ChrisnahlikGreat podcast for points and miles! What a fantastic podcast! I’ve learned more from this podcast than from any other. Devon is an incredible teacher and communicates so clearly - she really breaks concepts down well. She also zags when every other podcast zigs - I remember hearing on her podcast first about earning points for home purchases (nobody else was talking about it at the time). She’s clearly very smart and it’s an honor being able to learn from her every Monday!

AHB712Devon is the GOAT!OBSESSED!! This is truly a life changing podcast. So informative, but yet delivered in an entertaining and easy to understand way. It has totally changed the way my family and I travel. The PMTFC community also makes it so simple to poll your closest 27k+ friends with any questions you may have along the way. This has undoubtedly become my most favorite hobby!

JessJess91Great for all healthcare folxI’m a mental health professional and I find this podcast so refreshing and helpful. Most of the time, the points community is geared towards people who can plan travel with a lot of schedule flexibility, but that’s not the case in my dual-healthcare worker relationship. I so so appreciate this podcast because it gives me a framework to make points and miles work for my family.

Doctor’s wifeLearned so much already!I just discovered this podcast and have learned a lot already. I enjoy listening and learning about the ways to use points, and hearing about the amazing travels you’ve been on that are possible through points!

Rachael703One of my favorite podcasts! So glad I found this podcast. Each episode is well researched and full of clear, relevant and actionable information. She also tends to have topics/guests you won’t see on other points/miles podcasts which I love. Highly recommend adding this one to your weekly rotation!

Ob.wan.gynobiHelped Me Start My JourneyI have always wanted to use points to travel. I had many fears about my credit score, what were good subs, and which cards were the best. Devon’s intro webinar and this podcast have helped me overcome all my fears. Now we’ll on my way to booking trip to Hawaii for my family of 4 all in points. 10 point multiplayer with 150,000 subs is my rating of this podcast!

RetireestravelfreeNot Just For Those Who Fly First ClassI heard Devon on another podcast and liked her soothing voice and wisdom but figured her podcast wasn’t for me since it has “first class” in the title and I knew she was a doctor. Boy, was I wrong! Turns out she has points and miles knowledge for the rest of us too that I’ve learned a ton from, binging on her show while taking long walks on the beach this winter. She’s inspired me to dig a little deeper into paying for things with credit cards that I didn’t even know I could do like utility bills through PayPal bill pay, figuring out exactly which card I need to use to get the most points for each purchase (I even made a spreadsheet for this), leveraging dreaded estimated taxes and my yearly tax bill to the full by using credit cards and more. Listen to a few episodes yourself and you’ll soon be hooked. It’s a highlight of my Mondays. Thank you so much, Devon!

ladra.moniOn my way! This podcast has helped me so much. I am forever grateful that Devon has chosen to share her knowledge with the rest of us. Within six months of starting this hobby I was able to book business class seats to and from our upcoming trip to Morocco. Super excited and so glad I found This podcast!

TlcooperwomanGreat resource even if you don’t want to go first class!I love this podcast! Every Monday morning I look forward to hearing it on my drive to work. So much valuable information is shared… even if you aren’t interested in traveling first class RIGHT NOW (it’s my dream, not yet a reality). Just start listening… and enjoy the benefits!

S DonahueReluctant traveler to points obsessed!I love Devon’s podcast and have learned so much in a short time! I just started listening in August and am deep into the points game already. It is so much fun and I’ve already booked 2 redemptions that I never would have done without this podcast and the PMTFC Facebook group. Thank you so much Devon!

E.V.ddieBrutalGood audio quality, poor interviewer. Daily Drop interview perfect example. More specific and better questions would make it much better. Where did they get their cheap airfare deals? How specifically do they find award space? Do they hand search all deals and award space or is it software driven? Some similar companies hire teams in Asia to search for deals. Daily Drop podcast was like 2 high school girls talking not a serious discussion on points and miles. Can’t get past the guests vocal inflection like a 14 yr old L.A. wealthy valley girl. Like Okay? Like Totally!

JennyC10VALearning so much.Great podcast. Well produced, informative, intelligent, great awareness that this is an audio format and she adds information to the show notes for more visual learners. We’ve already made some changes to how we spend/earn and are learning about transferable points/miles and transfer bonuses. Just getting started.
-
DicedOffFantastic podcast to embark you into the world of Points TravelRegardless of your spend or social situation Dr. Gimbel brilliantly helps you navigate how to accrue points efficiently and then how to use them in a way that works for you. She and her guests are incredibly informative and they make the whole points world approachable. This podcast is a must listen for anyone who wants to travel.

Dr GracieMy favorite podcast!!Devon is such a delight to listen to and gives really great nuanced info every week! I look forward to Mondays because I know I’ll learn something new!
-
Bex810Learning a lot but extremely verboseI love how Devan goes into detail on some topics that some of the other points & miles podcasts out there to do not. However, as someone else put it nicely, she is extremely long winded. It can be hard to pay attention after awhile. That’s when the 15 second fast forward button comes in handy!!
-
Pabligo2468Great podcast for business owners!I’ve already learned so much- great info on points in general but specific to owning a business it’s been especially helpful!
-
traveling in styleEpisode 73: planning an Africa tipThis was such a great episode and so timely for us , as we are planning a 3 week trip to South Africa in October 2025 All of Devon’s episodes teach me something new . Devon is a great asset to all of us in this Points/ travel community. Thank you

SCO FLGreat Content!Love the content and your perspective. You definitely provide valuable information and insight and I look forward to your new episodes. To take this to the next level, I echo a previous reviewer’s comment that you do tend to out-talk your guests and leave them sitting for a very long time. Also many of your episodes sound scripted, as if you are reading off of the screen. While this does help the content flow without the dreaded “ums” and “uhs”, it doesn’t sound as genuine. I would love to hear more more of your personality come through on these episodes without it sounding like you’re reading from a book. Great content, thank you for putting it out there. Looking forward to listening more!

ccsmom555Such valuable content for the points and miles hobbyThis podcast has been so helpful to me in this points and miles journey! Devon explains things so thoroughly and clearly. I finally understood CCP after episode 53 entitled Deal or No Deal. The most recent episode 60, was so valuable as well. Devon, thank you for giving us what we need to be successful in this hobby. This podcast is one of my top three on this subject.

I like hamsters!!Love it, butI love the topic of points travel and listen to many different podcasts. Unfortunately, the host talks very fast and is very long winded. If you have a guest on why are you talking for between 4-11 minutes without asking questions? We already know your thoughts on most topics. ask questions and let your guests answer. If I were a guest, I would be wondering why you had me on. I definitely start to tune out. Hopefully, a little advice will help. Thanks

ObstratGreat conversations about realistic travel using pointsI have been listening to this podcast for a couple months and I find the format and depth of applicable pointers to be very helpful and travel idea provoking. And the conversation with Dr. Murali was excellent. She needs to be a regular guest on the podcast. #fivestars

Airplane-momStraightforward and informativeI’ve been into the points and miles for a couple of years and have enjoyed some great free trips. I enjoy listening to podcasts about the travel hacking universe, as I love learning new tricks. I’m only a few episodes through Point Me to First Class but so far it’s great. If you are just starting out, this is a great place to land!

TiniwinibikiniEpisode 53 - mathThanks so much for this episode. It was exactly what I needed. The math part has always been a problem for me. Didn’t know if I was doing the math correctly or getting a good redemption. Now I know thanks to you.

6122kamaMind Blown! This podcast has so much great information. I shut her to think of all of the lost points in my recent past. Thank you so much for bringing us all into the light.
-
Woof755Room for improvementThis is an informative pod about points and miles. The first several episodes are must listen for those just getting into the hobby. However, our host has not yet taken to heart constructive criticism regarding her long-windedness. For example we are 11 minutes into this current episode and she and her guest have each spoken one time. It becomes distracting when you just want the host to engage her guest again.

Rana NBI am hooked! My husband and I are big on saving and using cash back and earning points. To our surprise, we have been doing things wrong, and have been missing out on a lot of value. This podcast is a true learning tool that we are taking so seriously. Thank you for all the great insights. I have shared the podcast with many friends and family members.
-
J-SwillaAn eloquent professorPossibly one of the best podcast episodes ever. The way she explained the Dunning Kruger effect… including accurately describing the chart! This is high-yield content and top-notch quality

skvstarso helpful, informative and easy-to-followI just found this podcast and listen to several episodes. Devon is a wealth of knowledge and shares her extensive knowledge in a way that’s easy to absorb and apply. Whether new to points travel or a somewhat experienced user, her insights will be invaluable. Ep 2 and 24 were great starting points.
-
pinkscrubsHelpfulThis podcast was recommended to me by apple and I am finding it very relevant. As physician myself we have a higher income but high student loans. Using points and miles makes it possible for us to have a luxurious vacation for a much lower cost. I especially found the episodes on paying taxes helpful. I also found Devon’s course on traveling to Europe in business class very helpful. She shows ways to find availability for multiple business class tickets.
-
emilyrinchichExcellent!Clear, concise, smart information to help learn about points and miles travel. Thank you!
-
OblantamVery InformativeDevon is a delight to listen to and very informative regarding rewards travel. She breaks down in the informative in a way that is easy to follow and I appreciate that she doesn’t use all the acronyms that many tend to use in this space. I’ve also enjoyed all the guest speakers that I’ve heard so far.
-
dojo42LameThought this podcast would be helpful with the points and miles game. Instead, the episode I listened to was all about white privilege and how white people get to fly in all the luxury seats and must look down on other people if they fly in first class. Maybe it was just this episode but this was not helpful and the guest speaker was a big let down. Hopefully other episodes will be helpful.
-
ShinarJSBLess is moreGood podcast. But I really don’t understand why she has guests. The host talks soooo much. Literally on and on. Ask a question and then answers it for the guest. Sheesh
-
gg1884Demystifies the points and miles worldDevon breaks down this “secret and complex” world of points and miles in an easy to follow manner. She explains what can be complex in understandable examples and scenarios. She has a relaxing and calming demeanor in her approach. It’s also beneficial to hear from her guests who have mastered this process which helps a to believe we can too!
-
MamadocENTA perder place for point tips and strategiesDevon really breaks down the fundamentals of maximizing points accumulation and redemption. A great primer for those interested in getting started with points travel and for those who want more I go on whether it is right for them. A+
