Pink Shade is one of my favorite podcasts and the only one my husband will listen to with me for reality recaps. We love love love listening to you, Keisha and Kimberly. Because of this podcast I also found my other favorite, A Date with Dateline. Y’all are the best!!! Keep doing what you’re doing.

I literally watch none of these shows, but love listening to MP and her cohosts recap! Have loved Kimberly for years over at DWD (and her voice is perfect!), just found Keisha but she’s gorgeous and hilarious, and always love Amy’s takes! Also, Mattie and Kimberly together was maybe my favorite thing ever.

Since Kimberly was bummed about the negative review about her, I needed to come here and say that not only is she my favorite cohost, but I discovered date with dateline listening to this pod and started watching dateline just to listen to her and am now a Patreon member. It is my comfort podcast and like Mary Payne I also listen to it to help me sleep. You’re a gem Kimberly don’t listen to the haters 🌈

Just a suggestion

I’m leaving a 5 star review because what I’m reviewing has nothing to do with y’all. One of the two ladies that joined Mary Payne and Keisha on this week’s LALU recap was throwing y’all off. Can’t remember her name, she was the one that didn’t think Chicken in a Biskit was a thing anymore lol. I felt like she was dismissing Keisha a lot and took over the whole podcast. I think 4 is just too many voices, especially when one is talking over everyone. It bothered me most because she was loud and wrong lol. Love y’all!

I want it to succeed

I enjoy MP and her gift of gab and most of her guests. There’s way too much Keisha, whose takes on things are often dated and problematic (one example is saying she sides with Jesse over Michelle on the Valley…ooof. How can you miss how textbook abusive he is?). LALU is a great level of show for Keisha to recap so I’m sad that she’s doing The Valley because I’d love to listen to MP talk about it with someone who has interesting insight and understands the long history of everyone.

I’ve been a listener since it was Erin’s podcast.., many years. I really enjoy the show… and I know they have to make money with sponsors…. But there are WAY. TOO. MANY. ADS. And they are LONG ads… like 15 mins of a 1 hour podcast. Update 4/11/25 Still WAY too many ads… and even longer now… like another reviewer said— not worth it.

Too many commercials

There are so many commercials it makes it impossible to listen to. And the commercials last like 5 minutes. You have to constantly skip ahead. Not worth it 🤷‍♀️

Oh my god! These girls are hilarious! So authentic and naturally so flipping funny! Their rapport is absolutely fabulous! They have great rapport with everyone, it’s so natural and unforced. I love Mary Payne but can we PLEASE stick to Keisha and Amy, and Doug for pop culture? Deanna Chang has the worst vocal fry and I physically couldn’t listen to any of her podcasts. She sounds like a Kardashian. It’s absolutely horrendous.
