lllhhhpppLove one of my favorites. This podcast is a refreshing realistic view of grief. The big grief of death AND the smaller normalized griefs of everyday life. The episode on self- care is wonderful, realistic , and speaks to common experiences. I also LOVED the episode of debunking the “ stages” of grief was so happy I was not alone in NOT relating to them. Thank you for bringing a down- to -earth voice to the field of mental health.

d-roll-oneA great companionI have been listening to this for a year now and it has been a source of constant comfort. It is an oasis where everyone’s form of grief or reason for grief is validated and supported. Please do another episode re pet loss - there is so much more to say. Thank you!

alexsassafras929Best grief podcastListening to this podcast is my moment of respite each week as I navigate the loss of my mom and brother. The conversations she has with her guests are thoughtful and nuanced. Somehow she manages to find the right language to describe all of what encompasses grief and loss. Read her book, too! Or listen on Audible, since reading is so difficult when you’re in the throes of grief.

LisrogExcellent Grief SuuportMy daughter passed last year. You have helped me sit with my grief.

Cara_NoelGratitude from a grief pilgrimThank you, Megan, for speaking to my whole being at the right time and in a way that knits together the fragments I’ve held onto for so long. I deeply appreciate the guests you bring us and thoughtful conversations you hold with them. I cannot wait to begin your six-month training program in a couple of weeks!! 🥰 Cara D

Shel LynnGrief brainI suspect it may be a good thing when anyone grants is permission to just be human. Why do we have norms, shame & fear surrounding issues that we don't understand, such as the dying & grieving process? I see Megan opening a door or window to our inside in a graceful enough way that anyone could relate. I am grateful for this podcast as my mother is dying of LBD ("the long goodbye"). Ps. A friend whom I have not yet identified sent me Megan's book anonymously a week ago.

Allira01No words to describeMegan Devine is just everything, I first fell in love with it’s ok to not be ok. Her podcast is just as phenomenal. Every episode with her quests are ever evolving and absolutely beautiful. This latest episode with Geena Rocero was just jaw dropping. As a trans woman it brings me to tears seeing my beautiful sisters being heard and no one better than Megan Devine to bring this to reality. From the bottom of my heart thank you ❤️ Please give this pod a listen it will enlighten you and bring you peace and hope.

Hope's DaughterListen right away! After the loss of my mom and miscarriage I relied on many podcasts and books in my healing. Megan’s podcast has helped me so much, her authenticity and honesty makes me feel less alone, thank you Megan! I highly recommend this podcast!

DCasenHealingWhen I lost my spouse, I read many books and listened to so many “grief experts,” but none of them helped me as much as reading Megan Devine’s book. So listening to her podcast was an easy sign me up. Because grief is on going and comes to us not just through someone close to us dying. It is happens to us in many form of our lives and this podcast helps navigate life through the struggle of grief.

mverni_ArtWhat a gift!Just recently found this wonderful podcast and it’s absolutely a gift for the soul!! For so many of us being rushed through our grief, no matter what kind it is, this is a whole new love language and I’m here for it! Incredible interviews and loving and thoughtful insights with just the right amount of snark as needed! Thank you for sharing this with us!

ValuesysDisappointedI love your book and thank you for every thing you have said about grief. I listened to season 2 episode one. I was expecting more help with my grief. Social statements are on the news everyday. The subject is important but not what I tuned in for. Who am I to determine your goal. Maybe the n Ct will be more n line with your calling

kksellers69Life savingI honestly don’t know how I could have survived the loss of my 22 year old son without everything Megan Divine. Her work reaches the darkest places in my soul. Her writing course, books, journals and pod casts have rescued me and saved me. Thank you Megan.

CanofwordsThe good stuffI.love.this.pod. Megan doesn’t shy away from complicated stuff - she goes there and brings back gold. Listen up. You’ll be all the richer for it.

Katiee_marieHelping me through!I can’t recommend Megan enough. Her book, journal and podcast are helping me navigate through the process of losing my mom to brain cancer. She touches on all types of grief. She is so real and helpful!

OskdjfnamamPerfect podcast on the subjectSuch crisp thought in the midst of murky loss.
-
ListeningislovingMust listenMegan does great work around grief & this addiction to her modes of delivery is much needed! Glad to have her having conversations
-
EM LovelandNo one helps with grief more effectivelyMegan’s belief and practice of helping us manage our grief rather than encouraging us to get over it and move on saved me. Grief must be discussed and brought into the mainstream rather than hidden and ignored and this podcast does just that. I highly recommend it to anyone grieving or trying to support someone who is.
-
ktb447The best!Thank you Megan for your beautiful communication of so many difficult but essential thoughts, processes, experiences. You always seem to beautifully express my feelings that I struggle to put words to in my grief. Your professionalism, kindness, caring, intelligence, sincerity and wisdom has been a gift. Thank you, thank you.
-
lisapresThis podcast IS Devine!I look forward to Monday nights just to hear the latest podcast by Megan. After I lost my son to suicide this past August, her book and her workbook have helped in ways that I can’t even describe. She has confirmed for me that grief has no timeline, good and bad days can co-exist during grief and you learn to carry your grief in your own way. Her voice is comforting and I feel like she is talking to me. Never condescending nor judgmental and she speaks from the heart because she’s been where I am - broken-hearted and grief-laden. I can’t say enough about her ‘presence’ in my journey. ❤️💚

nmraGrief for real lifeWhen the world does the unthinkable and takes someone so dear, it’s unbelievably hard to find something than resonates as much as Megan Devine.
-
daddy doyceThank you!You saved me by acknowledging ..it really is as bad as I say it is!!

mindbeggarThankfulSo thankful to have found this podcast. As a widow, it has been so hard to find information that resonates. So much understanding here. And hope.
-
Stc5074Changing how we relate to griefMeghan’s work is to help all of us be with our own and others’ grief in the most compassionate way possible. She is a crusader to help all humans be a little more human with each other. Thank you, Meghan.
-
c6benincaSo Interesting!Been really enjoying this podcast. I’ve taken something away from each episode. I’m not a healthcare provider - I am a teacher and there’s a lot of useful stuff here for an educator too. I love how intelligent and practical Megan’s advice is. And I’m always moved by her kindness and humanity. Great shows so far!
-
LannyKayEssential RespiteI am so thankful to Megan for naming these things and creating a room to safely coexist with the hardest parts of being a human. I found discovered the book first, about three years ago now, shortly after my mom was paralyzed in a car crash. I had no idea my pain should be called grief, and as someone secondarily affected by her condition, I did NOT feel entitled to grieve. But then, just like that, three and a half years after her accident, she died from those injuries. The pain is consuming and crushing all at once, but I feel (if only marginally) more equipped to cope with grief from death because I’ve already been honest with myself about my grief from the previous losses. Especially lost opportunity. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
-
ManikajaGreat interviewsThis podcast is really fun and deep all at once.
-
Reluctant PioneerSuch Powerful (and Loving) InformationI just discovered this podcast and really appreciate Megan’s insights and willingness to talk about grief — and encourage us to talk about it, too. I lost my husband a few years ago and am realizing I did not deal well with the grief.
-
PeaceDancer11Here After Episode 1I have followed Megan on IG for years. I just lost my Dad. I need a space to grieve. This won’t be my only support but loved the first episode. I want to live in an authentic world where everything is allowed- the grief, the lain and the joy. Thank you, Megan! On Apple the episode was on a wonky speed. 🤷♀️
-
71636272So excitedLoved Megan and her book. I’ve listened to it non stop every night to help drown the sorrows of life after grief because her words just understand me. Excited to know I can listen to new content now. Congrats!
-
hallieciochettySo ImportantThank you for starting this podcast. For brining attention to the difficult topic of grief and loss that everyone will experience. To love is to grieve at some point, and it’s been so taboo to talk about the pain associated with loss for so long. It is so isolating and can be awkward to talk about, but it’s needed and so necessary. Thank you for sharing your experiences and for talking about it being okay to discuss these things regardless of how hard or awkward it may be.
-
sbcullenSoooo HelpfulThis really helped me today. Dealing with the loss of a parent and I needed to hear all of this, thank you
-
nat1481So looking forward to this PodcastI recently lost my mother and one thing has lead to another and came across Megan just heard her first intro, and I’m so so very much looking forward to listening. It just feels right!
