    Thank you, Dr. Feraz!
Highly recommend this show to those studying for the CNS exam as well. The one on metabolic acidosis vs alkalosis was a lifesaver!

    Great format!
There are several RD exam podcasts but this one is my favorite. It’s well organized and paced. Starting each episode with a question then doing a topic review and then returning to the question to talk about each option helps solidify concepts. There are also fun tips to remember concepts in each episode and even when I think “I’ll never remember that” I find myself thinking about it when I encounter it in practice questions.

    Great podcast!
So helpful! I’m only giving 4 stars because it’s really quiet and hard to hear if there is any other background noise going on. Love the content, explanations, and fun ways to remember the material. Thank you!
  • Gonjjaferrarisucsuc
    Too quiet
The content is pretty good but it’s near impossible to listen to in most contexts. This is the quietest podcast I have ever heard and to turn the volume all the way up and still not hear it is not only annoying, it’s a dealbreaker. Can’t listen to this in the car, or with headphones in during daily life activities if there is ANY outside noise whatsoever.

    Awesome!
Who can’t resist checking out a show with such a clever name? And RDN Feraz does NOT disappoint with the fantastic pneumonics to help retain the vast amount of information we need to know! (Gotta hear the Chicken Teaching Cricket story in the Pancreatic enzyme episode.) His knowledge amazes me but I certainly have appreciated his ability to find mental connections to objects that help me remember important information. Thank you for a great show & best of luck in your career!

    Appreciate your work!
I took my exam on Monday and passed! Thank you Dietitian Feraz for creating this podcast! It’s popular all around the Internet and there’s a good reason why! You provide a sense of clarity and humor throughout, which makes the learning experience fun and engaging. There are quite a few on here that were very helpful giving me aha moments. In fact, the night before I took my exam, I was listening to the Focus PDCA– not my favorite topic – but I had a question on it! So crazy cool! I thank you for all your hard work on this podcast and wish you all the amazing success in your grad work! - Detria

    THANK YOU!!
This podcast and corresponding Instagram account has helped sooo much! Feraz explains the concepts so well while also providing mnemonics to remember. After listening to each episode I feel so much more confident and I love that he teaches concepts with CDR practice questions because as I’ve learned it’s more than just knowing the concepts it’s also understanding WHAT the question is truly asking you. Thank you!!!
  • overachieverr
    Highly recommend, SO HELPFUL!
These podcasts help you understand concepts and he also provides so many ways to remember concepts via little acronyms. He makes it fun and helps you absorb info easily! All RD2bes would highly benefit from listening! Thank you RD Feraz!!

    This is a wonderful resource
It’s an easy way to review useful concepts. It also takes away some of the stress and anxiety from trying to study for the exam by yourself. I listen to it when I go to the gym and it gets me through my workout. His nerdisms are great.

Why Didn’t You Find This Before?!
These podcasts are absolutely the best and the greatest find for anyone studying for the RD or DTR exam. Dr. Feraz is great at breaking down concepts you didn’t know or thought you knew but didn’t really understand in practice. He uses quirky and fun examples to make it simple and goes through the questions with rationale to guide you. Dr. Feraz(don’t know if you’ve defended your thesis as yet but you’re way better than fried chicken😂) I will continue to pray for God’s blessings in yours and your family’s life). Thankful that even while having a plateful of work he does these; hopefully when he’s completed his PhD. there will be more podcasts.
  • cjb5000
SO valuable. I remember everything he talks about.
This is a MUST-LISTEN for anyone studying for the RD exam. I wish there were more episodes. Faraz is such an excellent teacher. Every time I see a practice question (elsewhere) about something he covers, I get it right. He does such a good job of going into just enough detail that I understand the topic well enough to remember and apply the information, but not so much that it’s overkill. At first, I thought his mnemonics were silly, but they really help!

    A top study resource!!
I absolutely have loved listening to this podcast while I’m studying for the RD exam. Dietitian Feraz walks through concepts in a way that’s so easy and entertaining to listen to, and also uses relatable and fun references throughout the episodes to keep us engaged. The topics he goes over are such a nice review and not too in depth to where it’s more than we need to know, but also just enough to where it clicks. So grateful for this resource to supplement my other study materials!!!
  • giav1993

    LOVE dietitian feraz!
I’m a week out from my test and I’m loving listening to these throughout the day. He does a great job of explaining the topics requested and using mnemonics to remember things. I can now easily recite the food borne intoxication’s , specificity vs sensitivity, pancreatic enzymes.... etc . Highly recommend !!! 🙏

So Helpful! Please make more episodes🙂
I love how this podcast breaks down concepts into understandable pieces. Feraz is entertaining to listen to and gives just the right amount of information. My only complaint is that there aren’t more episodes. I would love to have weekly episodes! I would gladly pay to have more episodes.

    Great reinforcement
It’s always nice to hear things explained in a conversational way- helps bring them into context. That’s what the exam is all about! Great podcast.

    Amazing resource!!!
Dietitian Feraz is very knowledgeable and presents material in an easy to understand format. He also provides practice questions and breaks down the answers.
  • RD Alyssa
    Thankful for this podcast!
It took me a few tries to pass the RD exam but I’m so so grateful I found this podcast! The questions and explanations Feraz gives helped me understand the concepts better and definitely helped me pass the exam! I would listen to the podcast cast on my commutes to and from work. It’s a lot easier to listen to than Jean Inman on long commutes. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone in the dietetics field! No matter if they’re a student, intern, exam eligible or dietitian.
  • Scara Willi
    Amazing and Super Helpful!
This is one of the best resources out there to study and it’s FREE?! Heck yes! He has such a quirky and unique way of presenting information that it sticks in your brain. I can not express how much this podcast helped me out when I started studying again after failed attempts.
  • TinchoTesini
    Awesome study tool!
Other than the Inman book, I found this podcast one of the best tools to study for the CDR exam. The way topics are explained and the constant effort to create good mnemonics is worth listening in itself. Loved it, will continue listening!
  • kbee🖤
    Awesome!
Dietitian Feraz was one of my professors during my undergrad education. He was always enthusiastic and relatable. He’s with the times and makes learning enjoyable. I’m so happy I found his podcast because I’ve been struggling listening to other audio for the RD exam. I wish there were more episodes out since my exam date is around the corner 😭 this podcast will be extremely helpful for future RD2be!

    The Best Podcast Ever
I was introduced to this podcast by one of the interns (now RD 😊) from my internship program. Although I am only just starting my internship, I absolutely love this podcast. The podcast is also on Instagram, where Dietitian Feraz posts a question each day from the RD exam! If you slide over to the next picture in the post, the correct answer and rationale is provided. I love being able to test myself daily with these questions. The podcasts are amazing. Each starts off with questions from the exam that are later answered after the concepts are explained in the episode. The episodes are highly informational, humorous and explain the concepts in a perfect way! I highly recommend if you are a RD to be, dietetic intern or even dietetic student!
  • nutritionfitz
    Great resource for studying!
This is such a great podcast! He goes over different topics in detail and makes it easier to understand different concepts. I love that in each podcast we also get the opportunity to try answering questions and then he explains the why for the correct answer and why the other answers are incorrect. I highly recommend this podcast to all Rd2Bes!
  • eeelliottt2
    So helpful!!
This podcast is amazing because it helps with clarifying some of the most important topics that we need to understand for the exam. He gives fun ways to remember topics along with explaining them in a different way than the most commonly heard of explanations. The practice questions are also wonderful, especially since he goes through and explains why each of the answer choices are wrong or right. Can't wait for more episodes!!!
  • Shaynuh_jay
Clear and to the point !
Love this podcast! The episodes are short and sweet. In the beginning he gives great appetizer questions to get your mind thinking then he goes over them in detail at the end of the episode. So happy I found this podcast! It’s been super helpful for me to review topics as I’m studying for the RD exam. Looking forward to more episodes 😃
  • Greekfula
    One of the best teachers
I was thrilled to have heard about this podcast. As a former student of Dietitian Feraz, I always appreciated his teaching style. He is respectful, kind, and truly believes in each of his students. He explains concepts with clarity and conciseness. He pauses just at the right time, in order to help your brain catch up- it’s truly a gift. My favorite is when he explains how to distinguish concepts, as opposed to just defining them. I take my RD exam soon-ish and will for sure be using this resource to help me review and get more confident.
  • srose28
    So good!!
So happy I found this podcast! I love the variety of topics and his explanations are actually interesting and easy to understand. This has been a great way to supplement my studying! I will recommend to all my RD2B friends!

    Podcast 5/5
This is podcast is amazing!!!!!!!!!! I really dont write reviews for anything unless I totally believe in it. The explanations are explained so well that even the most confusing topics are understood!! I use to listen to the podcasts while I was driving and would do the questions too , it was an amazing resource to use
  • EdieJoy
    Very effective
I’ve been studying for the RD exam for almost two months now. I just discovered this podcast through a friends recommendation and am so glad to have it as a review! Each episode is 30-40 minutes so it’s a great way to switch up how I’m studying since it’s audio. At the beginning some practice questions are asked; I answer them on my phone in my notes and just listen to later find if I had already known the answers and more importantly the WHY behind each answer. I love that concepts and key words are emphasized and repeated throughout the podcast. Can’t wait for what else is to come! I highly recommend listening.
  • Zemiraase
