A must listen

I am a huge fan of Almost Fiction, every episode is a deep dive into the story behind some of the most heinous people to ever exist. The four part series that Chase recently released gives us such a flawless insight into the lives of some seriously twisted women. Thank you, Chase, for always delivering such incredible content. Love 1159 but this podcast is quite boring. Pretty upset to see the last lines of one episode literally came from Wikipedia. Compared to Kent..do better research.

Great person, meh podcast

Chase Ellerman seems like a really nice guy. Unfortunately, his delivery is dry as toast. His storytelling could put you to sleep. He’s not breaking any new ground here. He often gets his information wrong. In short, this pod is boring. Listen to True Crime Kent if you want a good podcast from 11:59, or just listen to any of the thousands of other true crime podcasts that are actually entertaining.

Chase is great at this! Interesting true crime cases that aren’t covered a lot. Its much better than a lot of other true crime podcasts that are available. I pay so I can get the early episodes!!!

So glad that 11:59 picked this one up. I enjoy the stories. It’s kinda like a mix of MrBallen and Jack Luna’s Dark Topic. Storytelling but not quite so much gore as Luna and DeadBug.

I really tried to stick with the show. Topics are interesting but good god, the monotone of host is unlistenable. No emotion, no change in his voice. Uneven, halting is just annoying. Will try later epis, maybe he changes but for now it’s just plain boring. Sorry

Chase has the kind of voice that compels you to keep listening. It’s mesmerizing, soothing, comforting and gentle all at once. His research is impeccable and draws you in. He tells you about horrific events but at the same time is almost comforting in his storytelling. His voice reassures you that you will be ok. Highly recommend Almost Fiction from 11:59 media.
