    So hilarious!
I hope this podcast returns soon because it is not just the funniest Survivor podcast I listen to, it is the funniest podcast I listen to period.

    My Thoughts Exactly
I love listening to y’all rehash the good, the bad, and the misbehaving of each episode. I love watching a season, getting revved up about stuff, then listening to y’all say exactly what I’m thinking! It’s like having two friends in my pocket watching season by season witb me. Thanks for being my para-social friends for my survivor journey!

    Beep beep beep *laughter moment*
I wanted to get into survivor but so much of the fan discourse is so full of racism, homophobia, and sexism. Appreciate you two for calling these elements what they are and also for making me laugh out loud on my commute. I love how long the episodes are and of course the casting special at the end of each season

    My favorite historical Survivor podcast
Went through a hard time a couple years ago and started watching Survivor from square one, around that time found this podcast and have had many needed laughs from this hilarious podcast. Now my wife and I watch Survivor together and I still keep up with the recaps from my job even the next day after watching an episode. Just wanted to update that I am finally current with the podcast after listening starting at square one in 2022! What am I supposed to listen to now while I’m at work!

    Hilarious and Unique
I recently discovered the podcast on my survivor rewatch and I fell in love immediately. Caroline and Kate’s chemistry, wit, and approach to Survivor reviewing is unmatched by any pod I’ve listened to so far. I cannot wait for the next recap, featuring iconic moments like the Treasure Island reward and Amanda attempting to convince Parvati to idol herself. Hoping for many more seasons of laughs and fun!

    Great!
This should be more popular! PS so want to hear your feelings about 46.

A Folder Full of Sad Colby’s
My first Survivor season was Australian Outback when it first aired. I was a teen and enjoyed it, but my interest fizzled out around Marquesas. I’ve rediscovered Survivor 20 years later and Caroline & Kate are the best rewatch guides I could ask for, tracing the castaways’ arcs, pointing out the inherent weirdness of old reality TV, and low key building a compelling psychological profile for Jeff Probst.

Really fun and professional fan podcast
Caroline and Kate do a great job! They have an easy familiar chemistry with one another. Each episode is outlined and organized well enough that you know where the train is headed, and it gives them some room to take detours which are always fun. Survivor isn’t a show hurting for additional commentary, so it’s pretty impressive when people can bring new insights to a show that has been talked about so much, and Caroline and Kate do that pretty consistently. Their commentary around Parvati and Jerri’s dynamic in particular always cracks me up. I came in just wanting to listen to my favorite seasons, but these are the type of podcasters you end up just wanting to hang out with.

    So funny and interesting takes
Love hearing their thoughts on the players, Jeff, the competitions, and strategy. So funny! Sometimes they take long breaks but there is lots of past episodes to listen to while you wait.

    👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This podcast was surprisingly hard to find, I must’ve searched for survivor podcasts a dozen times before I stumbled upon this one. I’m incredibly glad that I did though, it’s very funny, and I’ve listened to 12 seasons of it in the past 3 weeks. It has a perspective no other podcast I’ve found has, I love the discussions of early seasons from a relatively recent point of view. I appreciate their keeping the discussions spoiler-free, as a first-time viewer of the show, it’s proves to be a pretty wonderful companion. It’s a great podcast, and it seems to be pretty unique in the world of survivor podcasts, give it a listen, it’s worth it.

I love this podcast so much! It’s fun to re-live my favorite survivor seasons and get a laugh or 50 in the process!

    Witty, profound, and completely absurd
These girls add a new dimension of enjoyment to the survivor series. I had watched the show as a childhood fanatic and fell off somewhere as an adult. Now rediscovering my obsession in my 30s it has been a blast rewatching the show and this podcast is the perfect companion piece. The girls modern take on the viewpoints of the early 00s is both hilarious and savvy. And their casting each of season is pure gold. For me it felt like a book club I couldn’t wait to hear from after watching a cluster of episodes. Love your work ladies!! Just wished I could keep binging, but now that I’ve caught up I guess I need to find a new survivor podcast. All the best!!

    I love this podcast!
I’m so glad I found this podcast when I started my survivor binge a couple months ago. This is by far my favorite survivor-themed show. I love Caro and Kate’s chemistry and the way they recap each episode, it’s like I get to relive the episodes I just watched. Thanks for all your hard work ladies, I hope you keep the podcast going! Definitely give this podcast a listen.

I’ve never loved a podcast so much
It’s almost absurd how good Kate and Caro are. I was late to the Survivor party and was so happy to find a modern podcast reflecting on older seasons. Their commentary is excellent, but the real pinnacle of the episodes is how wildly funny they both are and how genuinely they crack each other up. I belly-laugh more at this podcast than any other. They’re compassionate, lovely, smart, hilarious friends who make a warm and inviting slice of media. A real treasure. They have a forever listener.

Ruth Marie might not be a smasher… BUT THESE TWO ARE!!!
I just started watching Survivor this past summer and this podcast has played such a major role in shaping my love for the show. When something funny/annoying/amazing happens I immediately think “I can’t WAIT to hear what Kate and Caroline have to say about this”. Even when things are slow (especially recap episodes, yes I do watch them as I’m committed to watching every single episode) I look forward to these two telling me how boring it is! Keep it going, I can’t wait to listen for many seasons more :)

i would die for this podcast
simply iconic lol. there are approximately a million survivor podcasts and this one is #1 hands down, no contest. i’ve had the time of my life catching up on these old school seasons with kate and caro and i’m SO excited for the ones that are coming up… this next stretch of seasons?? oh my god lol. anyway run don’t walk, can’t wait to spend the next (checks math) 5 years with you guys, lfg!!!

Love these ladies and the pod
Prior to a month and a half ago I hadn’t watched a single episode of Survivor ever. A good friend convinced me to watch season 19 for the drama that is Russell Hantz and I became hooked immediately. After watching seasons 19 and 20 less than a week I decided I should start from the beginning to watch the progression of the game. I’m currently watching season 6 and have already came across several familiar faces from the season 20 Heroes vs Villians cast and I’m loving seeing them in their original seasons. I quickly decided I needed a podcast to go on this ride with me so I searched and found Survivor Rewind and couldn’t be happier. They catch things I miss through out the episodes and make me excited for the coming seasons. Warning: They do spoil some of the winners so I like to listen after I finish the season.

    Come back!!
I’ve been really enjoying this show and I really hope they continue it!

    Love this podcast!!!
I’m a new survivor watcher and I love listening to this podcast! Kate and Caroline are so fun and funny I just want to be their friends and watch and talk to them about survivor all day. I find myself being like “okay just watch one more episode so you can listen to the survivor rewind episode”. Basically I’m obsessed. Thanks for the amazing content!!

    My favorite podcast!
I’m a newer survivor watcher (started from the beginning about a year and a half ago) and have really really enjoyed having your podcast to listen to along with watching! You guys are hilarious and so relatable and feel like real friends of mine and I actually audibly laugh listening! Our opinions pretty much always line up (middle aged women fan forever!) and I have to say your podcast is my favorite (not just of survivor podcasts)! Thank you so much for the content and I hope you guys are back soon!!

    It's Me, I'm Sorry
Listen, I get it. Picking a new podcast can be scary. "Another survivor podcast?" you might say, and to you I say YES, it is another Survivor podcast, and I am very sorry but you have to listen to it. I know, I know, you only have but 1 life on this Earth, but you have to spend a sizable percentage of it listening to these two ladies talking about 22 year old reality tv stars and which would be played by Meryl Streep vs Bea Arthur. These two hosts are phenomenal. They are fun, loony, so incredibly compassionate, and listening to them feels like I get to eavesdrop on two of my coworkers in the break-lounge who have hilarious opinions about a show I'm also watching but I'm too afraid to sit at their table. You could listen to a thousand podcasts where people are interviewing champs, breaking moments down into sports-like strategic play-by-plays and making Colby fan fiction, but what is truly unique about this show is the sincere enthusiasm and heart for the little moments and interactions that above all else make Survivor a social experiment. They make such effort to not judge someone by their politics or future actions beyond the show- unless and until someone is harmed by it. They seek out the best in each contestant, which in many seasons is harder said than done. This is a Lillian Morris safe space. "Look, being an annoying person is hard." is a phrase I want tattooed across my chest now. I don't know what else I can say, it's my favorite podcast of all time. I wish there was more I could do to support them. I don't know how alogorithms with podcasts or whatever work, but seeing that there's only 26 reviews on Itunes at the time of my writing this fills me with a chilling realization that we truly need to do better as a society. To the hosts of the show I say this: Please don't change a single thing, you are doing great. I love you very much and you are such constellations. However much feedback you get from listeners, just know that you are being heard. I look forward to hearing you every week, and I feel like I am a kinder, softer person from having listened to your insights. Just know that if ever I get cast on Survivor, I will be name-dropping your show non-stop. Trish from Cagayan would be played by Toni Collette.

    My 1-Sided Internet Survivor Friendship!
I’m late to survivor (sorry everyone), and no one wants to hear me talk about what happened in 2005. Luckily, this podcast is a hilarious and thorough recap of each episode with all the meta-info I’m terrified to look up online (for fear of spoilers). Thanks Kate and Caroline!

    Survivor Should be Paying You!!!
I,so thoroughly, enjoy this podcast!!! I have listened to your episodes first, and THEN decide whether or not I’m going to watch the season! I am currently watching Vanuatu, and am enjoying it so much more because I have your commentary in the back of my mind. I didn’t even realize how much I appreciate the “impressions” until I absolutely cackle each time Scout or Ami say a thing that I e heard one of you impersonate. It’s the best...I’m so stinking glad entertained!! You better believe I’m watching All-Stars next, so that I can have your Rupert impersonations in the back of my mind as I enjoy. I am so very entertained, and will be listening and re-listening forever ever!!! ❤️❤️❤️

A great companion to watching Survivor
This podcast is great. Came for the commentary, stayed for the Lil and Rupert impressions.

    Love love love it!
Do I need more survivor in my life? Probably not. Do I need these two mad cap gals? Definitely. Excellent combo of analysis, humor, and fan exuberance. It’s a great way to relive some of those classic seasons.

    Fun Listen
Binging Survivor with the family & this podcast has been a big part of my post-show dog walking hour. Witty women whose opinion I usually share. Very much a Friend of the Pod. 😊

Not for new (young) survivor fans
As a brand new fan who just started Borneo, I was thrilled to find this podcast. The audio quality is incredible. The hosts are so funny and have well thought out ideas. I was so disappointed when within the first 20 mins, they revealed the winner of the season. Disappointing, but ultimately not a huge deal. I figured I would just listen to the episodes after finishing the whole season. But then in the second episode, they gave minor spoilers and strong foreshadowing for both Australia and All Stars (enough for me to parse out what happens). If you’ve already seen them and want to watch again, this is the pod for you. This is NOT for people new to survivor.

    Like watching with friends
I discovered survivor shortly after quarantine began. Watching a show everyone else watched 20 years ago can be lonely, but this is like having friends to talk about the episodes with.

    beep beep! great podcast alert!
The hosts are funny, observant, opinionated, and have a great sense of what makes Survivor such a fascinating show to rewatch. An addicting listen!

    You two are the best!
Thank you for the laughter that you have given me! It’s such a relief and joy to have your commentary. : )

Exactly the Deep Dive Survivor Needed
Sure, you'll get the strategy and gameplay as these two look back at every episode, but what you're here for is two smart and funny women commenting on the great and weird moments over 20 years. They come with a fresh perspective where they both love the show, but can hold it accountable for its shortcomings. The end-of-season casting is an absolute highlight.
  • rmg601
One of the best survivor podcasts
Love how much fun you both have.... great perspectives, in depth review, love the hypothetical movie casting at the end of the seasons. I started watching all of the survivor seasons during COVID, so it’s been fun to listen to another perspective. Love that you’re in the Boston area too! :)
  • CaseyFlemingo
    Excellent podcast
This podcast is everything I wanted out of a survivor podcast. I love all the discussions, and the movie casting at the end of a season is always a blast. I really look forward to every episode.
  • Girrface
Like watching with two hilarious friends
If you need a show to get completely obsessed with and some friends to go on the journey with you, try this out. These gals are so fun and it’s great to have a 2020 perspective on the early seasons. Keep them coming !
