Content is generally excellent and it’s really enjoyable to hear a more in depth and behind the scenes take that the show provides. Problems: 1) Volume is way to low for some reason. I can listen to everything comfortably at the same volume, except when I turn this on I have to really crank it up. 2) Christian has incredibly transparent bias that is really frustrating to suffer through as a listener sometimes. He is prepared to selectively frame any situation that comes up with all of the accusations that were levied against Hans and is clearly unconcerned with objectively evaluating what happened or is happening. I think Fabi has done a pretty good job being objective here though.

Nothing negative to say about the content but even with my volume all the way up and headphones on, the voices are low, so I have to listen in a sealed room with the lights off. Caruana sounds okay, but Chirila has a softer, lower voice and often whispers. Please just boost everything.

Really enjoy this podcast. As a very much an amateur chess player, it’s enjoyable to hear thoughtful insights on top level chess. The one minor complaint is sometimes the voice volume levels are off (definitely better than in the beginning) and Cristian sometimes lowers his voice significantly and it’s hard to hear. Anyways keep up the good work and good luck in the candidates Fabi I hope you get another chance at the WC.

I almost never give suboptimal reviews, but this is so egregious that I have to assume you don't realize that it's essentially impossible to listen if there's any ambient noise whatsoever. I can't listen at the gym, I can't listen on the treadmill, I can't listen when I'm outside walking. Please, I am begging you, you guys have a great things to say, so invest a couple hundred dollars in some decent sound equipment. Otherwise, keep up the good work.

Please invest in some good podcasting microphones / sound engineering

I love the podcast’s topics and timeliness. I love hearing what Caruana has to say. I think the management of the podcast is great. To be frank, and I am sorry it’s rude, I personally think the podcast would be much better if Chirila was helping manage and plan but not on the air. I think it would be really amazing to have Carissa Yip or Naroditsky asking Caruana questions.

Awesome to hear about chess from the top players in the world

CSquared is set apart from other chess podcasts by a landslide. Love Fabi’s perspectives and Christian’s interviews.

I love this podcast, when I can hear it! It's often so quiet that it's impossible to hear without headphones. Forget listening in the car - it's an absolute nightmare unless you're driving about 3mph on a smooth road. Please adjust your volume levels (especially Fabi's) so that it's audible!

Always enjoyable to hear top players perspectives. Keep up the great work!

This very quickly became my favorite chess podcast. The chemistry between Christian and Fabi is great, the insights that Fabi brings, the humor, everything is just so on point. Plus getting to see the personal side of such a great chess legend like Fabi and them being able to be informal and cuss and things like that is just so cool…it’s like we are truly hanging out with them like we are hanging out with friends. Can’t recommend this podcast enough!

Christian and Fabi are great together! This podcast does a great job of covering current events and also helping us 1000 elo scrubs understand what life is like as a super gm! This is great for casual fans and players new to chess all the way up to super GMs

Cristian is a great host, the production is excellent, and most importantly Fabiano is incredibly insightful about matters we often would not otherwise hear about. Keep up the great work guys!

Usually I struggle to enjoy long form content like podcasts. After 20-30 minutes I feel like my attention is sapped and I move on. C squared is the exception that proves the rule! Fabi and Christian have great chemistry, are funny, and most of all engaging and insightful. I recommend it to anyone!

Fabiano has such great insight, a good voice for a podcast, and is just overall well spoken. I hadn’t been exposed to Cristian before but he’s a good element of the show. It’s good to have two hosts who can have a natural conversation. Please keep it up and you’ll grow a lot.

The hosts are great, I am sure the show will continue to improve. Already it is fun and engaging. I see promise in their latest episode with Yasser that they were able to rein him in a tiny bit. Yasser is a charismatic force of nature and icon in the community but sometimes he can get lost in the sauce. They got more out of the interview by asking specific questions. It will be hard for other guests to live up to Yasser charisma but those high quality questions should lead to more great interviews. Structure, good questions and the collegiality of the pod should allow a wide range of personalities to contribute. Keep up the good work!
