holleringmysticShouldn’t be doing interviewsMaybe he’s gotten better since I only listened to his 2022 interview with Kyle Gallner, but I spent the whole 90 minutes irritated with Austin Archer’s self-obsession. The first 20 minutes were about his TikTok, which he also interrupted his interview subject to talk about more. It felt especially disrespectful that he left in the part where he asks Gallner to move his mic, but maybe Archer doesn’t edit his episodes at all?
-
ditchhallGreat stuff all aroundI enjoy Austin’s work across various platforms. Funny, creative, thoughtful. He’s doing good work and he deserves more recognition and audience for what’s he’s doing. Check him out!
-
SloaneNicGriWhat do I do now?Over the last couple of weeks (or maybe over a month now?), I have had the joy, nay… the honor, to listen to your podcast from episode one to the latest episode where you are pacing and talking about the film festival in Canada. Can you imagine my feelings? There’s too many to name just like there’s probably too many reviews to do, reeeeview the revieeew, REVIEW THE REVIEW! The evolution of RTR and BTB were legendary, thank you for that and sharing your life Austin. What do I do now? That’s a silly question. I know what to do and you know what I can do. Be good, Sloane

C-Dub32Scat for me, AustinThis is genuinely the best podcast I’ve ever heard. I come from a moderately conservative family and often have trouble debating with them politically, not because they have good points, but because their points are so bad it’s difficult to fathom and dispute at the same time. Listening to your podcast helps me do that. Think you could do a little more scatting than you do? Thanks

AnmarieQSMy New Favorite PodcastI found Austin Archer through Tiktok and immediately wanted more. Not only is he extremely funny but he’s genuine, vulnerable and honest. He uses his voice to educate and point out the real disparities going on in the heated conversations between the left and right. I hope he knows how much his contribution means to so many people. I too, grew up in a conservative Christian household and always felt like the black sheep for disagreeing or questioning in the community. I feel such validation after hearing him address familiar topics in such a intelligent and human way. He is one of a kind. Brilliant, funny, intelligent. What more could you want in a podcast!!!
-
Sol_sirenDepth & PassionI discovered the funny, talented, politically-savvy Austin on “Tik Nok” and laughed and laughed. I found his podcast, and now I still laugh but I also cry. It’s not a sad cry; it’s a soul-stirring, spirit-cleansing cry. Yes, his content gets that deep. As a recovered alcoholic myself, I appreciate his honesty, his vulnerability, and his willingness to grow. Your journey and podcasts have helped me more than than you know, Austin. You and I have similar backgrounds (exvangelical here!) and seem to following similar paths of spiritual growth currently through recovery and just through being open to life! Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us!
-
PokiSuneAustin's voice and point of view are so important at this time! It's important to have content creators explaining to everyone who will listen, the clear-headed, logical, and moral reasoning why the conservative movement /mindset is bad for EVERYONE. Thank you Austin for being that voice. Also, people who are parents and have challenges with your kids, should listen to Rachel Bailey's 'Your Parenting Long Game Strategies' podcast. I'm literally promoting it because I sincerely believe it's that beneficial to children and society. Peace.

Erikleach_artEasy listening with insightful contentAustin, and his guests, do a great job of balancing an easy listening experience that is approachable & inviting; along with content that can be deep, insightful, provokes thought, and may help you see things from a new perspective. Great job!
-
Nsellon5 StarsI am so glad you make content. Full stop.

snp102710This is good. Trust me, for I am Internet Stranger who says so.I started listening to Austin’s podcast a few months ago and haven’t made it all the way thru the back catalog but plan to. Originally I listened because our values align well and Austin’s way of bringing a little humor and humanity to hard topics was a way to create mindfulness around them. However Austin has recently been sharing more about his battle with anxiety and I’ve found this content to be such a salve for my own issues in that realm. While I don’t have the issue with the dentist in particular, there are so many similarities between how anxiety shows up for Austin and how it manifests in myself that I can’t help but laugh through these shared experiences. It feels like laughing at it takes a bit of its power over my life away and I am sure there are others out there feeling the same. Austin could change the entire format of this show to talking about his anxiety and I would listen. I love that this show is hitting a sweet spot between vulnerable and funny, enlightenment and understanding, and intellectual but open minded (such as to pagan rituals). There’s no such thing as a perfect show, but I don’t feel like being critical about someone’s life-work - there is so much more power in gratitude so I am grateful for this content and please take it from me, a random person on the internet that you should check it out
-
Exule cobaineGood Listen - thank you! This podcast has been a great find to help me pass my time during my daily commute. The topics resonate well with me, I like listening because it challenges me to think and keeps my brain engaged… but somehow in a relaxing way. Keep the content coming!
-
melkswiftI may have submitted my review accidentally already but if not here it is againI started following Austin on Instagram and found his political points resonated with my philosophies. Recently, I began listening to his illuminating podcast with an episode on Shame and how it affects compassion both for ourselves and others. I’m a former opera singer who misses singing with every fiber of my being. But I find joy in other ways like ROLLER DERBY! If you wouldn’t mind plugging the San Fernando Valley League - we play at The Cage in North Hollywood on October 15th against the West Coast Derby Knockouts. Address: 11455 Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601 Thank you, Austin. And stay cool!
-
brainpowerAustin is great! Well worth the listen…He is a very sincere, caring and smart individual. Open and honest about his own struggles in life, but never looks for pity. We learn about ourselves through others and he’s got a lot to offer. Talented musician too! Funny TikTok’s so check that out too!
-
BrabhammerSimply DelightfulAustin’s eloquent, heartfelt sentiments echo my own ideas about life, but are more articulate and well-thought out. I love both the episodes where he succumbs to frustration at world affairs and the episodes where he exposes silliness and whimsy. Also loving his music and looking forward to snagging it all next Band Camp Friday. Give it all a listen if you’re in the mood to learn something about life or just need the solidarity of like-mindedness in these crazy times.
-
Caroline the Hat LadyAn accessible podcast!I’m pretty new to TikTok (where I found Austin) and very new to listening to podcasts. I have a fairly significant hearing loss and I spend enough time trying to understand what people are saying. But Austin speaks very clearly and records his podcast live on TikTok and YouTube so I can read his lips. I also appreciate him using captions/subtitles on his TikTok’s which sometimes even I forget to do. Lastly, Austin makes hosting a podcast look easy but the content is very well thought out and thorough and if you don’t laugh at his Bill Maher impression you have no soul.
-
momontheradcarpetIrreverent, funny, thought-provokingYou know when you pick up the phone to call a friend you haven’t spoken to in awhile and then you remember how awesome they are and wonder why it’s been so long? This podcast is affirming in the same way. Austin is funny, insightful, and witty but he’s also deeply thoughtful and kind. He discusses all sorts of socially relevant topics with an approach that’s curious but casual. Sort of like if you had a smart funny buddy you wanted to ask an earnest question, and you knew could count on them to answer honestly/not make you feel like you were silly for asking. -from @momontheradcarpet

aliciabonnewellGreat contentLove his stuff! He’s so funny, I can fill hours of my day with listening

@User6487913594602Review for Review the ReviewI'm going to read this review for Review the Review, but I'll say right off the bat that this is a weird one, because it's super meta. Like this is the actual review that I'm reading right now. Those last sentences I just said are how the review begins. And that last sentence is part of the review, too. I don't even know if this is a particularly positive review or if this person is just trying to mess with me? I mean, it's five stars. It's just hard to communicate on a podcast what part of the review I'm reading and when I'm interjecting my thoughts as I read this review. Very confusing. Oddest review ever. At the core of the review, if you skip past all that stuff, it just says “love the podcast.” And that’s it.
-
indyindygalGlad I made the time.I had been stuck on the same podcasts but I’m glad I put this in the rotation. Feels like you’re chatting with a wise friend. Keep up the good work
-
Max S CAFeel good podcastI have a feel good podcast list and a panic/doom podcast list. This podcast never fails to make me warm.
-
Nelson865Blown awayI found Austin via TikTok and really enjoy his quick bites of humor and insight. The podcast is a journey through topics abstract and finite that we all likely ponder, but maybe don’t talk about. He adds pauses in spots that help digest and process what was the just said, which makes it feel more like a silent conversation. Keep it up Austin!!
-
Cari 🐆Great podcast! 💯Austin brings humor and sometimes brutal honesty to his life experiences. I love listening to his content! Highly recommend this podcast!
-
DanreedmillerFantasticJust listened to the episode with Eve Parker Finley on the joys and travails of promoting one’s art and creative work as an online content creator. Really really insightful discussion from two of my very favorite of that class of individual, and as a “creator” and multifarious artist myself, i found so much that either resonates or inspires, and I will share *this* content with my friends and fellow creatives. Ties into deeply important larger issues of equity and fair compensation in a late capitalist world.
-
ordinaryboyordinarynameYour pal Austin genuinely cares! The People Pleaser podcast will not tell you how to be a better person, but if you listen with an open mind and open heart you can’t help but end up a better person. Austin is introspective and compassionate, attributes that we all need a little more of, and he tackles all topics big and small with curiosity and intelligence. This podcast is like a deep soulful conversation with a trusted friend, the type that can really help you out in bad times or change your perspective and help you grow. I can’t recommend enough that you take a chance on a genuinely great person and their podcast.
-
StevieGoodLove the stuff he makesI enjoy listening to him blab❤️

MACSbeanGood stuff👍Austin is really funny, intelligent, and has a lot of heart. It’s encouraging to listen to him and feel like there are good people in the world with good intentions, because sometimes it’s hard to feel connected to that these days. Also his dance moves are A+
-
jamieotfYES!!!!!xinfinity(Trying to be the MOST enthusiastic reviewer.) Found you through your awesome TikToks, and really enjoyed listening to your podcast. I started with the episode that included Don’t Look Up, because I happened to have watched it yesterday. At no point during the movie, or at any time afterwards, did the topic of climate change cross my mind. I literally thought it was a satire of the pandemic. Shows you where my head’s been at for the last two years. ANYhoo… I love your content, your outlook, and your style. Thanks for being you! 😘

Happy98403People Pleased? CheckThis podcast is called People Pleaser and it delivers. Because Austin is smart and funny and kind, I am pleased and I have no doubt that others are pleased, too—many, many people. Well done, Austin Archer!
-
FO ABCAustin is my brain twin!Every TikTok, every pod, it’s like watching and listening to my own brain, except it’s being creative and funny. You are super talented Austin! 5 stars
-
LilTwosGlad you are on the same orb I amHello Austin I just learned of you through Mormon stories. Was I ever Mormon? No. I dated an ex Mormon like 10 years ago and became fascinated by the religion then hooked on MoSto ever since. Anyway. I listened to your entire Mormon stories interview (both parts) twice so far. I am just blown away by how insightful, clever and articulate you are. I instantly subscribed to your channels and now I’m hooked on the pod and binging all your content. I just feel like I wish I could meet someone like you in real life to chat with and hang out with. I’m also in a dark place with drinking so I’m clinging to your interview for dear life. I especially loved how you described ego death and acknowledging that you may not have the right answers. Finally opened me up to HEARING your words- what I’ve been trying so far isn’t working so maybe it’s time to go with someone else’s strategy. Picturing a group of people wanting to take me out to a milkshake and just listen sounds so amazing. I am scared to make a move in that direction but …. It’s giving me a lot to think about. Anyway- your art is changing the world for the better. From the bottom of my suffering heart, Thank you.
-
nikimac70YesYou say the things I think. Just like everyone else, I like to hear other people saying what I think. If my confirmation bias of you is wrong, I don’t want to be right. 😁 Seriously, love your TikTok songs and I’m a podcast addict. It is a perfect intersection of my interests. I enjoy your content very much.
-
Kristin LowreyYESI’m so glad I found this podcast. Austin is my favorite TikTok creator of all time, and he looks like Randy Lanier.
-

ILLustriousAustin is a gem…Found out about this podcast through TikTok. Now I can have Austin in my ears when my eyes are busy
-
AnxiousObligerPeople, it’s pleasing!Listen, this review will not be funny. However, you should know that Austin is. Austin consistently impresses me with his openness about how he is perpetually trying to learn and inform himself about the issues that face us all. He has episodes that are nothing but joy, entertainment, and laughs-but he also brings REALLY difficult discussions and topics that help enlighten the listener about serious issues faced in the US-that sometimes are ignored or downplayed by white society. If you like to hear directly from those on the front line of an issue-Austin’s pod is for you.
-
Ginger_GrantHeartInfused with heart, struggle, frustration, and a desire to learn more and do better.
-
SSam754Rock solid podcastThis podcast makes me feel smarter, faster, and stronger each week — Austin is a funny and super intelligent guy who consistently puts out great content on all his platforms. Try out his insightful podcast, you won’t regret it.

dudeandthemissingrugsWonderful!Like so many others, I found Austin on TikTok and just started listening to this podcast and I think it’s great. It’s hard to tackle some of the hard issues that this podcast takes on, but I am glad that I found it and that Austin is going for it!
-

ShanahnahnahSo Much Sophisticay… shunHey, Austin! Thanks for keeping me company on my drive from Pennsylvania back home to Michigan! You are a gem and a talent of so many things: your music, videos, and podcasts, and you have a really nice radio voice to listen to. Keep that content coming!
-
Derpy McDerpersonSparkAustin needs to have a talk show. His genuine interest in other people and their experiences comes through in every Podcast. Insightful discussions and lovely revelations.
-
Christian.J93Thoughtful, interesting, and insightful conversations on just about everything!A breath of fresh air every wednesday in between my long queue of news, politics, history, and science podcasts while keying mail at work. I've looked up to Austin as a performer and an artist since college and the thoughtful way he approaches these conversations and often thorny topics only continues to deepen that respect. If you want to listen to interesting, entertaining, and insightful conversations on just about everything, then People Pleaser is a must-add to your list!
-
Nicole in SLCRelatable and thought provokingI feel like every time I find a new form of Austin Archer I like him more. I loved the tiktoks, then I found the albums and now the tiktoks. So movie or book next??
-
ohnoscorpioHappy to DiscoverI typically love every piece of content Austin Archer puts out and his podcast is no different. People Pleaser is insightful, authentic, and just a joy to listen to because it’s not often you hear sensitive or “taboo”topics approached with such care and consideration.
-
