Ethan talks about really great subjects in this podcast and has knowledgeable guests. He talks about all the things I wish I had been taught before I had to learn the hard way.

The Paul Tazewell interview was yet another excellent and successful episode. They keep getting better and better. ARTISTIC FINANCE interviews with such successful designers like Paul makes it clear how important it is for young designers to really understand the BUSINESS of “Show Business”!

Much Like a TapDancing Turtle this podcast is unbelieveable. My years in The Arts has always had me stressed when it comes to finance and this show is an amazing asset to be able to allow the next generation to lean on the wisdom and knowledge of people who are beyond succeeding!

Love this podcast and its host! Really interesting to listen to the perspective of various artists in all fields. I’m a music director and an educator. Most students I work with do not know much about the business of the business.

As a young artist, Artistic Finance is the perfect way to learn what I should be doing to become more financially sound, while getting to know more about top artists in my field. Ethan is shattering the myth that artists need to be poor and starving one episode at a time. His guests give me hope in these bleak times that a financially stable career in the arts is attainable.

Ethan’s charm is palpable. It’s refreshing to hear artists talking about finance in such a relaxed and casual way. More people in our industry need to let go of the stigma of talking about money.

And Ethan tell’s it like it is. His conversations are insightful, educated, engaging, and easy to comprehend. I have worked with Ethan and not only is his business acumen is spot on he’s a creative artists as well.

This series provides invaluable finacial advice and stories in an industry that badly needs it. Hearing some of these stories not only made me feel more comfortable about where I currently am finacially as an artist, but has given me a guide on how to finacially prepare myself for the future. This information has never been more important as we rebuild our industry following Covid. If you are an artist in the entertainment industry this should be required listening.

The lack of open discussions about pay in the arts has led to brilliant creators being underpaid and financially burning out, denying the world so much beauty This podcast, thankfully, opens the doors wide open to have frank, honest, and informative discussions about the importance of knowing your worth and how to ask appropriate pay. If you are a teacher, require this podcast for your students so the next generation will thrive.

Talk about a much needed podcast! Artists are generally NEVER taught about the business side of running their careers, leaving them vulnerable to all sorts of shenanigans. Any ONE of these episodes is a must listen for any and every artist. Ethan is a fantastic interviewer, and asks insightful, thorough questions.

I have enjoyed the diverse of guests on this podcast and the interviews have been fascinating. In particular, entrepreneurialism in the context of the varied backgrounds of the guests and their passion for the arts they work to present come through as themes .
