Great guests and topics but host could ask better questions
I wish the host would ask more follow-up questions. I find myself yelling out loud, “ask them WHY they said that or believe that!” Instead the host tends to just say, “that’s interesting” a lot and then moves on to his next question.

    Fantastic questions
This podcast is really insightful and Stuart asks fantastic questions at the right time. He does a good job of letting the people talk and getting them to rant. This is important because these intellectuals can get out the information in full without leaving out major pieces that can help the listeners to understand better. I think that he dives into a more broad perspective of this as to learn about the many different moving pieces and I connect with that!

Interesting podcast - you will broaden your horizons and think of consciousness on new ways
The podcast itself is great, with some really great guests and interesting questions. I have been listening for over a year now and always look forward to the ideas and insights that the guest speakers have. The key with this podcast is to think of Stuart not as an expert host, but a person on a journey to learn more about consciousness. His microphone is not the best, and his answers are often hmms or yeahs, but it can be forgiven considering the quality of guests he gets on this show. I always end up with some great ideas and a list of books to go read at the end of most of the episodes. It’s no joke to say how much this podcast has broadened my horizons.

    Consciousness Podcast
Came across this podcast just looking for insightful information on consciousness and this is it! The guests are super interesting and I’ve learned a lot listening to these episodes. Stuart might not have profound answers or replies but we’re all here to learn and I think he is learning just as much as we are so I can appreciate that.

This is fantastic and comes from a place of genuine curiosity and not just pushing an agenda. Great job!

    poor thing
this poor guy doesn’t hear or understand anything his normally guests are saying. the least informed host asking very lame questions.

    The Consciousness Podcast
Stuart is great, And I'm picky about interviewers, do it for a living-- this is a wonderful podcast, he gets a rapport with the respondents, and states his questions eloquently and in a way that we all can understand, that interviewees appreciate. Complex area--opens up a lot of interesting stuff for a broad range of listeners.

    Interesting Guests
The guests are great. The interviewer has zero affect or inflection, so it’s a hoot to hear him saying “Wow...that’s fascinating...I never thought of that,” in an absolute monotone. The guests will say something profound followed by an awkward silence during which you can almost see the letters W T F? forming over the interviewer’s head while he tries to keep up. Other times he continually interrupts the guests with a repeatedly ill-placed “yeah right, right, right” sounding completely bored. In short, the guests sound conscious, the interviewer sounds unconscious. Unintentionally funny and interesting at the same time.
