ZacharyALDWhat we all need to knowThis series provides invaluable finacial advice and stories in an industry that badly needs it. Hearing some of these stories not only made me feel more comfortable about where I currently am finacially as an artist, but has given me a guide on how to finacially prepare myself for the future. This information has never been more important as we rebuild our industry following Covid. If you are an artist in the entertainment industry this should be required listening.

Tje34The real info- practical and helpfulWe all like to talk about our art, but nobody likes to talk about the BUSINESS side of show business, and it is important, if you want to have things like food, and a roof over your head. Artistic Finance demystifys show business. Real working artists talk about their financial decisions, mistakes, and tips for those looking to make a living in the arts. Required listening for anyone looking to support themselves as an artist.

Not AOKEssential! The stuff they never taught you in school. Essential if you are a serious established or aspiring lighting designer. Wish somebody was as forward thinking as this when I was a younger designer. Thanks Ethan.

Dir3583If you are an arts educator ,make this podcast mandatory listeningThis podcast is the most important theater podcast out there. The lack of open discussions about pay in the arts has led to brilliant creators being underpaid and financially burning out, denying the world so much beauty This podcast, thankfully, opens the doors wide open to have frank, honest, and informative discussions about the importance of knowing your worth and how to ask appropriate pay. If you are a teacher, require this podcast for your students so the next generation will thrive.

ahe13Sorely needed, wonderfully done.Talk about a much needed podcast! Artists are generally NEVER taught about the business side of running their careers, leaving them vulnerable to all sorts of shenanigans. Any ONE of these episodes is a must listen for any and every artist. Ethan is a fantastic interviewer, and asks insightful, thorough questions.

LoganTellsYouRobust and honestI have enjoyed the diverse of guests on this podcast and the interviews have been fascinating. In particular, entrepreneurialism in the context of the varied backgrounds of the guests and their passion for the arts they work to present come through as themes . I’m really happy to have come across such novel series. I applaud Ethan’s approach to putting finance in the light of day as well as the fine arts industry. Well done, please keep it up!
