purposefulmisfitBrave creative leadersI love this moto of breach creative Leaders for life. As someone in the non-profit world working with youth who also loves soccer, this is so refreshing. I love the topics you all discuss and appreciate your perspectives for the purpose of youth sports as a whole. As an assistant coach of a girls team, I continued to seek to implement these values into our team and program.

LegendsDallasParentBest PodcastThis Podcast is wonderful! My 2013 G plays for the Dallas Legends, and the growth she has had with the club is exponential. Listening to the podcast gives the deeper understanding of why, and the science and numbers behind it. It’s a wonderful tool, and I can’t wait to see how she continues to develop under the Legends curriculum and philosophy!

DMC&1234Amazing stuff! This is by far my favorite podcast. I applied your philosophy to my G09 team and they instantly benefited. This isn’t just a soccer podcast, it is impactful for all sports and has life lessons as well. Keep it up can’t wait for the next episode.

kja boyFrom a player’s perspectiveA fantastic podcast with insights into the philosophy of developing players. From a player looking to get better this was an interesting listen that tore off the blind fold revealing the ineffectiveness of the majority of the training that has been drilled into players.

ScottaroooContent is great but the audio is notLove the content and the approach to player and person development. However, you need to fix the audio! When I switch to this podcast from others, I have to turn the volume all the way up to hear Andy. Then when Andrew talks I have to turn it down. Felipe’s volume is just right.

Dan S - DEFCFantastic PhilosophyI love the 3 very different perspectives this show brings to the table. They have a fantastic philosophy about how to develop young players. I reached out and they sent me a copy of Andy’s book, which has a tremendous amount of detail about developing world class players. Looking forward to the next episode!

LiteraryworkshopIn-Depth and CompellingI am really enjoying this show. As a novice youth coach, I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts on coaching, and this one is becoming my favorite. The hosts aren’t afraid to go in-depth on each topic—lots of nerd-out moments over soccer history, which I love! But the best thing is that they’re promoting a clear philosophy of coaching and player development. Even if you don’t agree with every aspect their approach, they are absolutely worth listening to. They give a lot of practical advice based on decades of experience. The international angle is lots of fun, too. It’s not often you’ll find a Brit, a Brazilian, and an American who can agree on soccer!

Jeffshortstop11Development of 1v1 playersIf you are interested in helping to create 1v1 players and goal scorers in general- give this podcast a listen. It is an approach that is “inside the Box” as opposed to outside. Been an Andy Barney fan for awhile and glad the guys have put his philosophies in audio!

Andy CheddarFantastic look at Youth Soccer in AmericaThis series has gotten better in each of its three episodes. As a parent of a club player, getting history on the game and how it’s been coached, what ruts we can fall into as parents and coaches, as well as talking about a philosophy and path forward that benefits the kids’ development, as well as hopefully the growth of the game in America. Keep it coming, guys!
