Anxious KenEpisode 180Such a heartfelt message, Taylor. Suicide is a tragedy and an epidemic. I am active with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). We are the leading grassroots mental health organization in the country with local chapters in every major city, 48 State organizations and a National office in D.C. We offer mental health support groups, psycho education and advocacy for mental health legislation and public policy. We were instrumental in developing the 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline. Our main message to those suffering from mental illness is: “YOU ARE NOT ALONE.” You and Alison are doing great work. Lots of useful information with a good dose of kindness and compassion. BrittneyNicole444I HAVE NEVER FELT SO SEENLast year my anxiety and panic was at an all time high. And I felt so alone: because no one around me understood. But this podcast has helped me realize it’s not just me, I’m not alone, and it’s okay to not be okay. Specifically the most recent episode of fear of death.. and everything Taylor said brought me to tears. So many times I’ve looked at my kids or my life and felt like I wanted to stay in that moment forever. And never leave them.

ieioeoeoeoCommercialsI do enjoy listening to you gals but Your commercials are getting ridiculous always interrupting the podcast. Makes me want to shut it off . Lately it’s like listening to a pretty litter infomercial rather than any guidance.

Dcon BMy best companionI love everything you do! I follow both of your IG, I used Purity CBD and follow your podcasts. Your point of views, knowing we are not alone or weirdos, and knowing that we can function and live with anxiety is such a relief. Hearing you out and watching your posts on Instagram, are a daily routine. I wish I could find a chapter where you talk about airport anxiety. I’m trying to use the flying chapters, but my fear is more about all the steps to get inside that plane!

MeganSchulte17Review!So I had my first nocturnal panic attack caused by I think stress in august and since then have been diagnosed with health anxiety, generalized anxiety, and panic disorder. As one of the people who have got to the emergency room because of the severity of my symptoms I can say that this podcast has given me so much validation and useful information! I now have a toolkit that is growing each day and the affirmation of my thoughts and feeling thanks to this podcast. I’ve had tears stream down my face because of the reality that I am not alone in this and my feelings and symptoms are validated! You guys have gotten me through a difficult and scary season of my life but with your guys tips and platform you have helped me see that my life will continue to flourish and grow even with my diagnosis! I can’t thank you enough for this ❤️🥺

ninaa510Sent from heaven! This is such an amazing anxiety podcast! For someone who’s been struggling with anxiety for 10 years + The Anxiety Chicks podcast, has been so helpful and beneficial in my anxiety recovery. They teach you a lot of ways to manage your anxiety, they also talk about ways then you can relax, and or show you ways to take steps into managing your anxiety for the best. they have been through anxiety, so they know the inns and outs as to how anxiety works, and how anxiety can take a good chunk of your life if you don’t know how to manage it. Hands-down this is one of the best podcasts for anxiety! If any of you need any direction as to how to start your journey into managing your anxiety, then this is the best place to start.

I also have started using purity thanks to Taylor! Can’t wait to catch up to the current episodes and see what you both have in store for the future!

Pelo girlExcellent communicatorsHello Ladies. I found your podcast after an Md appt in 06/2023 where I explained to MD anxiety symptoms 8-10 days prior to period. I’m not into psych meds. I’m 51 pre-menopause. So I turned to looking for other options and found you. Since, I have heard several podcast including the one on PMS pMDD. All your podcasts are super informative and realistic. I really like your voices and enjoy the conversation you have, I feel like I’m there with you. Thank you so much for the help you give to us ladies no matter what stage in life we are in. Question: I would like to know how to decompress after a rough work day. I work with drug addiction patients and my daughter is a teacher at a low performing school in California. How can we reset after tough day. Any recommendations will be so appreciated. Take care and stay well. Jeannette C.

Erica.D.O.Not everyone gets treated equally by Dr.’sI love the podcast, I really do, and it has helped me so much with certain areas. However I find it so frustrating ( although I am so happy for you ) it’s awful when dr.’s treat certain people so differently. You are blonde, beautiful, intelligent, wealthy… so of course you get the best help there is- even if it takes a second opinion. Dr.’s in my area and from my experience completely ignore and hate to treat Hispanics, African Americans, etc. they hate to treat if your overweight… all they say is loose weight, you’ll feel better. The minority population is so understated. My sister age 31 died in her sleep. She had been to countless dr.’s for help with insomnia and possible sleep apnea , no one took her seriously because she was Mexican and overweight. The medical system failed her. She tried so hard , but was so discouraged after each visit because these professionals treated her so poorly. They had no idea she was an attorney, and my sister was so humble she never mentioned it. She was very humble- and it killed her because she didn’t show up in designer clothes, skinny, blonde. I truly have lost all faith in the American medical system. It’s not fair you got so many tests… she advocated , begged and got nothing. And DIED! it’s not fair. I’ll never understand it. That girl begged her Dr.’s and all they ever said is “you will feel better once you Loose weight, bye”. Truly disturbing

Liv531!Anxiety HealingGetting more into podcasts .. This one is certainly top choice! Seems like my anxiety has really spiked in my adulthood, following some traumatic experiences and just the many events in the world that have impacted us all. Healing and self care are a priority and this podcast is part of my toolkit. Have recommended to others as well!

JohnrfloresGreat anxiety podcast! As a longtime sufferer of Anxiety and panic disorder, it gives me such a relief to listen to these ladies give personal stories and psychological insights on anxiety disorders. I also enjoy the guest episodes and listening to other’s experiences in other aspects of mental disorders. Tori1144My favorite podcast!!I am newer to both podcast listening and healing my anxiety, and I am so grateful to have come across the Anxiety Chicks. I have suffered for years with anxiety and always felt like no one would understand what was happening to me. I’ve been listening for about two weeks now and feel so heard and understood as I go through each episode. I feel I’m taking away so much from Alison and Taylor, it’s like they just know what I need to hear. I’ve been recommending to everyone!
