I’m a faithful listener to this great podcast—and have been loving birds for most of my 70+ years on the globe. The episode featuring the most ‘metal’ birds had me high-fiving every selection and ironically so as just this morning I photographed a Loggerhead Shrike (complete with prey dangling from its hooked beak) on my way from the mailbox. Rock on.

Birds are one of the most invitational reminders that we can live to sing and sing to live. Thank you for this hope filled show of beautiful people.

Never paid much notice of birds before I heard Courtney started talking about her new found birding experience during the pandemic. Holy moly! What have I been missing? Now I daily notice the birds of the air. I keep a special look out for the “Bird from the Lord” to bring me extra enjoyment, encouragement, and inspiration. As Courtney reminds us to look up, our redemption draws near.

This is a great feel good pod. For anyone that wants to spend some time with lovely people talking about lovely things this is the pod for you. I am not a bird person. I couldn’t tell the difference between a blue left footed boogie or a titfinch but these are good people telling good stories. 5 stars.
