Andy, and Jesse is informative about both general science and the anthropology of stand-up comedy work.
-
Haiku N8Return of the JAlways a good show but never the same without Jesse “The Brief” Case. Great that he’s back!
-
Miti33Long time fanWooo! So happy that Jesse is back (and healthy)! Love this show.
-
MikeTheSuckerLove funny scienceThis podcast makes me want to blow stuff up in the woods with my friends!
-
Avan980Miss Jesse and brooksBut also love Andy and Matt it’s rare to find a group of people on a podcast that all have likable personalities and seem like genuine people thanks for all the laughs and science facts.

wren6903Dana Eagle FAF!Best one yet... y'all were on a roll.
-
MoonovrMissouriBest of all worldsFunny, witty, and a little learning all goes on in this well produced show. Some times they go down rabbit trails which is actually when some of the funniest moments happen. Not only are the hosts incredibly entertaining, but they also get some awesome guests. The guests are sometimes comedians or scientists I’ve never heard of but typically I end up bingeing all their content after the episode.
-
Rough World4.5 stars for being interesting! And 5★★★★★✓ for expanding in such a wide range of topics. I have to say that I can’t listen as fast as I used to do, but it’s fun to have new topics and (but) often a very cursory appraisal. Dire wolves?! Psilocybin!? Sexy-Tesla... Overton Windows to Puckle Guns. Sometimes the excitement runs away with the discussion, but it’s good to be passionate about discovery. Overall a fun podcast and I recommend it
-
VeronicaisreadingMy go toThis show has been my go to for years now. I always get antsy if it takes a little longer than usual for a new episode to go up. I want a merch for this show.
-
f**k jeopardyStop talking about jeopardyGenerally enjoy this podcast but I’m sick of hearing about jeopardy. The one star remains until they stop.
-
LockJahFantastic PodcastI always have a blast listening to this podcast. I recommend this to all people who enjoy fun banter and intriguing science. Keep up the awesome content!!

Too legit to spitI probably love this showIt makes me so happy as I plow though the back episodes. This is the perfect blend of uplifting hilarity and a kick in the pants to get back into science. Matt sounds like the perfect blend of nerdy, British, Jewish adorability. Brooks just ditched us 🤨. Jesse makes the whole thing so much better musically and in general, gotta love that snark comedy. Then there’s Andy... oh Andy, so affable, such the lovable oaf, thanks for all the laughs as you do mental kick-flips under the bus for our amusement.

ListenerFriendSoul BalmAndy T Wood is a great swimmer! He saved my son from a raging river. He makes love to mermaids. Like a gentleman. Matty Kirshen studied Maths! That’s more than one math. At least two maths! Maybe even three to four maths. You never know with that guy. Come for the shenanigans stay for the science.

MikeanneFunny and InterestingI heard about Probably Science a while back and took forever before I finally started listening to it. I regret waiting so long! I listened to one episode and was hooked. I have enjoyed it so much that I started at episode one and am currently listening to every single episode. It is definitely worth the listen. I consider myself a science enthusiast and this podcast hits that along with bringing the laughs.

Annie from OCSmart, funny and insightfulJust listened to the Neil DeGrasse Tyson episode and gained a new level of respect for these guys. Podcast is smart, funny and insightful. The guys are great interviewers and I actually learn while being entertained. Keep up the great work!
-
DavyjonesrealboyFunny and InformationalThese guys are great!! They have different guests every show, supply sciency articles, and discussions using their funny bones. First podcast I’ve supported $$$ and haven’t listened to any other podcasts since Matt mentioning PS on Jim Jefferies Podcast.

Zombie541Chill atmosphere and informationalI recently started listening to this podcast. Realized I like the chill atmosphere and recent science news. I started the podcast over from the first episode and am making my way through. I’m currently on episode 132 and I can’t get enough of it. I highly recommend this to everyone and all my friends. Great listen 5 stars!

samuelnathanrichards. Most looked forward to podcast in collectionOf all the podcasts I listen to, Probably Science is my most looked forward to. Perfect for not only passing the time on the commute, but learning heaps along the way too. Can't recommend it enough.
-
ToastFrenchScience told by comedians..of course it's goodI found this podcast by accident randomly and now it's my favorite. It has just enough humor and just enough of "the more of know" in it.
-

hachimamatvIt appeals to my funny bone as well as my need to sound intellectually superior to othersPlease don’t ever stop
-
annythingyoucandoWonderfulI've listened to every episode and they are all hilarious. The hosts may get off topic, but it is always entertaining and educational. I hope they keep this podcast going for years to come.
-
JmagnificentGood blendThese guys mix together interesting stories in science and comedy in an informative and often hilarious way
-
CleepowKeeping my in the knowGreat funny podcast keeping me abreast with science.
-
Cmr4gymSuper funnySometimes episode are more probably and sometimes episodes are more science but they always make me laugh. They do a great job of making science funny and communicating it to the general public!
-
6ft5guyGreat long form listeningIf you commute in LA, you know the value of an hour plus podcast that's consistently engaging. Probably Science mixes humor, opinion, and hard science to entertain, teach and debate all at the same time. Thanks to them, I knew about LIGO before LIGO was cool. The rest of my playlist gets built around their new episode drops- I highly recommend them!

vstexas09One of the best podcasts available! My journey to find the greatest science/humor podcast was quite arduous, but alas, Probably Science stifled that endeavor. This podcast is the perfect combination of applying light-heartedness to a subject that is often met with a stern and no nonsense approach. The dynamic of the hosts, Andy, Matt, and (formerly) Jesse, is heaven sent. These guys make it work and their interactions with the guests are very endearing and natural. I really hope Jesse is able to make a speedy recovery because what he brings to the table is invaluable. Nonetheless, I look forward to each episode and to get my fix, I've started from the beginning. My commute time hits 50 minutes, but listening to this podcast makes the day much more bearable. I want to donate, but am unable to at the moment. Just want to say thanks for brilliantly putting this together and putting in the work to deliver quality podcasting. Really wish you guys could bring Jesse back soon or visit him to do an episode. Thank you again and I'm recommending you guys to all my friends back in Houston. Also, the early episodes are a delight. Brooks is hilarious! A dream scenario would be to have all 4 hosts back together. I don't understand how this podcast only has a few thousand followers on Twitter; this is a gem. The past few years have been depressing and pretty rough at home, but I can resort to this to get away and to laugh. I'm extremely thankful for this podcast. I'm an aspiring medical student and a dream of mine would be to be a guest on the podcast.

HoyHobbsHilariousFantastic blend of comedy and interesting science topics. Matt and Andy clearly have a solid interest and understanding in many fields of science, and the touch of disclaimer that not every bit of information shared might not be completely vetted or fact-checked is perfect. And with the help of many different comedic guests, they never fail to bring the funny. Bravo, guys, this has become an instant favorite!
-
M. HussEveryone "Probably" should subscribe...This is one of my favorite podcasts I listen to next to "The Dollop" (which is American history centered). I travel for work so I end up binging two to three episodes at a time. If you enjoy science and like to laugh this is one for you. Don't worry, the theme song will grow on you. Once I'm caught up I will listen to "Jesse vs cancer" who is a co-host but has his own podcast. Keep up the awesome work guys!
-

TheoScheinProbably The BestHave yet to have an episode that doesn't have me laughing out loud all alone in my car during my commute! As a professional scientist it's great to hear professionally funny people talk science. These guys are the perfect change of pace from the standard nerdy science podcast. To add to it, they usually have a solid guest list as well. Listen if you haven't already, these guys are my go to podcast!
-
HobbcoreUkuleleIt took 42 episodes for me to be completely sold. Andy's Ukulel project finally sold me on it. I'm late to the party but completely worth it. Found you guys through StarTalk Radio.
-
