    In good hands
I’m currently living in littleton Colorado but my My high school teacher in Panguitch Utah put me on to episodes 108-109 learning how to paint with your elk calls. That following fall I called in a bull for the first time for a buddy! A little over a year since that hunt I am still listening and grinding! I had the chance to meet the team and they are incredible people. Talk about some of those good kinda folks. My girlfriend was with me and she even said she’s never felt so welcomed. Amazing teachers and good people words just don’t do justice!

    Killing it!
There are alot of good and informative hunting and elk hunting podcasts out there, but there’s only one that I’ve found that helps you truly build your skills and be a more successful elk hunter and caller…Elkbros!

    Dreaming of fall
As a first time elk hunter hoping to draw a tag this year I absolutely love the show. Been listing for about a year now and I’m currently going through the base camp program. The two things that stick out is learn to call and draw your bow. Can’t wait for the next episode to drop. Thank you all. Jordan Mifflin from Williston, ND

    Nock tuning
Hey guys, that piece on nock tuning was outstanding; but then again your show is the best there is. Because of my life schedule I can’t listen live but pick it up on YouTube. I have been fortunate to be fairly successful thru the years yet there has not been a single time listening that I haven’t learned some new ideas/techniques. See you guys in CO at the Gaylord Center.

Great perspectives, memories, and always something to learn!
It has been 7 years since I drew a cow tag and was able to get out into the woods during the winter months, so before I headed out, I checked my ElkBros podcast library and found one titled Hunting elk in snow and freezing conditions dated Nov 26, 2019. I’m sure I had listened to it when it came out, but I always learn something each time through, or at least get reminded of things long forgotten. I was first reminded that this was near the beginning of Chav’s cancer experience, and it brought back both tears and encouragement (and I’m just a listener!). A GREAT reminder to never take anything for granted, especially friendship and health! The content, as usual, was packed with great lessons and ideas to help prepare me, like getting some glove liners for cutting up the elk in freezing temps; practicing my rifle with gloves on (and not putting a finger near the trigger until it I’m ready to pull), tips for when the rangefinder isn’t functioning, remembering to eat and drink water when it’s cold (I’m never hungry or thirsty when hunting in the cold so I have to be intentional), and more. I love winter hunting (though my circulation isn’t as good as it used to be!), I enjoy the solo-Joe podcasts (it’s like a 1:1 experience), and it was a great way to kick off my winter hunt. Thank you again for sharing your lives and wisdom with us all. Mike (Ogden)

    Valuable info!!
Getting ready to take my new wife on her first big game hunt; a rifle elk hunt in early October. I’m a lifelong mule deer hunter but have only ever drawn one elk tag, so I’m new to this as well. Stumbled upon this podcast after a Google search and I can’t get enough. Ready to listen to part 3 of the Elk Logic series, and soaking it all in. I’ll be listening from here on out. Thanks gentlemen for sharing your knowledge and keeping it entertaining. Casey Robertson, Mapleton, Utah

    Tips From the Field
I really appreciate Joe’s attention to detail and how well he relates to elk hunters of all levels of experience. All of the Elk Bros have enough experience in successes and even failures to use real life examples to teach and coach so effectively. They always have something worthwhile to share. Unreal elk hunting info and advice!
Our groups first elk hunt this year, and this channel in particular has been by far the most helpful. Husbands kiss your wives, wives kiss your husbands, hug your babies, keep your powder dry and your broad heads sharp! Adjust your volume knobs just right and listen up!

Great stuff, even though one bro is a Texan. Keep up the good work guys. Perhaps remind your listeners to check a tree for bees before raking it. I took on a hive that was unknown to me They had a small crack in the tree leading to the hive and I chose that part of the tree to rake aggressively. Only got one sting and ran like a little girl. I guess the bees had gone in for the night and weren’t happy about my wake up call.

Big O is who he says he is
I have been listening to this podcast and getting great info and saying to myself that I need to review this show, but just hadn’t taken the time because I didn’t want to short change it. I love this podcast and the information is so great, but that is just the beginning. Gilbert is as sincere as he says he is. I asked a question about socks on social media and he made a recommendation for me. I realized who he was and reached out with a private message. Long story short I ended up talking with him for a bit and getting even more inspiration, not only for Elk Hunting, but for our love of Christ! Gilbert is a busy man and he took the time to make me feel like he truly cared about my success and me as a person. Thank you sir! Josh Baxter Macomb Oklahoma

Here is to the next 200 episodes🍻👏👏
I was fortunate enough to have recorded a podcast with these guys. That podcast stemmed from a simple email that I sent to the Elkbros. Next thing I knew Joe reached out asking me, a total stranger, to join them on the show. I wIll have to say, I was a bit nervous to step in the ring with these guys. But after about a minute and a half, they took me from a stranger to a friend. You don’t have to listen long to realize just how genuine and don’t to earth these guys really are. What you hear (or see) from these these guys is what you get….and that’s huge compliment in todays world. It’s was a pleasure and certainly an honor to meet these guys. Keep up the great work fellows!!! You deserve everything the Lord blesses you with. Looking forward to 200 more. Robert Nuckols Callands Va.
