Not many people are as close to Major League Soccer’s players, coaches and fans as MLSsoccer.com’s Jillian Sakovits and Susannah Collins. Whether it’s on the sidelines or working on a feature story, they spend much of the season on the road and interacting with the newsmakers of the league. With 9 seasons of MLS experience between them and the closest of friends, Jill & Susannah invite you to pull up a chair and be a part of the conversations that up until now had stayed between them over a couple cocktails! We pull back the curtain to what it's like covering MLS – on and off the field.

    Just a platform for leftist talking points. Not much useful soccer talk. They are pleasant but somewhat a waste of time. I recommend if you are a lefty, into women discussing fashion, and ancillary silliness around sport, otherwise you’ll leave them soon.

    I’ll admit, when I saw the episode with Alexi, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to listen. I don’t generally agree with his takes but thought ‘I want to support the podcast so I’ll try it’ and I came out of that interview with a much better opinion of Alexi than when I went in and as a musician myself, I went and checked out some of his music and I really like it!!! I like how you guys are able to bring out sides of people that we may not get to see and while I may still not always agree with Alexi, I have a much different opinion of him now.

    Susannah and Jillian are energetic and engaging. They bring their inside knowledge of the league to your ears with each episode. I particularly like their stories of pre-pandemic traveling and interacting with guests. And the guests themselves provide consistent insight too. It’s always refreshing to hear their voices come on. Been listening since the beginning and hope they keep up the good work!

    If you like MLS and drinking wine, you’ll love this podcast! But in all seriousness, these hosts are extremely talented. They are knowledgeable about the sport, provide access to players, coaches, and others who are important to the game, and give us important updates on what’s going on in the league. They make it fun and keep it lighthearted enough to enjoy any day of the week. This will quickly become your favorite podcast!

    This is one of the better soccer podcasts out there. Insight and stories you really don’t find from the guys who are sitting behind a mic or in their basement. These ladies do the work, are the feet o the ground and you can tell based on the rapport they have with their guests. I learn something new every time, and a laugh guaranteed. Thank you MLS!!!     I enjoy this podcast a lot. It’s warm, cheerful, and has that style of interview where you get to know the MLS more. I’m not sure if this is an MLS sponsored show but these off the field contents are super awesome and the league is definitely killing it off the field! After every show, I almost feel like I can go up to any of the players they interviewed and carry on a conversation as if I’ve known the players for a while. Great stuff! Makes my commute enjoyable!

    This podcast is awesome! It’s got attitude, great concepts, and it’s just the right length to listen to a show on the way to or home from work. The only drawback: there aren’t enough of these. Would love to see it weekly. Susannah and Jillian are great hostesses and I just want to hear more. Also, it was a nice bonus to get a question on there. Hello from the Headlooner in MN!

    Really fantastic
    I think I’ve only ever written two other reviews for podcasts in my life, but this one absolutely deserves your time. The hosts are engaging, funny, have good knowledge of the game, and it makes for very easy listening. Saying this is a good podcast to bridge the gender gap is lazy - this is just a good podcast.
