There is no doubt, these guys are the greatest team of paranormal podcasters out there. That said, I know you family dad’s have a busy schedule but We need you guys to get back to work. Sorry to be blunt but seriously there’s so much wild stuff going on right now and we need your input. Your podcast is one of those “ if I’m stuck on a island with one podcast “ who would you want to listen to? It would be Appalachian Intelligence 👏🏼💯 All you guys are in my prayers and I hope you all are doing good. Can’t wait to hear your voices again. I have a question, did I hear right that you are from Grundy VA? My neighbor down the holler is from Grundy, I have wondered since I heard that you were from Grundy if any of you know them. They are the McClanahans.

The guys are tackling some of the best topics. I rank them up there with the Blurry Boys and Mr. Confessionals. Seriously great content and the hosts are the real deal.

I have to say, stories sound better with a southern accent. My dad was from the Appalachian mountains in the northwestern corner of NC. (His dad was from Tennessee...so I wonder if we are truly kinfolk, because we really are ALL related there.) My hill billy side has always been my best side and the side I am most proud of. My dad worked in WI every summer and eventually married a northerner and stayed there. But, his heart was always in NC and he longed to go back. I would take him many times enjoying his stories and seeing the joy it brought him to be there with his family and friends. He would say Appalachian in the correct way...we were taught that incorrect pronunciation on our northern schools. It took me until my early 20's to realize we were taught it wrong in school and if you are from there, you say it the correct way. So, I say it correcty now (and everyone Looks at me a little side-eyed). My case in point, any Wisconsiner would know exactly how to pronounce : Menomonee Falls, Waukesha, Oconomowoc, Fond Du Lac, Lac du Flambeau...etc... and we would laugh at the rest of the world that mispronounces them. (If you read this review, you don't have to say them...you can just say I listed a few Wisconsin towns). Anyway, my father passed in 2018. It was after this time I came to an understanding of such things. I sure wish I could ask him of any of the stories and lore he knew or if he had any strange encounters in his neck of the woods, knowing what I now know. I have to ask some of my cousins if there are any stories. My dad and I had a huge bird fly in front of the car once...to which our mind said it must have been an owl because it was at night. But, we joked about it being a flying elephant or pterodactyl, the wing span was huge. Now, in hindsight, I wonder what the heck it was. I am happy to have stumbled upon your podcast. I enjoy it, I learn, it reminds me of my dad and I feel like I have kinfolk who don't think I am crazy. I look forward to each show and I am going through the old ones. Thank you for putting this stuff out there.

Lost interest after they had FED on. Too closed minded and normie for my taste. Can’t be a podcast about conspiracies and the great unknown and not take True Earth seriously. Maybe they’ll understand the value of doing their own research instead of blindly following what the mainstream has force-fed us our entire lives.

I think AI is a good podcast because they give me spine chilling stores. And they tell personal story that happened in there life! And share other people’s stores like my dads ( Chris Simerly).Your podcast makes me smile and laugh.👻👽

I recently discovered these guys when there were guests on Tin Foil Hat with Sam Tripoli. I instantly liked them. They are now one of my favorite podcasts. Highly entertaining. 👍👍👍

Born and bred in New England I didn’t know much about Appalachia until I found myself in USMC boot camp and noticed that all the coolest people I met there were either from Kentucky, West Virginia or Tennessee I do have the shared explode growing up in a spooky setting with inexplicable experiences so this podcast hits all the marks for me. I also appreciate that that Justin and Lance share their faith while still being welcoming to all who share their obsessions. 100% onboard for the kinfolk journey!

Great show; if you ever wondered why people are digging for coal in the mountains these guys have it all figured out. Heard you guys on the Confessionals and have been binging hard ever since. I love the cadence of the conversation and your soothing accents. I like to listen as I’m going to sleep, but the stories end up freaking me out, so maybe I should rethink that! I especially love when you are able to tie in folklore and mythology. I appreciate how you discuss Irish mythology as it has been adapted by immigrants to Appalachia. I hope you can convince some of the Granny Witches or other elders you know to let you record their stories. They are priceless! You could write them up in a book like Eddie Lenihan has done with Irish elders. In the meantime, many thanks for bringing the stories through your podcast!!

Greetings from the base of the Cumberland Plateau here in East Tn. Found you all on Mark’s podcast and instantly fell in love with you guys…not in that way Ryan! I do a lot of legend tripping around the mountains of KY, NC, VA and TN and love hearing the stories about places I’ve been and plan to go! Btw, just became a sibling kinfolk.
