I’m leaving the show five stars because I love B. Simone, and I like her podcast. But I have to be honest, listening to the episode about identity crisis made me feel like B. might have some internalized racism. Maybe that’s a reach, but some of the verbiage she used to articulate how she was questioning herself kinda came off like she didn’t 100% love her authentic blackness. I’m just here to say you are beautiful sister, never question yourself, walk in your power in your truth. 💛

I’ve always been a B.Simone supporter but I found this podcast while on my own journey of finding purpose and rediscovering my true self. This podcast has served as my therapist, my inspiration and my motivation. I can honestly say that I look forward to every Monday for a new episode. Well, what can I say about this podcast. This podcast has helped me so much and I love the topics and the discuss discussions with the many different guest. This last episode episode 51 about the identity crisis really resonated with me. As being a mixed race, woman of Filipino and black, I always had issues with my identity, not being black enough or not being Filipino enough. But I realize that I am me, and I am unique and beautifully and wonderfully made. Thank you be Simone for this podcast. You are truly an angel, so down to earth and so relatable. Keep doing what you do and know that God has put you on here for a purpose,to change and influence so many people lives.

I have been following your journey since you started doing insta. I always thought you were funny, but this podcast has been great balance of serious topics and a good laugh. Just watched a podcast episode. Especially in Brazil, the Caribbean and Africa. They don’t just have nothing. They have a lot. People just be on island having a time. And it’s fun. It’s beautiful. This podcast turn me from a skeptic to a supporter! I don’t know if B. Simone sees these, but I HAD to write one. For some reason, when I first came across her, she completely irritated my spirit. No clue why—I didn’t find her funny, I couldn’t listen to her, and I’d scroll past her face like it was my part-time job! (Stay with me, I promise this gets good!) Fast forward to tonight. I was decorating my new home and needed a podcast vibe that wasn’t my usual financial, self-improvement, or Christian picks. I found this podcast & my phone FROZE. Like, no scrolling, no escape, although it was working perfectly fine! I ended up listening to almost every episode, and here I am, sitting on my floor in FULL tears. The way she balances humor, faith, and raw authenticity is everything I didn’t know I needed. She has literally articulated things I’ve tried to put out into the world. Things I embody and inspire to empower! I can’t believe I went from avoiding to being in awe of her. Thank you for creating this space—it’s inspiring me to continue dreaming bigger without changing my character and start building the same energy in my own life. Girrrrrrrrl you these episodes got me in tears because you are speaking on my life!! Not wanting to be my sibling's mother because they got one!!! Trying to forgive people who hurt me. Having a disconnect with my siblings and not sure where to go from there other than showing up. Parents missed the mark in important milestones where conversations needed to be had but they missed it and I had to learn from other siblings. This podcast has been very transformative in my life. I’ve been having epiphanies left and right. From not wanting to be my sisters mother any longer, just being her sister, and realizing I am in fact very codependent ( I’m the giver and helper and wants to save everyone). This has been so healing for me and I love you for being so vulnerable and allowing us to bear witness to it. It’s beautiful and courageous, keep going!

My therapist recommended a book by Melody Beattie called Codependent No More: How to Stop Controlling Others and Start Caring for Yourself.
