Relentlessly negative and contrarian. Bizarre takes. Just seem like nasty people to be around.

Not many places you can turn to for insightful commentary on American culture and politics from a truly leftist perspective. Highly recommended for the freaks and geeks

Extremely poor choice in podcast names. Creators, maybe you should have googled it before making it your brand.

The show has ebbed and flowed over the years and sometimes the media they talk about isn’t exactly aligned with my tastes but for my money the Sesh is among the best of the best.

Horrible communicators. All of them use the speech crutch "like" over and over and over. I can't listen.

Just skip this review and just listen to the Batman V Superman episode and the episode of Jack reading Movie Bob’s book. It’s been really cool to see Struggle Session grow over the last few years. I don’t always agree with Jack and Leslie but they are always entertaining and insightful. The addition of Shannon, Emma and Hether as correspondents was a great choice and really helps break up the different types of episodes and create a unique feel for the different types of media they cover. Highly recommend signing up for the bonus feed through their Patreon, most of my favorite episodes are from there. I’m not a shill, just sincere 🤗

My favorite show to listen to where I disagree with the host’s pop culture takes like 95% of the time. Politics always on point though

It’s ok. I can’t afford to see all These first run films, and do not have the financial ability to have all the streaming services they cover, so I might get to listen to 1 in every 10 episodes. leftist podcast that utterly depends on capitalism and exploitation for content. Make more guest appearances on podcasts I’ll actually listen to!!

I especially love Leslies takes on “problematic” faves. It’s okay to be ambivalent about the entertainment that you enjoy, I cannot recommend this enough. They always have amazing if not outstanding takes.

Came here for the leftist takes, was excruciatingly disappointed by literally every one of jack and leslies opinions on everything. There is no actual leftist analysis happening in any of these podcast, either free or patreon subscribed. They’re unfortunately elevated by other podcasts who also tend to have bad takes but are at least fun to listen to. Skip for sure.

Someone just retweeted a clip of these people into my feed, and having heard of the podcast before and needing new stuff to listen to, I listened to it to see if I might like the show. It's from a patreon thing where they read from someone's memoir, making fun of the guy's grandmother dying. I mean...I can't even put into words how pathetic and mean-spirited this is. What can I say but yikes?

First people I’ve heard not crapping on this game. It seems people are becoming more and more set in there ways about games. I relish in the weird, and the different. “Pallet cleansers” are my jam. Great podcast. This game made me want to listen to podcasts.

If you’re looking for garbage takes on everything from pizza to David Fincher from a bunch of closet INCELs you’ve found your new favorite show.

Show is boring and the hosts are smug and not funny. Total garbage

I see the popentioal for a show I'd enjoy but the guest commentators are frustratingly lackadaisical. The Akira episode was the one that broke me. But I will come back in a few months to see how things have changed.

Great politics, bad takes, what’s not to love

Although older podcasts were better. Modern podcasts aren’t as good as the ones from back in the day because today’s podcasts aren’t old.

This podcast is a breath of fresh air. While other podcasts in this american life have become pundits gauging the success or failure of pop culture or paid commentary, these guys actually like the stuff they talk about in the here & now. All things considered, it’s a great show.
