This podcast is a veritable primordial mound of creation! I love the presentation, the depth of research, and the accompanying resources. Thank you Jack Logan! Epistemology. The direct experience that others have with God is important evidence and a sound basis for understanding. If your grandparents left a journal detailing a coherent and elevating theology that God revealed to them and that informed their lives and led to them creating a good society, that would reasonably carry more weight than observations and speculation about the material world (science and philosophy). Even more so when the most forward thinking scientific theories comport with that revealed theology and everyone else’s grandparents left journals of the same revealed theology but with different life experiences! Cosmology. When you peel back the dogma and get to the heart of revealed religion, we all believe the same thing. There is one (high) God and father of us all. We have been fools over centuries to divide over differences. And now is the time that God is gathering all things in one. We are listening to one another like we haven’t before, reading one another’s books, and finding truth all around us. You and I are divine beings meant to create beauty and joy. You and I can become heros and royal victors who slay the dragon of chaos and bring forth a new world as we follow the beloved Son: divide light from darkness, establish a fixed point and firm barrier, prepare fertile ground, and robe in glory our new idea or new effort or new family or new solution or resolution, a manifestation of truth and goodness, a rolling forth of God’s great glory in the messy and highly textured lives of his children. When we get it right enough we will find ourselves (tumbling out of a wardrobe perhaps and) arriving in his throne room, surrounded by his love and amazed at the meaning in all of our experiences. As we move towards it collectively, as we become a people prepared to meet our God, the beloved Son will come again and show us how to rule in righteousness and peace.

I come from a family of both Jewish and Christian traditions, and this podcast has exquisitely woven threads of these and countless other faiths into a unifying tapestry. Jack’s fastidious historical archaeology more than proves to me that a living and loving God has guided and continues to guide this planet and everything on it. I look forward to continuing my “Ancient Tradition” binge (I’m only halfway through), as learn what this beneficent God has in store for all of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Jack!

My wife and I are long time listeners from the beginning podcasts on YouTube. It’s nice to hear things taught by the Ancients that comport with our own long held beliefs and studies about our personal divine identity and potential as Sons and Daughters of the God of Ma’at; as well as the true nature of Him! This podcast has saved me hundreds if not thousands of hours of research. It’s fantastically well researched, professionally produced, and the subject matter is…well, it’s related to the most important questions of the universe. I just wish I knew who Jack Logan was or that she had some way to contact her on the website because I’ve got lots of questions.

Jack Logan is answering questions that I’ve been pondering for decades! I believe this podcast is a partial fulfillment of the prophecy in Luke 8:17- “For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.” I’m grateful for Dr. Logan’s passion and willingness to share what she has learned in a clear, mind-expanding way!

You really need to check out the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They believe in a heavenly family, preexistence, ascension, temples, ceremonies, covenants, creation - I could go on and on. They even have a boat story similar to the Noah one. Fantastic podcast!

Dr. Logan’s podcast is a real “page turner”. Her analysis and research is excellent. Very accessible and understandable. I would love an interview with Jack on the Jordan Peterson podcast!!! For those considering watching or listening I suggest beginning at the 1st show and work forward. Thanks!!

This has deepened my understanding of my Christianity and learning of other faiths. I love that she remains neutral and builds on the connections between faiths. I’ll listen to an episode more than once and each time I gain something more.

The worldview and paradigm presented here are breathtaking and hold tremendous explanatory power. This isn’t like other religious or historical podcasts. Like you seriously need to listen to this, everything will suddenly make sense all around you. Actually life changing. The information here is concrete, meaningful and helpful. Presented in a digestible way. This is what I’ve been searching for for years. The host has figured some really important things out

Some of this stuff I already knew (check out the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for more details 😉), but there is plenty of new stuff I have absolutely enjoyed learning. The lessons are densely populated with rich insights. This has been a wonderful listen! I’ve always wanted to understand the coronation symbolism better and am happy she spent so much time on it!

I appreciate that she intentionally tries to stay neutral. In today’s world people often take a side or position and then spend their time defending it. I like that she is trying to keep her family’s beliefs and religion out of the conversation.

I’ve learned so much and it has helped me understand deeper many ancient teachings and practices from the Bible.

I was raised in a Christian subculture. And I have been dabbling in various religious traditions for my entire life. There’s something about all that that never quite made sense to me. Until I found Dr. Logan’s podcast. I believe everything she is saying is true. It makes perfect sense and it makes all the religious traditions seem so much more rich and potent. I’m so grateful for her work. I stand in all of God and Creation more than ever.

I want to be in Dr Logan’s head. I’m a full-time online student and stay at home mom of two small children but have had this deep and relentless hunger to study all of the religions to find what Jack calls ‘ the stubborn bits’ because deep down I’ve had a ‘knowing’ that all of Gods children’s religions are true. I have neither time nor resources for this study. I stumbled upon this podcast in a way that felt like grace. It’s a little gift from God to me to satiate my hunger. I’m soooo grateful for you Dr Logan! Thank you thank you thank you.

Full Five Stars! Weaving together the stubborn bits across anthropological history to define the theology of God, could there be a more relevant and necessary work?! Dr. Logan: Thank you for sharing your seismic work. I am sure you have a layout of how the course will continue but I’d like to ask a couple questions that I would be delighted to see knit into your podcasts. Though current Biblical scholarship is slowly starting to help the larger bible-reading world to move away from the erroneous idea that Israelite historiography is unique and isolated from its Levant neighbors (thinking of Inspiration and Incarnation by Peter Enns), how can one take the fact that half the Hebrew Bible’s roasts Ba’al and reconcile it with the presentation of Marduk and Ba’al as the Beloved Son and Eternal Father? Though scholars have long argued the heavy editorial hand of the Deuternomists, even the earlier cultic religion of YHWH seems to be continually placed above contemporary counterparts like, say, the Egyptians. How would the splintering of the Ancient Tradition and the subsequent vying for “top status” that we see in the Bible, play out? I haven’t seen it as much in later episodes, I am wondering why you previously have chosen to rely heavily on the King James Bible? Coined by Samuel Sandmel, the term parallelomania has sadly been used to describe at least one of the scholars from whose work you draw. How would you refute this idea as not only irrelevant to the authenticity of the scholarship, but maybe even central to the theology of the ancient tradition, especially considering the limited epistemology of the post-modern world? I love Jack’s curiosity approach to searching the ancient religious origin. I love how logical, honest and open to interpretation this podcast is. It does point towards a Christian viewpoint, but also shows some holes that are missing in the standard Christian/Catholic Church. I cannot WAIT for more ancient texts to be revealed and totally believe they will be in God’s time.

What I love most is finding the Ancient Tradition out in “the wild” as I grow more familiar with the symbols and stories. My most recent “find” came the same night I listened to the episode on sacred architecture. I am reading the book Cry of the Ancients by Little Pigeon and Grey Owl. In it they describe the Mound Builder’s mounds in Ohio. They contain: octagons, concentric circles, central crosses and alignment to the vernal equinox. If you know, you know. Amazing.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for several months now. I am so addicted I cannot stop! Every time I listen and relisten and relisten my mind is expanded and I gain new insights. Every. Single. Time. Thank you so much! UPDATE: I thought she had ended the podcast and I was so sad. It was an actual physical sadness when I thought there weren’t going to be any more presentations. I am so grateful that she has uploaded a new episode. I don’t know what I will do if this podcast ever ends. It will be like losing a close friend! THANK YOU! The way I study the gospel has totally changed since I have made this podcast an integral part of my daily life!

This podcast blows my mind.

I have been trying to listen to this for a couple of months now and nothing happens. I hope this is just some technical issue because this podcast was very well made & one can tell that this person put love into developing this. I enjoyed listening to the story, our story, until silence seemed to have killed it all as it usually does.

This podcast is a summary of the journey our people have been on since the dawn of time. Jack Logan is so well spoken and has obviously done her homework. It’s easy to understand and mind-blowing to comprehend. I’m recommending this to nearly everyone.

To the guy who called Dr. Logan “Fundamentally Dishonest”, I listened to Episode #2, and I must take issue with your characterization of Dr. Logan. In that episode, Dr. Logan clearly states that she “loves science” and “everything science has taught her” and that she “doesn’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water”. She obviously finds tremendous value in science and reason (which she clearly states and which explains why she uses scientific evidence on the program), yet at the same time she clearly understands the limitations of science- thus the need for spiritually acquired knowledge too- reason + revelation. Honestly, after listening to the full episode, I have to say, sir, that, you are the one who is being “fundamentally dishonest” in your portrayal of Dr. Logan. One can both love science and also recognize its limitations without being “dishonest”.

The author spends their second episode telling every lie in the book about the Scientific Method only to turn around and rely on it to gather all the information she needed/needs to present her worldview. Hilarious and sad. Indeed, when one says the scientific method can’t be verified, then to go on and achieve verifiable success after success with it, is a stunning example of the dishonesty at the core of this person’s worldview. Take her presentations with a grain of salt, or five.

This is such a great podcast and my husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It fits so amazing well with the religious traditions of our faith, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Thank you.

I throughly enjoy how Dr. Logan teaches and shares her research. I read a comment of concern but she documents her research throughly so I have no problem with her wanting to keep her identity private. I have been fascinated how all cultures share these common threads and love to see how she weaves them together masterfully. Thank you Dr. Logan.

The Lord of the Rings was brought up in the latest episode. Those books are full of links to the ancient tradition! You must read the first chapter of the fellowship of the ring which is most definitely a tree of life ritual. Very significant dates, numbers and symbols!

I listen regularly and want to like this podcast, but not knowing the credentials of J. Logan is my main misgivings about the show.

I try to share this podcast with anyone and everyone! Although I discovered God through faith this podcast gives evidence that there is a God. It blows my mind how much he loves the people he created. He didn’t come to one group of people he came to all people. I am always anxious for the next episode to come out! I love this podcast but why all the secrecy surrounding Dr. Logan? Who is she? With which university is she affiliated?

With the use of untold numbers of ancient texts, Dr. Logan builds an incredibly clear picture of the spiritual realm, and what happened there. And is amazing at articulating what the spiritual implications are for us. My mind is bursting with the symbolisms of antiquity. This podcast will change your life. In every good way.

Everything points to one true religion, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has all the aspects of that original religion. I understand the temple ceremony so much better now. I was introduced to this podcast just a few months ago and absolutely devoured episode after episode and am now up to date. Each episode is so fascinating and I love how they just all build on each other. Dr. Logan's research is astounding and faith promoting! I cannot recommend this podcast enough.

So much research. I had no idea the connections in religious traditions from the earliest literature available. These earliest writings are basically around Adam’s grandchildren time period who could have heard what God taught directly to Adam and Eve!!
