jake from oregonOutstanding podcastReal world portrayals. Accurate summaries. I’m a Navy vet who agrees with 98% of what mike has to say. Fair advice. AR-10’s rule- Good medicine for elk and jack booted thugs. Biography rant- “from whitetail on the east coast to mule deer on the west coast” should be black tail on the west coast. I’ve never seen a mule deer on the coast of Oregon. I just had to nit pick. Mike, thank you for bringing up verses from Torah. Speaking the truth in love is the cure for toxic atheism. Have you mentioned The benelli nova and Winchester model 100? They have worked well for me. keep it up. Shalom. For your new .22….. I will suggest the new ruger American bolt gun in .22. Barrels come in either a longer threaded style or traditional 10/22 carbine barrel but with excellent fiber optic front sight. You dont have to worry about ammo that would cycle a semi auto, but all of your 10, 25, or 50 round mags for 10/22 will work in this little bolt gun. I used a see through mount so you can still benefit from the high vis fiber optic in low light or use the scope when there is plenty of light. Shalom.

VelocigingerFairly entertainingI’ve only listened to one episode, but I have a road trip in an hour, so I’ll listen to some more; maybe that says enough. I like that he’s a Christian. I could do without him talking about himself for the first several minutes, and intermittently throughout the rest of the show. Also, it would be more credible sounding if he would name the matches that he is winning(or have won/took third in etc..). “National level competition” is kind of vague. I may modify this review after a few more episodes.

Yummy food loverRepetitiveAt first, I truly enjoyed those show. However, with time, particularly in regard to handguns, he repeats himself ad nauseam. He has the same catch phrases over, and over, and over again. If you want to find the few grains of wisdom in an episode, you have to suffer through him repeating the same things you’ve heard a hundred times before. For example, from the most recent episode, “The Glock has the ergonomics of a 2x4,” “It’s like dragging a piano down the stairs,” “Managing a firearms and training company,” and so forth. Get something original and quit repeating yourself, and then you’ll get subscribers.
