Fantastic resource for clinicians who value diversity
This is by far mg favorite resource for earning CEUs. I value the range of topics and perspectives shared, and it’s such a convenient medium. Cannot thank you enough for the work you put out into the world! I find myself thinking about these episodes for days after listening and frequently incorporate ideas and strategies discussed into my clinical practice. Thank you!!

    Excellent Clinical Podcast
This is the only clinical podcast that offers comprehensive, diverse, social justice oriented, evidence based and very relevant content. As a psychotherapist and LICSW, I daily am thankful for information I learn from clearly clinical. Thank you so much. The world is, and will be, a better place because of this podcast. I am so grateful.

    Bravo!
Thank you for contributing to the rampant antisemitism that continues to circulate not only in the entire world but also specifically in the mental health field! And so great to promote martyrdom to boot! Yes let’s de-pathologize suicide, you are totally right! Since Dr. Jabr is so culturally informed and cares so much about “oppression” I would have loved to hear how she approaches mental health in the LGBTQ population in Gaza?

Finally a useful way to get CEUS!
I love this podcast. It's fantastic to finally have a way to get CEUs that actually fits my learning style. There are so many different episodes addressing many topics with a diverse set of interviewees. All in one space! I am learning about things I am interested in, that feel relevant, and up to date-- and talks are done in a way that could see recommending some episdoes to clients as well. I appreciate the accessibility aspect and had great experience with the staff when I requested a subject matter topic (turns out they were already working on it!) 5/5 stars.

    Amazing Resource!
As a licensed social worker for 25+ years, I cannot say enough good things about Clearly Clinical and its wealth of information for practitioners. I love that I don’t need to be behind a screen for hours to gain my continuing education credit hours. The set-up and interviews are professional and engaging. So grateful to have discovered Clearly Clinical.

    So valuable and convenient
I am an LPC with two young children and I love CC! Their topics are timely and their presenters are top notch. I love being able to do some of my CEs for licensing renewal while walking my dog!

    Needs references
Just listed to my first episode and as an EBP provider, I think it’s only appropriate that episodes list show references, not just say “there are huge studies”. I would like to actually see the studies and critically evaluate them myself

My favorite source online continuing ed
I am a fan of Clearly Clinical and have learned so much from their courses. I started by doing the free ones and then I subscribed, because they were just that good! I appreciate how they keep things fresh, relevant, and thoughtful. I cannot really see myself sitting in a day-long in person training ever again when I can listen to these podcasts while hanging out with my dog at home in between sessions!

    Excellent podcast, affordable CEUs!!
Loving this podcast! I’m learning more than I usually do with online learning, and the price is right. Will keep paying for this one!
  • P5spi
Great easy way to get quality CEUs
I love the ease of getting my ceus in while I’m driving or doing chores around the house. The quality is good and I also love being able to recommend the trainings to my associates if there is a specific topic I want them to brush up on.

    What a fantastic idea!
I am so grateful to be able to get CEs through a podcast, since it’s my favorite learning modality. Genius! Beth is a great interviewer and host and I appreciate the broad range of topics covered. Thanks!

    Excellent!
What a wonderful resource for clinicians. I really enjoy the authentic and transparent approach that the host + guests take—it’s so refreshing. Can’t believe I just found this podcast but I will look forward to catching up on previous episodes. Keep up the excellent work!

    Incredible Resource!
I am so incredibly impressed with this podcast. I listened to a few weeks’ worth of episodes to see if I found enough value to subscribe to the CE option, and I could not love what they’re doing here any more. The quality of the experts and content they bring to the show are too notch, the episodes featured are relevant and pertinent to my practice, and the fact that they’re all here for free to sample/as a resource to ALL clinicians is amazing. I am thrilled to now subscribe to the CEs and gain some credits for my courses, but also to just support this amazing endeavor. And women-owned, to boot! Your time will be well spent listening to this podcast as a clinician.

Amazing resource for free continuing education credits, especially awesome that it’s run and managed by women!!
  • mcainey
    This podcast is amazing!
I love the content and the expert guests on this show. I also enjoy the host and her ability to ask the questions that a clinician would ask. A wonderfully convenient way to earn contact hours!

Great Podcast for CEU and learning
This Podcast is the best, the courses are relevant to my practice and this is a great way to get your CEU’s. My only issue I have is, why do we only get 1 CEU per course? 🤷🏽‍♀️ It’s crazy the amount of time and effort and State Licensure only give 1 CEU. However, Clearly Clinical made it easy enough with this Podcast and the courses are awesome! Thanks 🤗👍🏽

    Professional and comprehensive
I am a clinical supervisor and I recommend this podcast to all my supervisees who are growing their therapy skills. The content is diverse and always well delivered. Beth is an intelligent and skilled interviewer. I listen to every episode and learn something each time.

    So helpful
I’m in school to become an LADC and this has given me so many great nuggets of wisdom that are making me feel more confident in my knowledge of these topics.

    Excellent
Just completed Narcissist:The Skilled Abuser Part 1 / 2. Excellent! This is an enjoyable format as I was able to go for a run, drive thru the city, sit in the park and fully immerse my self. I especially loved being able to rewind/replay material I wanted to give more attention to. Look forward to more 💫
  • hilljill88
    Fantastic
I am using this during my lockdown. Will be forwarding it to my employer both fr the CEU’s and make contributions. I have spread word in both the Social Work and Psychology community.
  • MMK213
    Excellent Resource
I really appreciate this format of CEU offering. It allows me to become a better therapist, get the CEUs I need, and take care of my two year old, all at the same time. So helpful!
  • RussellStrong
    Fantastic Courses
I just completed Clearly Clinical’s 1 hour course on Providing Inclusive Respectful Care to Your Gender Questioning, Transgender, and Non-Binary Clients. Great information. I look forward to more information - especially in this topic area. Dana Hoffman-Fox was a great presenter and I feel more equipped to meet my client’s needs.
  • k_l_yo
    Thank you!
I am so appreciative of the Clearly Clinical podcast. Thank you, Elizabeth! The free CE courses you have made available are so timely and important. I look forward to continuing to listen!
  • KoaReed
    Not inclusive with examples
I generally lie this podcast but there was one lately that rubbed me the wrong way. The hosts were discussing the importance of self-care for therapists and literally all examples that were given were targeted to therapists that are either childless right now or have support/ childcare cause I am a single parent without childcare support right now and I’m still working from home. There was nothing provided that could possibly work for me and I‘m not that out of the norm. So maybe acknowledging that being able to engage in self-care the way that was suggested is necessary AND a luxury/ privilege that not everyone has right now or never. Maybe broaden your examples to be more inclusive of people who are not in that same position in life. Update: uhm the episode on white ppl where to start. Oh my god, talking to a WHITE person to learn about racism? You really couldn’t think of anyone more qualified? And oooh the big bad word White privilege? Come on, it’s not scary. I can’t stand this. Thought I’d give this another try but no way. Listen to BLACK therapists y‘all.
  • Nnvm
    Amazing Therapy Resource!
The podcasts are interesting, engaging, and educational. I love that I can get CE credits by listening to a podcast! Truly a brilliant idea! Thank you for offering this resource!
  • changagarcia
    Episode 79
I was disappointed with episode 79. The presenters talked about the importance of spirituality and religion for clients but failed to mention how to help clients who’ve had abusive religious and spiritual beliefs and experiences.
  • Steve in LA
    Great experience
These podcasts are great for me... so convenient! I simply don't have time to make it to the big conferences, Covid complicates everything, and I feel like I'm skipping ahead in line thanks to these podcasts! I've been so impressed with the quality of learning and then wide selection of topics. Keep them coming Clearly Clinical!
  • Johnny A to the I
    Grateful for this
This podcast is rad. I’m kinda stunned that it exists... to put out such an array of educational options for free is pretty incredible. The free CE courses are on-point, and the quality of interviewees and presenters is awesome. I signed up for the paid CEU membership last week... I don’t really know how Clearly Clinical can only charge $60 for endless CEUs for a year and still support itself, but I sure am glad you do it! No offense to CE4Less, but this is so much better, AND it’s cheaper! Kidding, I’m not kidding. It really is the best. Thanks, Clearly Clinical. You knocked this it out of the ballpark.
  • Jessie.R.G
Great show with an amazing expert!
Beth has a gem of a podcast here! Not only is it great continued education, but she makes it palatable and interesting. She is also clearly an expert in mental health and I enjoyed listening to her show!
  • The Private Practice Startup
Being on your podcast was a blast!
Beth, thanks so much for inviting us on your podcast. We LOVE what you are up to and the mission that inspires you! Who know we could talk forever on telehealth and how to make it super effective for your practice. We hope this information really helps clinicians understand not only the ethics and laws around telehealth but how to make practical use of telehealth and how it can work for clinicians.
  • Lauren M. D.
    Very helpful
I’m a licensed therapist and I love listening to this podcast. The episodes are relevant and smart. Elizabeth does a great job as an interviewer by asking informative and insightful questions. I highly recommend.
  • Shy-Bri-Guy
    Great!
I graduated with an MSW last year, but I’m not new to the helping profession. Even though I don’t need CEU’s right now, I wanted to learn more about clinical practice, and I think Clearly Clinical’s Light Up the Couch is great either way. I learn quite a bit from listening both in providing care and learning about tools related to practice. Try them out if you want to “grow, learn, and shine” in your practice.
  • LeeB1
Informative and easy way to learn!
The podcasts have been informative and timely. Plus I love being able to get some CEs for free!
  • Q. Dunne
    Entertaining, enriching, and educational
As both a mental health professional and a "learning nerd," I'm always looking for good learning tools to help me become a better clinician. So, I was quite fortunate to discover this wonderful podcast. LIGHT UP THE COUCH features an ecletic variety of mental health professionals who have some valuable wisdom to impart. Highly recommended for both psychotherapists and those simply interested in learning more about emotional well-being.

    Dynamic, interesting, applicable, and thoughtful!
I love the topics addressed on this podcast and the variety of speakers. It's helped me in my personal life and every interview feels raw, unedited, and real. We need these kind of topics brought to us. Thank you!

    5 Star Podcast!!
How did I just now learn about this?! There are so many pros on here, like Drs. Mel Pohl (ASAM) and Scott Miller (the ORS and SRS outcome measures). Why didn’t podcast Continuing Ed exist before? To be honest, I only listened to this podcast to hear the stuff about HIPAA and progress notes at the insistence of my supervisor, and now I’m stoked for each week’s release. Well done, y’all
  • BlancaMartinez
    Best therapist podcast out there
Name another one, I’ll wait. I absolutely love this podcast. Like no other

    Really solid presenters
I wasn’t sure about trying podcasts for Continuing Ed- a friend recommended Clearly Clinical to me. I’m pleasantly surprised! The presenters are really knowledgeable and I’ve learned a lot from the ones I’ve heard. Hope more podcasts are coming out soon.
