    Extremely helpful
This podcast has been so helpful to me in so many ways. I have two dogs with very different personalities and this podcast has helped me to identify what I need to do to communicate more effectively with them and that they need different things from me. I appreciate the advice given on dog parks, dog walks, pack placement, the use of crates, and how to watch my dogs for their cues and to be more intuitive so I know how to respond. This has helped me to be more sensitive to the way they see things and how they think. So extremely helpful! Keep up the great podcasting!

Worth every minute of listen time
I stumbled on this from an Instagram post from Pete’s Adventure Pack. I wish I’d known so much earlier! This is an amazing podcast for any dog owner. My only complaint is I wish it was every week.

MUST LISTEN for all dog owners
I came across this while just looking for more than I was getting from my local trainer. I’ve now dropped that trainer. I’ve learned more from this show by FAR than I did in 2 years of obedience classes. I only wish I had known and listened before bringing my pup home. But it’s never too late! Thank you Millie and Andrea!!

    Love this podcast.
I came across this podcast and absolutely fell in love. I’ve worked with dogs since i was 13 years old from pet stores, vet hospitals, boarding facilities, and now owning my own pet care business. The info they discuss is valuable at all levels. They’re not ego driven and care for the well being of the dogs and don’t hold back or sugar coat things. Dog owners, trainers, or anyone else who works with dogs can learn from this podcast. Keep it up!

    Didn’t know until I knew
My best friend and I own 2 dogs and they have lit a passion for training in us and until we found your podcast we didn’t realize that we were training in psychology based training and ever since listening to your podcast it has not only helped our family tremendously, it has also helped me as an aspiring trainer to have a better understanding of the type of trainer I want to blossom into. Thank you all for creating this podcast!

    A Must Listen!
This is THE best podcast I’ve listened to for detailed information about all aspects of dogs! Each time I think to myself, “I wonder how to …..?” it is answered. Answered with exact steps. Thank you for all you put into this podcast, it is changing dog owners for the better!

    Life changing!
Thank you so much for the information you share on your podcast. I have learned that Bingo is a back of the pack dog who needed structure to help him feel more confident and relaxed. He used to have his bowl of food out because he would never eat a meal. He couldn’t eat without me in the room. We started feeding in the crate and now he is eating his meals, sleeping 11 hours at night in the crate, napping in the crate during the day, going to “place” and staying for over an hour while I’m making dinner/vacuuming. He has learned how to relax, and enjoying his alone dog! His separation anxiety is gone! We went from peeing in every single tree to walking 2 miles with him slightly behind me! I feel like our relationship has grown so much and I am so glad I implemented every tip and recommendation I could from your podcast! I have a more relaxed, well behaved dog and I thank you for teaching me what to do!

Exactly what a new puppy parent needs
My family and I just got a puppy and it’s been a ride. This podcast is like the support friend we didn’t know we needed. So much information given but not in an overwhelming manner. Also, the hosts’ voices are so calming lol Highly recommend for all pup parents <3

The Best way to exercise your dog
I have a German shepherd who is such a good boy, but he gets over excited and vocal when it’s time to go for a walk or car ride. Thank you for helping me to see how I can think differently and bring calm to the situation and help him to be more calm.

The advice you never knew you needed
This podcast does an excellent job at explaining dog behavior so that every dog owner can understand, interpret, and apply the concepts/principals to their every day lives. It’s all about bettering your relationship with you dog and there is something for everyone in every episode, even if you already consider yourself keen on dog behavior. Bravo!

    Life changing Podcast
I thought I was kinda good at being a dog owner & WOW my ignorance is exposed for the best possible reason. I had 2 wonderful dogs that lived long lived who passed last year but were not without their issues that I just assumed were personality traits. I started listening to this podcast in preparation for my next pup & Im realizing the behavior issues they had were developed because of me. I can see how some of these things may be difficult to hear at first but I have no doubt that the things that they are sharing are for the health & wellbeing of the dog which in turn is best for everyone. Doing what’s best is usually initially not the easy thing to do & in my experience that is true in all areas of life. It’s so obvious to me now. I hope people listen to this with an open mind. So many dogs out there are unnecessarily, insecure & anxious, and it’s the humans responsibility to remedy that. So thankful for this.

    Great info!
This show is full of great information. My husband and I just adopted a new puppy after losing our adult dog last year, and these ladies have given us some great tips to make sure we give our puppy the best start in life.

    Extremely Knowledgeable
I know one of these trainers is local to me and I thoroughly love watching her work via social media. I personally hate seeing uneducated or severely indoctrinated to one style of dog training trainers or causal dog owners bash these incredible trainers and their knowledge of what they are talking about. Listen, don’t just hear but LISTEN to what they are saying! These women and the content they cover are fabulous and make real impacts on dogs and their owners lives. Blake TPP

Open your mind to new information!
No where on this podcast do they compare dogs to wolves or discuss any sort of “punitive and abusive” training methods. They clearly discuss the most common natural instincts in dogs and the reasons behind the behaviors. Just because dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years, it doesn’t erase their natural instincts. You have to take their instincts into consideration if you want to better understand your dog and teach them coping mechanisms that will help improve your relationship with your dog.

    Outdated, disproven, and dangerous information
The hosts of this podcast are using dog training theories that have been disproven for literal decades. Dogs are not pack animals, there is no such thing as an “alpha” or “front of the pack” dog, dominance theory was studying wolves in captivity. Dogs are not wolves, the same theories (now disproven) that applied to wolves in zoos does not apply to domesticated dogs. This entire theory of training is punitive and abusive.

    In love with this podcast!
This is the best dog podcast I have listened to, by far. There is so much amazing and inspiring information offered in a fun and conversational way. I finished the first 2 episodes and immediately started the first one over again and I’m picking up on things I missed first time around. I can’t wait for more episodes!
