just what I was looking for!
I just discovered Caroline’s podcast yesterday and am now listening to all the episodes. I am fascinated by agricultural systems and these conversations are exactly what I’ve been looking for. Chews Wisely looks beyond the binaries and simplified, comfortable narratives that just hold us back in camps and keep us from from progress toward a better food system. I haven’t been able to find another resource in this space that truly questions our assumptions and is *both* idealistic and realistic, passionate and humble. Thank you!!

    Nuance and levity
This podcast is such a joy to listen to while moving sheep netting (or doing anything else). Caroline is a great host, facilitating fascinating conversations, asking great questions of her guests, and bringing out many threads in conversations for listeners to consider. I love the tone of the podcast, the ideas discussed and the dedication to looking beyond the critical inquiry in a realm that can be so polarized. Thank you!

    Love the educational content!
As someone who is passionate about the environment and our connection to the land, this is a great podcast. I truly believe regenerative agriculture is the future solution to so many of our countries environmental challenges. Caroline’s perspective educates and shares the nuances that so many not closely connected to agriculture miss.

    Everyone should listen!
This is a fantastic podcast that really dives into the source of our food, and the lives of the people that are producing that food. Caroline gives consideration to different sides of the conversations and brings on guests that have real, lived experience. If there was one podcast that I would recommend to everyone, it would be this one.

    GREAT podcast
This is my new fav to listen to. I love how informative it is and how Caroline presents things in such clear, easy-to-understand terms. Its science-y but not intimidating or making it feel like you need to be a farmer/ rancher or scientist to understand what’s going on. I learn something new every time I listen and love hearing her updates on the ranch and what she’s been up to. Overall a great time, I think everyone should listen to this podcast :)

    My favorite podcast!!
This is by far my favorite podcast to listen to! I always learn something new and insightful and she does such a good job of explaining and breaking down the topics. I have recommended it to so many people already and truly can’t say enough about how much I enjoy it. One of my favorite episodes is “The Farmers are not Alright”. It’s so meaningful and thought provoking. Thank you Caroline!!

    Balancing laughter with critical review
Totally enjoying this podcast, Caroline and her guests have valuable, critical discourse and manage to balance it with a little self deprecation and reality checks on when ‘life gets busy don’t beat up on yourself for not walking the regenerative walk every single step’

    Appreciating my local farmers
Learning so much about where our food comes from! The good and the bad.

    Great podcast!
I grew up in this business and live it every day. Sometimes forgetting that so many don’t. Caroline understands that, and speaks so well to those that don’t know much, or have misconceptions about food production and the processes. She breaks down issues in this industry and looks at all sides. I appreciate that. Great podcast!

    Worth a listen
Caroline touches on some truly important topics and issues within our food industry. Her approach is well-balanced and backed by research, making it an excellent resource for anyone seeking to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the dynamics, improvements, challenges, and issues within today's agricultural industry. 🙌🏻

Nuisance is my new best friend
I have fallen into the holes of siloed world views where I know enough to have an opinion but not nearly enough to know why I might be wrong. The nuisance is essential for being able to tell the whole story about something. Thank you Caroline! I plan to be here for a while ;) And thanks to those silly algorithms too.

If you want to learn more about our food chain and other nuanced topics this is THE podcast for you. Great to share with someone who you think is open to learning as well.

    Balanced, well researched, and entertaining!
I love Caroline’s nuanced deep dives into the intersections of agriculture, climate, culture, and food. I learn so much in each episode and I have a much broader view of how I want to eat and what I want to support. Caroline supports all the information through primary sources and real experiences, and I love every episode.

    Fresh perspective and practices
As a small farm operator, I appreciate the perspective this podcast brings. We need more young agriculturalists like Caroline to help us re-think industrial ag methods and, instead, implement regenerative practices that truly honor the land, livestock, and climate!

    Worth your time!
I’ve been so looking forward to the release of this podcast and it has not disappointed! Caroline is clear and concise when explaining things and she’s so easy to listen to. It’s fun listening about my home state too.

Proud to be one of your first 15
I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished so far. I am probably considered an East Coast elite and definitely had my own views of climate change, but I have learned to look at food production so differently since I found you many years ago. I can’t wait to learn more from your future podcasts. I have always appreciated your nuanced approach and your ability to explain complex issues in a way that non-ag folks can digest and learn. You back everything up with science and this gives you such credibility! Again so proud of you, can’t wait to listen to more episodes!!!

Great podcast on an important topic
I’ve been looking forward to this podcast launching and episode one did not disappoint! I love hearing nuanced perspectives on ag and the food industry and this podcast promises to deliver just that. I can’t wait to see what topics Caroline covers next. Keep up the good work!
