Interviews are honest and intelligent. Really easy to listen to. Almost like you’re sitting on the sofa across from them.

He’s an amazing interviewer and finds super interesting people to talk to. Thank you for putting this show out on the inter-webs and I’m ever so happy that it reached my ears. I’m so happy David Tennant is back and his first podcast is with Ben Schwartz???? PERFECTION.

Right out of the gate this has been a winning season! Living as I do on the left side of the pond, I might’ve been a late adapter to Mr. Tennant’s work - now I can’t imagine having enough to satisfy. He’s easily one of the best interviewers I’ve had the good fortune to tune in to: absolutely holding this space for many seasons to come! 18 February ‘25: the year just got a whole lot more interesting. Mr. Tennant’s back on the interwebs and I feel fine(r)!!!

I am absolutely in love with this show and I am a huge fan of so many of the people interviewed! David Tennant is one of my favorite people in the world, and I love him so much! I loved hearing from Stacey Abrams and loved hearing from Neil Gaiman as well! David Tennant is such a wonderful person to have in this world and I treasure him! This SOB is so good at everything he does I can’t stand it. Enjoyed this podcast so much.

Love the guest list so far but DT far louder than the guest. I put sound up to hear the guest but have to suffer very loud ear hurting sound of DT. Would prefer a balance but at very least make the guest louder.

I really enjoy DT as an actor, but he’s also an incredibly talented interviewer! I’ve listened to every episode (except for the one with pathological liar Stacey Abrams), some of them more than once (Olivia Coleman, Billie Piper, and Jon Hamm were my favorites). It’s been nearly two years since the last new episode…..please resume the podcast, DT!!

All the guests from the UK are funny, charming and interesting. The Americans with the exception of Jon Hamm are dull and not amusing at all. DT is lovely and a great interviewer. Tho he seemed a bit nervous interviewing Judi Dench, but he’s only human.

Great guests and conversations! David has some serious interview skills.

I’d listen to anything David Tennant, but this podcast gives me reason to listen. His guest are interesting people and he has a down to earth conversation with them. He asks questions about specific unique parts of their lives- not what everybody else would ask. Pure delight. Plus you had me at that Scottish accent.

Listening to David is a absolute joy! He is a keen interviewer that engages conversations with guests that is genuine. It’s refreshing to be able to escape the gloom and doom of today’s news. Keep the podcast coming.

We really enjoy this podcast. David is a natural presenter. One really gets the feeling they are listening in on a pleasant conversation among close friends or colleagues . The show can range from the common everyday to in-depth subjects with fluid ease. This is a wonderful podcast to listen to whether one is cooking or just sipping a drink on the patio. The quality of the guest for both seasons has been amazing! The only thing a have negative to say is this : “Where is Season 3?” Can’t wait to hear “Oh, hello” again!

I mean... I could listen to DTs voice all day. And the guests are great. And I’m still on the precipice of buying a Chillys water bottle. Season 3 pleeeeeease!!!

David Tenant is a master interviewer and even when his guest is someone I might not generally like, I always listen because I’m in for a good show!

This podcast is a delight. It’s relaxed but offers some great insight into how various actors and important figures approach their work. Tennant asks very insightful questions and shows that he is an active listener. It’s very refreshing!

While it is certainly fun to listen to David, especially as he has interacts with such diverse, and interesting guests, what most strikes me is how good at interviewing he is! He does considerable prep work on the backgrounds of his guests, and this helps him to have great connections. But the most impressive thing is how well he listens, responds, and generates meaningful and insightful questions based on the responses of his guests. It shows great care and cleverness on his part indeed. Love the show!

These interviews are really great to listen to; David Tennant knows many of the folks and clearly has a rapport with them, but even the folks he doesn't know he develops such a great dialogue with, and he does his homework on everyone. And this season he's even made listening to ads enjoyable (pls don't mistake this sentence for an implicit endorsement of capitalism). looking forward to the next season! (one suggestion though : please drop the 'With...' from the title, it's awkward!)

I have long admired David Tennant as an actor and was excited to learn that he had started a podcast. The icing on the cake was to discover how insightful and interesting his conversations were. It is clear from his questions that he has done his homework before each interview and equally clear that he enjoys each visit. I hope he continues!

Great interviews with fellow actors. It’s always interesting to hear about the actor’s look on life and the human struggle as well as what the behind the scenes life is like on set. I also think it would be amazing if you interviewed your wife Georgia for an episode.

I’ve been listening since it came out and it never disappointed! The conversations are very smooth and easy going, along with the hilarious episode with Michael Sheen; and more. Hope he comes back in season three(Michael Sheen). And it’s absolutely a lovely show!

An all around 5 star podcast, my only qualm would be to have less Scientologists on (looking at you Elizabeth Moss)

Love love love this young lady ever since 1998 when she came out with the women’s anthem for football, around the whole American pop sensation in the late 90s then she did Doctor Who, secret diaries of a Call girl, Penny dreadful, glad to see that she’s still out here doing her thing, hope there’s some thing else knew from her.

I literally squealed when I discovered this podcast. David is a delightful interviewer. One quibble: the ad breaks in the middle seem to be random and interrupt the person’s conversation very strangely. Not sure what that’s about.

As a performing artist in a pandemic I know it will be some time before I can safely go back to my favorite version of life. Listening to Tennant pick the brains of some of my favorite artists and political figures has filled a cup in me that I didn’t realize was empty. An episode of DTDAPW feels like a great conversation at the bar with my cast mates after a standing ovation. Funny anecdotes, personal struggles, and artist philosophies (or non-philosophies), all prompted by David Tennant who makes his guests and his listeners feel equally welcome in every conversation, and asks the questions that I would want to ask of his interviewees. We can’t get back on stage for a while, but after listening to this show I’ve started writing again for the first time in months. Thanks David and Georgia

Tennant does a great job engaging the guests and getting them to speak candidly and naturally. It feels like everyone is his old friend. I find myself wishing we could hear Dench interview him as she threatened!

The flow and ease of these conversations are so natural I feel like I’m in the room ! Than you! Please consider Nicola Walker for a with spot- I love her work...and yours, naturally.

This is better than any chat show (though I do love Graham Norton)! David Tennant has a very nice, natural way of talking to people and the guests he lines up are fantastic!
