AAAj1mInformativeThank you for providing support to the Latinx community.

007yowMy favorite podcast at the moment!!!I love this podcast, it is so informative and reminds me that it is okay to seek help with mental health. I can relate to a lot of the topics covered and it shows me that I am not alone! There are other people in situations like mine. I have especially enjoyed an episode that talked about enmeshment and one that talked about dreams. One more thing, through the podcast I have been exposed to therapists that I now follow on Instagram and I get to follow their amazing content. All in all thank you and keep up the great work!

Angel1444Thank You 🤎Having this resource as a Latina means everything. Thank you for creating a safe space for all Latine, Latinx, Hispanic, Chicano…etc. folks, regardless of how we identify, to show up and learn how to care for our mental health.🫶🏼 Muchos thank yous!

Pita M.I love this podcast!I would like to highlight how important and NEEDED this podcast is- the information provided, the conversations, the guests who feel like family 100% the best podcast! I think the individuals throwing shade for the title using the term “Latinx” clearly are missing the point, which isn’t about the word itself but the content, the reason, the support, the community. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion AND this podcast to me is more than just some podcast using “colonizer language.” Let’s not trash our people, and instead uplift one another because that is exactly what colonizers want, to continue to create divide. Asi Que, viva Latinx therapy! 🤘🏽✊🏽🫶🏽
-
jleebreamazing resource!thank you for sharing these much needed conversations with our comunidades! latinx people deserve to be seen, heard, validated, respected & so much more! la lucha continúa and we gotta have each others back. let’s not let hate win. we will fight for justice and fierce love 🙏🏽🙏🏽 🤎🤎🤎

Liizzy13Love this!Thank you for bringing awareness to important topics and reminding us that language is fluid. Imagine thinking language should never change 😅 Sending you much love 💕
-
Megan639Just stop“Latinx” isn’t a word. Pew Research Center put out a poll showing that 95% of Latinos in the US don’t like the word and don’t use it. You’re letting white people colonize our language and culture by using it. Stop.
-
stop brainwashing usPlease, but please stop using the Latinex. Att: LATINOS LATINAS AND HISPANOS.Stop a government imposed word that is used to further the Democrat agendas.

Vekr-Ugh!Whoever created and uses this imbecilic, virtue-signaling term needs to go back to school. We DO NOT appreciate being called “Latinx” I prefer the term “Latin American”. Ever heard of it?? 🙄
-
WrigleyFieldMarshalDumb nameNo one with credibility uses terms like “Latinx.”

1AlmanzaLove ❤️Just started listening to the show from beginning to end. Love it! I would love to hear an episode on MLM’s in the Latin community.
-
TextdghHuh?I know what a Latino is and what a Latina is, I actually know a lot of them personally. I have never seen a Latinx and don’t know what one is. Is that some kind of creature or something? Asking for an amigo.
-
delenda est CarthagoLol Latin xWay to let liberal white women change your language, there is no such thing as Latinx.
-
PastasaladLaughableNo matter how hard you try to make latinx a thing it will never be a thing
-
FrijirhvorvEye rollHow about you start by not insulting us with the term Latinx.. so gross and out of touch.

june soulEye opening/soul opening/mind opening podcast!I am non-stop recommending this podcast to my friends and family including my parents. We think there are enough resources out there but Latinx Therapy serves our community so specifically and deeply in English AND Spanish. I can’t give Adriana Alejandre enough praises for her dedication in building this. Thank you!
-
@isabelbarreraThank you!I am so thankful I found this podcast ! Puts a lot of things into perspective !

The Latinx Identity ProjectGraciasAs a survivor of sexual abuse I have gone through so much healing and reflection. Until now, I have never heard sexual abuse talked about in our communities. I feel like this has opened a path in my healing I didn’t know was necessary. I will seek culturally relevant content about this going forward. Thank you!!

Ang MijoMUST LISTEN LATINX THERAPY PODCAST!!Simply adore this podcast series more than ever realize LATINX mental healthcare is becoming more commonplace within marginalized communities. The selected topics and subject matters mentioned in this series are necessary to discuss and culturally appropriate to communicate with LATINX and non-LATINX podcast audiences. For the professional fields (e.g. accounting, social work, education), this podcast series have the relevance of information useful in helping, working with, or understanding intersectional underrepresented populations.
-
SamandraDiazTHANK YOU!I just started listening to this podcast and I can’t wait to catch up - there so many great topics! Thank you for addressing the cultural issue and misunderstanding or lack there of - for anxiety and depression in the hispanic community. Love this podcast!
-
LumirezRelatable!!Just started listening to this podcast after listening to another postcast called Millennials Meet World and was absolutely blown away what Adriana Alajandre was talking about mental health issues in the Latinx Communities which is rarely ever talked about and I can relate to this because growing up with parents in a Mexican household they don’t believe in mental health issues and think it’s just something you can “work out or go running” to get rid of it.. so yeah a lot of information in this podcast! Thank you! Keep up the hard work!! :)
-
Mindful MeditatorXInformative and NurturingThis podcast brings a essential information for Chicanas like me who are seeking multiple tools to grow as an adult and nurture my inner child. Gracias!

-
Tatau1Excellence source for Latinx generationI love it. Very interesting conversations. Very professional host and guest. As a Latina I feel so helpful to listen to this podcast. Chapina madreWow! You’re amazing! This is a great podcast! I’m much older than you but your story about bing a teen mom is a true inspiration. I definitely related a whole lot and I’m sure many other women would too. I was searching for a podcast that referred to the the Latino culture. I’m a Guatemalan mother of 4, and I know I need help will benefit from listening to your podcast. Thanks for the work you’re putting into helping families overcome the stigma of receiving mental health support. Muchas bendiciones!
-
therapywithjurianaMust listenI recommend this podcast to my clients and the families of my clients because Adriana and her guest do such an amazing job at destigmatizing mental illness. The topics shared are issues related to our cultura and every time I listen to an episode I feel validated and normal. Thank you! Keep them coming!
-
Anais Summer DayThank you LantinxThis podcast has been an eye opener for me. I had been able to find therapist, learn new vocabulary in Spanish about mental health but most importantly it has help me explain to my mother what are some of the issues I am battling with! A must listen!!! Highly recommend
-
PodzThis podcast is what our community has been needing!I am a therapist myself and was turned to this podcast by my Latinx clients. This has been empowering for them and exciting for me every time a new one comes out. It’s liberating and revolutionary. Highly recommend.

LatinxPresenceInvaluable Resource 🙌🏻The Spanish version of this podcast is an invaluable resource for both Latinx families and social service professionals. This podcast provides psycho-education to Spanish speaking clients in a concise, yet meaningful way. As a Mexican American woman, summing up her 1st year of a 2-year MSW program I have found that this podcast has informed my practice through aiding communication of clinical lingo to my Spanish speaking clients. I can not stress the importance of the messages found with in your podcast Adriana! Muchisimas Gracias!
-
Gaby1868It’s about time we have a podcast like this!!!Thank you to Adrianna the host for dedicating her life’s work to de-stigmatizing mental health in our community. This is helping so many people!

-
Belle.GBest MH Podcast out there for LatinxI am a current Master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Dominican-American. I have always been interested in mental health and in recent years knew that this is the profession that is right for me. Listening to this podcast is so educational and really helps to reaffirm that I made the right decision with my career path. It also has the double added positive layer of being Latinx focused. It really helps me to realize things about my own identity growing up Latinx, but also what it will be like going back into our communities and working through the negative stigmas of mental health most of us grew up with. I recommend this podcast to everyone in the Latinx community, but especially to those that work in the mental health field and are not Latinx, because this will really help give you more information and more of a perspective of how to better serve your Latinx clients. Highly recommended!
-
