    Bold voice
Grateful for a bold voice testifying of truth. I’ve been listening since the beginning (I was hooked from the moment she was a guest on Follow Him) and my mother and I often discuss what we are hearing! Carry on :)

Truth and love and pure gospel
A group of friends recommended Lili’s podcast. I loved it from the start. I am in awe of her testimony and her conviction even through the hardest of trials. She is a pillar of light. I live in her area and I’m waiting for the day I run into her at the grocery store so I can thank her face to face and give her the biggest most sincere hug. Worth a listen. Great content! She is honest and testifies of Christ in each episode. She truly makes me want to be a better human being.

    Gen Z loves Lili!!!
I feel like Lili is my soul sister. She seems to have the same fusion of interests in mental heath, the gospel, and politics that I do. NEVER STOP PODCASTING, LILI! There are so many amazing Come, Follow Me podcasts out there, but I feel like this one is made to minister directly to me! ❤️

I really enjoyed you on the Podcast “ Follow Him”so I started to listen to “Choosing Glory.” But since this is a public forum, I feel like you need to do your research before you give analysis with incorrect information. When you referred to the Pagan feast of Bacchus, also referred to as Dionysus, the God of Wine, presented at the French Olympics, you mentioned that it was a mockery of the Last supper. I have studied Greek and Roman mythology and this had nothing to do with the last supper. Now, it still may have been offensive to you, but your information was so incorrect that I figured you got it secondhand from some very unreliable source such as Fox News. If you can start getting research from other more honest places, I will start relistening.

    Choosing Glory
Three things I love about Lili de Hoyes Anderson’s podcast, Choosing Glory: 1. She is educated and knowledgeable about what’s going on in the world and applies it to how we should live in the gospel. 2. She brings in so many quotes from prophets and leaders that have passed away. Sometimes we forget the wonderful things that were said from leaders of the past. 3. Her example of tenacity. I’m in my 50’s and still need a mentor. She talks about how she feels and what she’s going through and I love how she shows that example of Christlike behavior. When things are hard and you don’t get what you want in the life, Lili just pushes on! Thank you for being that example for me.

    Refreshingly bold, but not overbearing
It’s a breath of fresh air to hear Lily speak without beating around the bush. I appreciate her style especially as a women in the church as I sometimes feel (myself included) we ladies can seek to speak soft, often speaking words without actually saying anything substantial to not offend.

No matter what episode I listen to, it’s always inspiring & encouraging. Life is hard & especially in these latter days, so thank you for sharing your light to brighten our days.

Choosing Glory Podcast is the Best!
If you want to help build your faith, knowledge, and testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ and the Come Follow Me curriculum I would recommend making time to listen to the Choosing Glory podcast. Sister Anderson has a wonderful and strong testimony and a deep and scholarly knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This combined with her professional background as a licensed marriage and family counselor makes for an inspiring and faith building podcast. She has a unique take on gospel principles and life’s challenges and she is always in line with our inspired leaders. Sister Anderson also has a Christlike way of teaching and is a true defender of truth. At times she is very personal and shares many of her own life lessons and challenges, as well as some of her experiences as a professional counselor. This makes the podcast so real and helps to apply the gospel every day living. I am so thankful for the work she does and have truly benefited from her wisdom and testimony. I highly recommend listening to Choosing Glory!

    Remember your covenants
I love listening to your podcast and hearing how you are turning to God through your trials. You are amazing person to share such sorrows with us and I admire that. I was saddened this week that you chose to criticize the women leadership of our church. I am sure you are very busy, but next time listen to the talk before you take the Salt Lake Tribune word for what they said. I feel like you would not criticize the men leaders so please have the same respect. Thanks for all your hard work!

Scripture Power and Modern day application
Sister Anderson was one of my favorite BYU professors. She was a delight then 20 years ago and is even more of a delight to me today. I am so glad that I discovered her podcast, this podcast is the only Come Follow Me podcast I listen to weekly now. She is so knowledgeable about the scriptures and also so good at applying the teachings to us in our modern day. I love her commentary on cultural/societal issues as well. This woman is BOLD and VALIANT in her testimony of Jesus Christ! Thank you Lili!

Lili is just so great at explaining the gospel! I’ve had counseling from her years ago and when I first heard and saw her as a guest on another podcast I was so happy! Our own Latter Day Saint Dr. Laura
I absolutely love Lili, her book and this podcast. She brings a unique perspective from her background in Marriage and Family Counseling when discussing the scriptures and our Come Follow Me curriculum. She is able to easily point out how the various scriptures apply to my life in ways I hadn’t thought of. She gives excellent advice on applying gospel principles in our marriages and familial relationships and I’m so impressed with her depth of knowledge of the scriptures and the ease in translating a principle into real life applicability. This podcast has become a weekly necessity. She is such a gift to the body of Christ.

    Real life application
I first heard Lili Anderson speak at a stake women’s conference here in Colorado. Everything she said made so much sense to me and resonated with me in my mothering. I have her little book A Better Way and also Choosing Glory. I love the way she applies the gospel to life, parenting, and relationships. I am an independent facilitator for “Parenting the Love and Logic Way”(R). As I’m presenting these concepts, I have tried to help members of our church see how her 3 realms model informs us with love and logic. This podcast has been a tremendous continuation to her books and gives me a huge desire to trust in God every day as she exhorts us to do. Thank you Lili for your teachings.

    An Added Benefit
I love her gospel insights. They are absolutely tremendous! Yet, I also love the tidbits she sprinkles through about family and relationships. Isn’t that also what life is about? It has helped me to understand how I can be a better parent, sister, and friend. These little nuggets are very valuable to me and add to the light that Lili offers us. Thank you!!!

    Scripture Power!
I found Dr. Anderson after hearing her as a guest speaker on the Follow Him podcast. I love her insights, I love her knowledge of the Scriptures and her stories help me apply principles in real time . Even if I don’t agree with her on some subjects, it at least opens my mind to pondering and considering other view points. Thank you, Dr. Anderson, I can’t wait for your book on boundaries to come out.

    Awesome podcast
So happy I found this podcast 💞

    Not for everyone
She is very dogmatic and keeps going into anti LGBTQ+ rhetoric. I just wanted to hear about Peter and the book of Acts and suddenly she’s going off about how sexual orientation isn’t biological. Quoting a talk from 1994. As someone who is undergoing a faith transition, I don’t see any nuance. Plus, I’d probably be on her “people to avoid” list.
  • katrinatess
Speaks almost exclusively about LGBTQ now and it’s getting old
Look, I love Lili. I agree with most all she says. But this podcast needs a new title and rebranding. Anymore, EVERY SINGLE WEEK, no matter what the Come Follow Me reading is, she winds her way into connecting it to an anti-gay and transgender focus and spends the majority of the episode talking about LGBTQ stuff. I don’t disagree with her stance, but lately the reading has been about Jesus Christ’s Atonement, Crucifixion, Resurrection, etc. — the crux of our Savior’s mission — and she STILL has to give thirty-plus freaking minutes to get into LGBTQ stuff? Are you kidding me?! As if you don’t have anything else to talk about? It’s her podcast; I get that she can use her time for whatever she wishes to speak on. But it’s gotten to the point where she needs to now brand her podcast in a way that you know what you’re getting into.

    Great Insights!
Thank you is much for the podcast! It’s such a great way to learn the gospel while I’m going about my day-to-day activities. I love the real life applications and bold and courageous outlook. Many thanks!

    Dogmatic and orthodox
This podcast has a very fundamentalist bent to the LDS doctrine. Dogmatic, condescending and ultra orthodox. Many mainstream members will love this podcast, it paints the world as wicked and encourages members to hold onto your exalted state until Christ comes again to burn the world and destroy our enemies. I admire this woman’s dedication to her faith and the time she takes to share it. But if only speaks to a specific kind of Mormon.

    Love this podcast!
Such a relevant and timely perspective. I heard Lili on the Follow Him podcast and loved her insight and was so excited to find her here! I love that she is able to combine her professional experience and observations from working with couples and families as a therapist with the principles of the gospel to share really valuable wisdom and understanding. She always provides me much to consider and reflect on. A favorite podcast for certain!

    Pharisee
I am an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I would argue that this woman is doing more to drive people away from the church. This podcast is perfect if you are a judgmental mother sitting upon her rameumptum who is so focused on how unrighteous everyone else is. Lili would get along so well with the Pharisees of old. There was no speaking with the spirit at all. There was a major focus on how unrighteous members are and an implication of how righteous lili is. If she actually cares about advancing the message of Christ she will take this podcast down and remove all methods of communication from her grasp so she can’t spread the message of the Pharisees any longer

    Real life applications
Sister Anderson is a master at taking scripture and applying the doctrine and wisdom to every day life- especially to our relationships with others. A clear and needed message.

    My favorite podcast!!
I love everything Dr. Anderson has to say in her podcasts. Her faith, insights, and approaches are like a breath of fresh air. She is a straight talker who says it like it is, expressing it with love. She brings to the gospel a happy heart with years of education and experience. She is a joy to listen to, and I feel uplifted every time I listen to her. Thank you so much for producing this!

    So inspiring!
Every episode inspires me to be better, to try harder, to keep going. I can feel The Spirit speaking to me through Sister Anderson’s words. I feel the truth of what she says. I can’t thank her enough for taking the time to share herself with us. She is changing my life.

    Faith Building
Excellent! Lili is faith-building and uplifting. This podcast is exactly what we need to fill our minds with light! Question—where can I learn more about this concept of being anti-fragile? I love what I hear about it but I’m not sure where to go to learn more.

    Comment about false memory foundation
Dr. Anderson, in todays show you mentioned the false memory foundation and that you wrote your dissertation about it. As a psychologist myself I am curious to know more—as my exposure to this foundation is that it was created by and supported by known and professed pedophiles. I would be interested in knowing your position on it. I have a client who regularly listens to your podcast and was extremely distraught to hear what she felt was support of this foundation and no longer will listen to your podcast. I would actually love to read your dissertation if I knew where you have it published. Regards—Dr. Carol Conrad

Podcast is a total mic drop!
This podcast is fantastic. I enjoy listening to Lili’s perspective. The episode about Jonah was the topic of conversation around our Thanksgiving table and in a nutshell it was a mic drop in so many ways. Please keep sharing your testimony and perspective. It’s a source of strength in the days we are living in currently.
