staceyone9erAmateur hourThis podcast sounds like the work of a twenty-something living in his parents’ basement. It’s a super simple regurgitation of sports news and reporting — just one dude listening to himself talk. Hard pass.
-
Mets_LoverBirthday shoutoutI was wondering if I could get a shoutout for my birthday tomorrow. I listen to this show every day in the morning and my name is Nachshon. Anyway, thanks for making this podcast, it has been a highlight of my days recently.

Sci0philetooLong Time Senior Citizen Mets Fan.I listen to your podcast on my iPhone every day unless I am ill. It’s one of my favorite podcasts and I love that there’s something every day. Your analysis is excellent! I haven’t enjoyed the postgame podcasts when you don’t do them as much as when you are the host, possibly because I already know what has happened during the playoff games, but mostly because your style and presentation is easier to follow. My only problem is that I can’t do any social media due to ancient computer, lack of knowledge of most social media platforms, and limited time at present to get involved with social media. So it would be great to know if there’s any more traditional way to interact with you and the Mets podcast. I can do emails, phone calls (really) and texts but not U tube…

sukeceeLiterally my first listenEvery day, I look forward to Ryan’s analysis - always a complete and thorough look at the game before and the current climate of the Mets, with a positive spin. It’s not easy to report on the Mets each day. I’ve been a fan since 1980, when I could walk and talk and cheer, and this team has been through such highs and lows. Having a voice of reason on a daily basis definitely keeps things fun, informative, and calm. Definitely a must listen if you’re a true Mets fan! LGM!
-
DesbishCalm, detailed analysisIt’s not easy doing an episode every day about a team as frustrating as the Mets. Ryan does a great job of breaking down the good the bad and the ugly of this team. He doesn’t pander to the anger of Mets Twitter but he is also not afraid to call out areas that need to change. Just enough emotion to be entertaining but also just enough detailed analytics to not get lost in the WFAN type incendiary hot takes.
-
1790bwayTerrific podcastDaily listener here. Ryan does a terrific job giving us a daily dose of Mets news. He shares and understands our pain. There are too many ads, but I guess that’s what the fast-forward button is for. Also, the nonstop promotion of sports betting is really a problem.
-
4️⃣1️⃣4️⃣DelusionalIf you like burying your head in the sand and hearing only delusional positive things about the Mets then this podcast is for you. I'm looking for more objective analysis and not being fitted for rose-colored glasses. Pro-Met propaganda.
-
Samo 76LFGM!My daily goto for Mets news. Ryan does a great job.
-
Le Roi DemonThe Go-To Mets PodcastThe best Mets podcast available. Daily updates and typically available for the morning commute. Ryan gives lots of good information with stats to back things up.
-
Casey’s MetsHappy for youJust listened to your latest episode discussing your journey the last 5 years and your happiness that you didn’t quit which is so important as a rule in life, good for you 👍.
-
OnusHoosierSuch random topicsThis show features some really random topics. They don’t do recaps of the previous game. They don’t highlight issues. It doesn’t even feel like they’re trying to find solutions for how to make the Mets better. It’s like if a Mets twitter fan account became a podcast. There isn’t anything to watch for. My rule is that after the third time I ask “who cares?” For something they’re talking about, I then turn it off.
-
afunguy23Good but,The ads are unbearable. You just need to add some different opinions, might I suggest Evan Roberts.
-
xlcr springsVery informativeRyan does a terrific job getting to the heart of the matter on all things Mets.

-
Three Holes in OneShort and SweetTotally professional and concise report on an interesting baseball topic. Very much on point and does not get sidetracked at any point during the discussion. Keep up the good work.
-
sulchasmy go-toThis is my go-to source of mets talk. Always find the episodes interesting and informative, and it has been pretty much the only thing tethering me to this team through much of this abysmal season
-
IamSPMGreat fanIt can’t be easy to talk about the Mets every day but this guy does it with joy. It’s my go-to podcast every morning. Great listen. Highly recommend.
-
ClaibornesnowdenBest Mets PodcastRyan is always organized and prepared for every episode. Fair, in-depth analysis in less than 30 minutes. Episodes are different enough each days to keep it interesting.

-
Firsttime longtimeI would listen if there were less commercialsOne every 5 minutes for a 20 min show is absurd. It’s also the same 3 reads over and over
-
Wheels on DevilsBest Met PodcastHuge Met fan, and with all the content out there this is the best. Ryan does an awesome job of breaking everything down giving his own opinion which is usually spot on and even gives the opinion of others. Thank you Ryan for all the work you put in.

VizLIDeGrom AnalysisI just wanted to let Ryan know that his analysis with regard to resigning Jacob DeGrom might be the most well thought recitation I have ever heard on this subject. Aside from the analytics, I never realized that DeGrom actually has been underpaid in comparison to his contemporaries (particularly Portello). Nice job! Too bad more people won’t hear your analysis since it would certainly change the minds of many a Mets fan (as it did me).

80'sVillagerSign Conforto! You’re right! Bring back Conforto! He was our best and most beloved player for a long time. He played gold glove caliber right field and his 820 career OPS is much higher than Marte Canha or Nimmo! Even in his only bad year as a Met his 14 HRs and 60 RBIs in 400 ABs were almost identical to Marte’s and Canha’s numbers this year in 450 ABs.
-
Scatman60Your team Everyday!Ryan delivers concise content with the ability to relate to New York Mets fans. Been a listener since Season one of Locked On Mets. There’s Always segments and commentary after Mets games or breaking news!! Keep up the AMAZING Mets podcasts!! 👌👍⚾️🧢

Alex (from Belgrade, Serbia)Top Mets podcast!Great show man! I like how you sneak in the commercials, absolutely flawless. Fortunately there is a fast forward tab. Lol. Keep up the great job. F Go Mets!
-
S-trekGreat! But please turn down the musicI listen to every one and really appreciate you putting quality content out there for us fellow fans. Just one little ask. Can you please turn down the volume of the transition music? It’s really distracting and takes away from your show. Still gave you 5 stars though. Thanks.
-
SethJakeBest Mets podcast by a country mile!Love Ryan! He’s super knowledgeable and full of LFGM enthusiasm. Totally hip to advanced analytics and he has tons of smarts. His shows are packed with info and are very entertaining. A++++!
-
MarkLMTAwesome PidcastThis podcast is so great. Ryan Finkelstein is a pleasure to listen to. Very insightful, informative and spot on. It’s one of the first things I do in the morning. His knowledge and expertise of all facets of the game and of the team is impressive and very enlightening. I wish each episode was a little bit longer. Thank you, Ryan. Keep up the great work.
-
John RiniWhat’s with love affair with Cano?I love your podcast. It is literally the first thing I listen to each day. You do tremendous research and bring a well thought out but still fan centered insight. After listening to today’s podcast, I cannot wonder why you are so high on Robinson Canó. Yes he has shown brilliance at times in his career, but after two PED suspensions, how can we be sure if that was done simply on ability or if it was chemically induced? Finally, unless the opinion of Hall of Fame voters significantly changes, I cannot imagine a two-time convicted PED abuser being elected to the hall.
-
ETC9211Outstanding podcastRyan does an excellent job with this podcast. Well prepared with meaningful and timely content. Extremely consistent in posting the daily episodes without fail. I really enjoy the podcast and listen regularly. 😂🤣😆
-
BDF-111A great addition to your Mets fandomThis is one of the better Mets podcasts out there. And one of the very few daily podcasts. Give it a listen. You won’t be disappointed.
-
Smono7A little morning stroll through Metsville.Listen everyday. Homeboy knows his stuff.
-
Foofy2HELP WANTEDSomeone with insight and a personality please start a Mets podcast! I’ve looked at every podcast with Mets-focused content and this horrible thing is the best I can find. I can’t listen to this anymore. It’s June and I’ve listened to almost every episode since the start of the 2021 season and I’m done. The host is just some fanboy with weak takes and an unacceptable grasp for the English language to be in media. But It all ended with the episode following a west coast extra inning game and the host said he was unprepared because he didn’t watch the game. Done.
-
Le Canadiens de Montreal 1993Ryan is AwesomeHands down the best Mets podcast. You get the info that you in 30-40min, and don’t have to listen for 2hrs to get what you need too know.
-
Iamcool326The BestSimply the best Mets podcast on this app!
-
jetsfilQuestionI gotta know why is the media obsessed with Tatis and his potential. He’s batting .240 with 9 fielding errors this year. 9!!! And all they can talk about is his home runs. Can’t we just talk more about degrom.
-
Brian8675309Great show - a MUST for any true Mets fanEveryone knows that there are more podcasts out there than one can count, so it can be difficult to navigate through all of them and find what you’re looking for. That’s why I highly recommend Locked On Mets. The host, Ryan Finkelstein, is incredibly knowledgeable and does a terrific job bringing on great guests. Most importantly, his analysis is thoughtful and thorough. Gotta check him out on the Podcast and on the Lockerroom app!! ✊
-
astrosrock75Mets podcast EliteYou thought Steve Cohen was a big deal well look no further because this podcast is massive. Big as New York, Mets may be in Queens but this Mets podcast is THE KING. You gotta get locked in to locked on Mets! This is a High Quality Pod at its best. Brett Htown Wheelhouse Chancey
-
MyThoughtsOnYourPodcastGreat Material, Awful DeliveryThe content brought up in this show makes it a great listen, but listening to the person talking about it is like listening to an elementary school student do a presentation. It’s very drawn out & I get very aggravated when the guy draws out the middle of simple words.
-
PMac2893Mets Every Day!Ryan does a fantastic job discussing the Mets daily! Part of my morning routine is now listening to this podcast. Excellent topics and guests. Fun time listen!
-
bfdggycjvhggvgjhBest podcast everYou are very good with explaining things10/10
-
ChocolateFrudgePlease stop the at&t fiber commercialThis podcast is honestly my favorite of like 15 NY sports podcasts I listen to regularly, seriously well done. But PLEASE stop the at&t fiber commercial. Whatever they’re paying you, I’ll double it to take it down. It makes me cringe every time. Every time it says “and we’re all doing a lot of uploading today, aren’t we?”, it’s like a gag reflex for me.
-
TJ ShadwellGood Host / Heavy CommercialsI like this podcast, Ryan F. comes across as fan doing a show for fans. I stumbled across it late and am hoping it continues to play out well when/if the season starts. I think the drawback...and the reason I can’t give it 5 Stars yet...is the commercial content as there’s quite a bit of it. The podcast is free, so it has to be paid for somehow, but it seems to be a short ‘cast for the amount of ads. Still, listening to a host that sounds like a guy you’re having a beer with while talking about my Mets is worth the time.
