    New format not as good
I’m not a big fan of the new format. I listen to this show because I want to hear climbers talk about their climbing. The current format spends most of the time with the host (and other guests who weren’t on the climb) and a minimal amount of time with the actual climbers talking. If you want to learn about a remarkable new route, maybe wait for the write-up in the AAJ.

Audio like inside a tin can
Very poor audio quality gets in the way of great stories

    AAJ commitment to risk management
Wonderfully entertaining and educational it is awesome to see the adventure community embracing risk and applying principles that I personally have used in a career of Naval Aviation as well as commercial flying. We learn best from mistakes and this podcast along with The Sharp End are AWESOME!

An in-depth look at the biggest, baddest and newest routes
For avid alpine climbers, members of the AAC and readers of the American Alpine Journal, this interview-style podcast goes in deep to provide an inside look at the newest and most significant climbs around the world. These in-depth interviews provide the stories, details and nitty gritty that don't come through in news reports - looking forward to more episodes!

    Hope they keep it up
Marc Andre interview was really powerful. This is a great podcast, I disagree with the other person who said the host talks too much. Hoping they keep this podcast about Alpinism, there is enough out there about sport climbing and such. So far it’s been awesome!

    Who's this about anyway?
Awesome guests, but the Host loves to talk about himself/his experiences. 👎

    A climbers podcast for climbers
This is such a good idea, and I’m super proud to be a small part of it! The AAJ is a worldwide resource for documenting the top climbs and expeditions around the world, and now we finally get to hear some of those stories firsthand from the athletes themselves. I’m very much looking forward to episodes to come!
