This popped up and was one of my first podcasts I ever listened to ever, and it really influenced me in the sobriety journey and for that I’m grateful.

    Incredible podcast!
Wow, I stumbled across this podcast here in 2023. The host of this show was very informative and so pleasant to listen to. Such a shame that it is no longer being aired live. There are plenty of episodes, all with great positive vibes. I can see that this podcast would help so many people understand the journey. Thank you Tricia!
I have been listening to this podcast for a few years now and just got done with the last episode. Thank you so much Tricia for doing all your interviews and for all your honesty and information. The tools I have learned about and used from this podcast have been a lifesaver and have helped me live a full life in Recovery. From breathwork and brainspotting with a brainspotting therapist to drinking my favorite NA beverage or bubbly water, your insight and interviewees have truly changed my life. Y’all Tricia, you are a guru. 😀

    Relatable!
It’s hard to find stories and advice for ‘high-functioning’ or ‘high-bottom’ alcoholics, so I’m really grateful this podcast was created!

    My Favorite Recovery Podcast
I look forward to listening to a new episode every Tuesday! I have listened to so many recovery podcast but this one is my absolute favorite! My daughter is an alcoholic and I have learned so much from this podcast and it has helped me to understand the disease. I also stopped drinking over a year ago and I feel so much better!

Makes my morning commute! I have recently subscribed and love hearing someone talk about sobriety and all that’s related that is Just down to earth.:) I have been sober just a week short of 5 years and am always a work in progress on this journey.

    Great support for recovery journey
I’ve been sober for 9 months & my husband going on 3.5 years. I wish I found this podcast sooner. It’s healing to know so many people go through the same struggles & it helps in my recovery, knowing you are not alone & takes that “isolated” feeling away. I’m so thankful to hear so many different stories that all are similar with what I’ve gone through. This podcast has been a wonderful tool on my recovery journey & I know it will help so many others looking for support on their journey.

This show is my guiding light!
I am blazing my own path to sobriety (6 months dry) and this podcast is how I start everyday. I am so glad I found it. I’m learning how important having a sobriety tool belt is and this subscription is at the top of my list. Hearing others share their stories in such a safe and relatable format is so empowering. And I look forward to each and every episode introduction of Tricia’s. Really - they are great and resonate so much with me. She’s funny, insightful and encouraging. Five stars!

    The best podcast for sobriety
Gosh these episodes are amazing. I listen to them every day to distract myself, to realize I’m not all alone in so many aspects of my sobriety, and to get a good laugh. Just incredible, I don’t have enough positive things to say about it! 🤍
  • rowerca
Great for a listen when you need some sobriety
I got sober in the pandemic and have come to rely on digital content to stay connected to others and keep present in my program. The host and guests are relatable and the topics within the larger topic of sobriety are pretty varied. This is my “go to” podcast for sobriety. I would love to hear even more varied perspectives, people of color, lgbtq, immigrants, etc. Such a good show, keep it up!!
  • wkitacookiem
    Real & intuitive
I am beyond grateful to have found this podcast! The open mindedness to different types of recovery as to what works for you, personally, is what this has helped me with most! I didn’t realize there were options to recovery - AA is NOT the only way, although it is a great way! Tricia spills it real, & her interviewees are intuitive. The more experiences I hear, the more I am beginning to understand my own path. I will continue to tune in!
  • mamaErinE
So real, so fun, so helpful 💕
Quitting drinking is not boring... but you will go deeper! I love Tricia, her insight, compassion and interview style mix beautifully with well-researched (and lived) wellness tips for going alcohol free and loving it. Great interviewer and great guests!
  • Lady.Ninja

    If I didn’t know better...
I would have thought you were in my brain and were reading my mind! This episode is me exactly! I’m questioning my drinking but haven’t quit yet. I’ve signed up for the June 21 day reset and looking forward to it... Thank you for being an inspiration to me and getting me moving towards the right path. I’m a mom who is tired and feeling the “reward” certainly isn’t paying off and leaving me with shame. Thank you again, so happy I found you and your introduction to sober sis 😃
  • deeerae
    Thank You
I am newly sober ( less than 30 days) and went to a couple AA meetings and they just weren’t for me. I found your podcast and it has already helped me navigate this new strange world some. I like that I can listen while walking the dog, cleaning the house or on the commute. I am only a few episodes down but am looking forward to hearing more ... thank you.
  • Jjtjp2005
    Thank you.
I absolutely love this podcast. I’ve been having trouble with relapsing lately. After a small stay at the hospital because of drinking, I had finally had it. With you being back after your (well deserved) break it makes me look forward to Tuesday’s. Thank you for your real words and helping me not beat myself up so much after a relapse.
  • Julie Beannn
    so grateful for this podcast
it’s a big claim but this podcast has been a huge part in helping me through out my recovery. i’m just shy of being 4 months sober. i’m a server so i hugely relate to her background being in the hospitality industry and the drinking aspect within it. i was fortunate to have found her podcast in the early days of my sobriety and i began at episode 1. i have been able to listen to one or more almost every day since then. i’m so grateful i have this, as it’s been a useful tool to get me through my days and weeks. the interviews are with interesting yet relatable humans that have so much insight that i now carry with me every day. the beginnings and endings of her podcasts are also hugely informational and relatable too. thank you so much Tricia! you’ve helped me more than you know.
  • comptoaf
    Amazingly helpful
I think I’ve listened to ~80% of RHH episodes and it’s been incredibly helpful and major part of my ongoing efforts to becoming alcohol free. I’ve listened to others and while everyone has unique views and approaches, Tricia’s style and content has fit best for me. So honest, real, great helpful stories and advice from her interviewees and Tricia too. Get some good laughs in too. Thank you for helping me realize that it’s not me, it’s alcohol and our normalization culture that is the problem. How is ingesting a poison normal?! One of the most important things I’ve learned is not taking sobriety for granted and don’t look back! Never let yourself forget how bad it really was because your mind will trick you fast! I joined SoverSis after hearing your interview with Jenn of SoberSis and that community has been SO helpful and necessary for me. Thanks for what you’re doing for so many Tricia! With thanks from Johnson City, TN
