Fascinating stories and insights from the founder of YC
I love this podcast. I’ve never written a review for a podcast, but after hearing Jessica mention it as a way to support the pod on Lenny’s podcast, I felt compelled to. Reliving some of the glory days of YC and the founding of these giant names in startup world through this podcast gives me so much nostalgia and joy. I learned so much about what drives these founders and it inspires me. Jessica and Carolynn ask amazing questions, and steer the conversation to amazing nooks and crannies of these startups’ journeys, which lead to really gripping tales about resourcefulness and taking advantage of a moment in time. I loved the Parker Conrad episode, as well as the Trevor Blackwell episode. Please continue to make this podcast, and put more content on YouTube (and if possible, at the same time as Apple Podcasts)!! Love to see the facial reactions of of the hosts as well as the guests, and build the sense of empathy through the conversation. Cheers!

Best founder stories on the web!
These are the best founder stories on the web because they’re so relatively unvarnished, and the conversations among people who already know each other. My favorite founder stories, bar none—even better than AQ2!

This podcast will help you build your company
I used to listen to the Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders Seminar from Stanford when trying to figure our how to build my first company. The best lessons came from hearing founder stories. This podcast reminds me of a new and improved version.

    The best startup stories
As an aspiring Founder, these podcasts are amazing insights into early stage startups that have gone onto hyper growth and massive success. One of my favorite things about this show is that there is already a relationship with the guests, so its much more natural than listening to the same Founders on other shows.

    Best Podcast for Founder Stories
Jessica and Carolynn are amazing at bringing out unique stories from founders that are full of insightful lessons, inspiring, and really entertaining! Thank you for all the hard work put in to bring these unheard perspectives from founders to the forefront.

    Best Founder Podcast Out There
There are a lot of startup and founder podcasts out there (some very good ones) but so far this is turning out to be the best. Why? The hosts have over a decade of experience working with startups and muscle memory to see patterns and ask great questions. They also are judicious in picking their guests who speak frankly and avoid platitudes and get into the grit. For example, David Lieb had an amazing and no-spin discussion about working in corporate Google after being bought (which should have a great stand-alone episode). Early days but I hope they keep it up!

    Mr. Roger’s meets Silicon Valley
I listen to Social Radars religiously. It’s Mr. Rogers neighborhood meets Silicon Valley, except it’s real people with real startup stories that reflect the Zeitgeist of the times. The format is friendly empathetic banter that unearths the fundamentals of building startups from founders.

    So good!
Absolutely soaking this up. Just as PG stated - this is like being a fly on the wall of the early days of these great companies and products. There is so much to learn from ‘beginnings’ of great achievements. The simplicity and pragmatism demonstrated by these founders is truly inspiring to startups and established companies alike. There is always opportunity to build something people want. Perhaps this takes even more energy in an established org to break past structural and political inertia.
