So much fun to listen to
The hosts have such wonderful rapport, and they pick such interesting topics. I'm just a random NYer, and I've learned so much about everyday Norwegian life. I discovered it recently, and I'm rationing episodes because I'll be sad when I run out. I hope they start up again!

Fun pod for travel to Norway
Really enjoyed learning quirky culture habits in Norway in a casual format. Everything I experienced traveling in Norway for a month was somehow explained in a friendly and fun way. Thanks NFN!

    Lovely Show & Amazing Hosts
I love listening to this show and could not help but binging ever single one of their episodes. Informative and funny! I love the news segments and the international perspective. Highly recommend to anyone who is interested in learning Norwegian or interested in Norwegian culture.

    Informative and a good time
I’m an American on a Norway kick after learning more about my genealogy. This podcast is casual and fun—hosts have great chemistry, pacing & show topics. I dig it.

    Really Fun Podcast
I found this because I am traveling to Norway in a few weeks. I was in Bergen briefly last year and fell in love with Norway. This is a must listen for those planning a trip!

    New BFFs!
UPDATE: Your taco episode was great! I waited to listen until I could give it my full attention. You gave a shout out to Mexicans from California and I felt like you were raising the bat signal for me: I’m Mexican-American and I grew up in California and I have many, many thoughts about tacos in Norway! If you ever want to do a Taco Part II episode, sign me up as your guest! (By the way, my trip to Norway last year was great and I ate more hotdogs in one week than I ever have it my life.) — I’m traveling to Norway for the first time ever in early Aug 2022 and I’ve listened to every single one of your episodes in preparation. I even retold the story of King Magnus and King Harald and the toddler ski race to all of my friends here at home! You guys have a great vibe. Please keep it up! I need more episodes! I feel like we are old friends now, in a non-creepy way, of course. I can’t wait for my trip to Oslo y Lillehammer y Bergen. By the way, I am Mexican-American, and when I was a kid, my mom would make me hot dogs wrapped up in tortillas and it was great. Can’t wait to do that with lefse! Also, I used to live in Minnesota in the States, which has a huge Norwegian-American population, and I loooooved lefse and can’t wait to eat loads of it in Norway. Skol!

Whoa, My Mom Makes More Sense Now
I feel like I have all these inside jokes with you guys now, only you don’t really know me. Still, it feels like you’ve invited me into your world and made me a part of it. I freaking love the podcast Normal for Norway. I’m waiting for its companion podcast to be produced: North Dakota is almost as Norwegian is Norway. I’m looking forward to next season. Hurry up and make that – there’s stuff I want to know. For example, can you tell us more about this Norwegian Wikipedia?

    Facts & Fiction
I appreciate the use of all the stats and facts. The podcast is almost an infomercial on random Norwegian truths, sprinkled with experiences of the hosts and people they’ve encountered. It’s a fun and relaxed show to listen to.
