Pat Kiernan may be the last impartial reporter left out there! He reports a story without a slant and this concise podcast is a great way to keep up with the latest local news issues. Highly recommend!

My workday literally starts with turning on NY1 while I’m still in bed. The dog and I can then get up and start our day. And this podcast is just more good Pat Kiernan/NYC content. (Love hearing about the beginnings of theater - and the Knicks! returning slowly to normal!💙)

I love this podcast! I was raise in NYC in Washington Heights but move to Connecticut 2 years ago, until this day I watch NY1 every morning when I can, I love that it feels close and human and real! All the topics are exactly what is happening in the city and even thou I live in Ct I still love NYC and pains me to see how much it has change. I love this podcast thank you guys for always communicating what’s important to the community.

C’mon!!! You guys already deliver the news in the most original way- your casual, personal style is so refreshing. But now thissss??? People at NY1, I am so grateful that you have presented your audience with this even deeper layer to this city we all love so much. I am a die hard NYer and though I try- it’s sometimes hard to convince the nay sayers that NYC is way more than the shininess of (parts of) Manhattan- the borough I now live in- but now you will help. I loved the line - during the wrestling story - about how everyday people you see have so much more going on than meets the eye. I feel like that EVERY. DAY. Why NY1 is soo good?? It gets US (NYers). Muuah!!

This podcast is interesting to even those who don’t live in NY. But, visit and experience some of what the citizens go through. But, on smaller scale.
