ct. tiggPaying it forward.Your podcast has given me hours upon hours of entertainment. I thought it only right to return the favor by providing you Good Sirs of Tardis a deep bench of Whomojis and a piece of head canon. Susan. Did she create the word TARDIS? I actually think so. Whatever sci-fi technobabble unpronounceable word the Time Lord use to refer to there space/time capsule is probably far too complex to be easily translated. So, when Susan told Ian and Barbra about the acronym she created, that became the default ‘human way’ to refer to such a machine. Thus, the translation circuit adopted it. I have also always thought that we, the audience experience the effects of the translation circuit too, and that’s why we always hear the Time Lords’ machines called TARDISes. Now to make sure my favorite segment is solid for the foreseeable future. 1. 🔫🦹🏻♂️🦇🥛🐲 2. 🕗👸🏻🇮🇳🤦🏼♂️🤦🏻♂️ 3. 🗣️🎵⚠️🔆 4. 🕴🏻👤🌼💦🎪☎️ 5. 💀⬅️🔷⬅️🚤⬅️🛸⬅️🚁⬅️🚜 Answers: The Caves of Androzani Time and the Rani The Rings of Akhaten Terror of the Autons Planet of the Spiders Thanks again, fellas.

A Merry BerryScratches the itch.People like us have a constant itch JUST to talk about Doctor Who. Your podcast scratches that itch for me. As grateful as I am… For the respite from my fandom babbling, my family is even happier. 5 stars more than earned. Caroline_M_01My new go-to commute podcastLovely show! I’ve unconsciously started using the Dalek/Ogron rating system when I watch Doctor Who. Don’t let the length scare you off; the side quests and short trips are a great point of entry. They can be a bit long-winded, but they’re working on it! Timestamps in the podcast description would be helpful, especially when they’re doing an episode I haven’t seen and I want to skip to the randomizer and see what’s next. 👩👧🪼👹🖍️

mio fitzExcited newcomerI am only listening to the episodes of stories I have seen so far so i am further complicating my listening order. These two make this journey so fun. So glad to have found it. ♟🎶😬👵🏽👧🏽🧬🧑🏽🤫

oh, ya knowToo much preambleThe content of the actual discussion is always very solid, but it takes far too long for each episode to get going. Just listened to their Waters of Mars discussion and it took a full 30 minutes to get to the discussion. I understand that engaging with your community and plugging other platforms and etcetera are important for growing a podcast, but I would strongly recommend either shrinking the preamble down, or shifting some of it to after the discussion segment. I think it would make it a lot easier for me to get into the podcast, and would certainly make the episodes more binge-able. As I said, the actual content is good, so I hope this isn’t too harsh, but the opening segments make it genuinely difficult for me to get into the pod.

jc17_AceOpen This PodcastThis podcast is an excited and accessible review of episodes from both the modern and classic episodes of the television show Doctor Who, a show with over 50 years and 300 episodes of content. It is a great listen for anybody, and any fan of Doctor Who - new and/or old. Chris and Pete have a solid knowledge base and a true love of this show. The podcast is filled with that love and supplemented with great facts, tidbits, and headcanons galore. One of the best aspects of this podcast is how they watch through the show in a random order. While I was initially turned off by this idea, I’ve come to appreciate and look forward to the really unique and interesting connections to be made across the timelines. It is great to hear reviews of all the episodes I’ve seen but just as good to listen about episodes I haven’t seen. I’ve found that the summary and discussion are just enough to sweeten a first time viewing without ruining my appetite. I am working my way through this podcast’s “season 3” here on Apple and on Spotify/YouTube. Sylvester McCoy is my favourite and I can’t wait to see the randomizer take the show to more of his episodes. (Chris, your wife has a fellow Seventh fan out here.) This podcast is a banger, a ‘Viscount’ Bangor🧣. Doctor Who Episode Titles : 1.🗿🩸🧛♂️ 2.😀👮♀️🍭 3.🌞🔥🧑🚀😵💫🚪

Sheikhs hashtagExploring Doctor Who in the Most Appropriate Way: An Extremely Timey Wimey OrderI found this podcast at the perfect time. I have just recently found a rebirth of my obsession with Doctor Who spurred on my the announcements of RTD and Tennant returning, and had been looking for new podcasts to listen to. So my joy skyrocketed when I found a clip of Pull to Open on Tik Tok. I started by randomly watching through episodes from New Who, but then decided to watch through all of the episodes in the order released. It is absolutely wonderful to not only hear fans of the show talk about some of my favorite episodes that I am incredibly familiar with, but also to be more introduced to Classic Who. I do not see how anyone that listens to this would not be a fan. For Doctor Who fans it is a wonderful look at nearly 60 years of one of our favorite shows, and for non-fans it is an interesting introduction to the show that may spur them on to watch it. For the past 2 weeks I have been listening through this podcast constantly: while driving, at work, while doing homework, and playing games. I am now very excited to watch each story each week along with the podcast.

StevenotleyDeep Cuts Served RandomlyI’ll admit to bias here, as one of the hosts is an old friend, but Pull to Open is a sharp, slickly-produced, delicious helping of Who goodness every episode I’ve heard so far. The Randomizer is a lovely core concept, allowing for the kinds of odd cross-connections and interesting digressions Who fans crave. The ep breakdowns are snappy, the “what if the baddies won?” feature is always intriguing, and the “Where’s Clara?” spots are always good for a laugh. This is one of those podcasts where I’ll often hit pause in order to go off on my own musings on some arcane point, only to hit play and find our sagacious hosts were just about to explore the same avenues. Historical context, deep lore knowledge, and just the right amount of humorous perspective make this one a must for aspiring time travellers everywhere and everywhen.

dajoezenone🟦This is maybe my new favorite podcast. Been slowly listening through the backlog of this show during my commutes. Exposing me to a lot of Classic Who I hadn’t ever watched and giving some insightful fun reviews of that and the new series, which I’ve been rewatching myself as well. I love this random journey. 💯

Thinking_FishTwo Whovians Who Chew Over Dr WhoHosts chat about random episodes over its 50 year history. Defiantly aimed at Dr Who fans who have some basic grounding in the shows legendary strewn history. However, you don't have to be a deep nerd to enjoy this podcast. It helps if you watch the episodes they talk about but, I’ve found that even a quick dive into YouTube search helps get an idea of the characters and plot of the show.

road safety instructorNever ceases to bring a smile to my faceNo matter if im driving or lounging around this podcast always seems to find its way into my speakers. Mainly growing up on the new era of Dr Who, the classic era always seemed like an after thought when thinking about the series. This podcast has helped to inspire my new fondness of all the classic eras aspects I once thought of as weaknesses. No matter the cheap sets or dodgy special effects, I can now see the charm and care put into the classic era of Dr Who. (Special thanks to tiktok for bringing this wonderful Dr Who experience infront of my eyes.)

pieadventureGreat showThis is an amazing show I’ve been listen to the older episodes and watching the episodes they review next before listening and this show is the whole reason I got a Brit box subscription to watch the classic series and it has given me a whole new appreciation for not only the classic run but the modern one as well

Chris J MichaelsI adore this show! Clara-Echo Comment, howeverLove this show. I've been getting back into DW as the Flux came out and I found it just in time. As a fellow Chris, I find myself agreeing with Chris quite a lot. I love Capaldi so me and the Codex get along as well. Clara is my favorite, so all the talk of her is just great... BUT I have a nitpick over the "Where is the Clara echo" section. In 'the Name of the Doctor', the final plot was that the Great Intelligence/Dr Simeon went into the Doctor's time stream to kill the Doctor at every moment of his life. What Clara did was go in herself to stop Dr Simeon. The Clara echos are not there to save the Doctor from his own mess, but from Dr Simeon's attack. In that episode, after she does it, she even says that she's finished and he's safe. Why Oswin Oswald was at the Dalek Asylum is beyond me but Clara Echos are meant to stop Simeon, not anyone else. Simeon is in the background of every episode trying to kill the Doctor and, in the background of every episode, Clara is there to stop him. Love the show! Keep up the great work! Can't wait until the Codex brings us to an Eccleston episode! 🧣🧣🧣🧣🧣🧣

janaisonlineJust what I was looking for!Found this podcast through tiktok and I’m thoroughly impressed. As a Doctor Who lover, all I want to do is listen to some cool people talk about how cool (and sometimes how ridiculous) it is. So glad I came across this pod and I’m excited for more :)
